  1. If there is a Kotor anthology where K1 and K3 are shown as games that have their own interesting things, it would be enough, since K2's abrupt presentation does not deal directly as a continuation from K1's story. If not a trilogy, then at least an anthology.
  2. There is some sense here. Peragus is more like a mid-game scenario. To have it as a start in K2 is quite abrupt. (It's hard to relax while trying to get through some place quickly)
  3. Look up a gamefaq guide on K2 but there are some points I mentioned also:
  4. You could try a game faq guide on K2 by Dan Simpson and look for it using a search engine. It deals with some stats in terms of weapon damage although it may not show breakdown stats for equipped weapons.
  5. What about Neutral? Jolee or Kreia could be close to it.
  6. Manaan for me also. Also shows what could be just as or more dangerous than Selkath themselves when underwater. Also a relaxing environment in K1.
  7. And if you follow what mr raider suggested, your PC will start to engage Mira in dialogue about learning the Force. Mira's Jedi class is a Sentinel. You can always refer to a K2 Game Faq which was written by someone called Dan Simpson that gives specific steps to convert Mira to a Jedi using any search engine.
  8. Malak is not really difficult. Equip a PC with an Electrical capacitance shield which absorbs 100% Force lightning, and cast Improved Energy Resistance. Follow up with Master speed and just keep attacking till he runs. Follow and keep up with it. In fact, there are quite a few ways to deal with Darth Malak, so what is above is only one strategy.
  9. K2 was ok, but beginning was rushed and going through its ending was like moving against gravity in some ways.
  10. Well, Peragus was ok in K2, but not as a starting planet. It could have come as a periphery location after a first planet in TSL. The pace for Peragus was quite rushed actually, and that is something that would be appropriate towards mid-game rather than as a beginning in advancing TSL's story.
  11. You could try resizing your resolution and set graphics texture to lowest.
  12. Somehow, Sentinels have further utilisation in K2, whether it is for LS or DS. And this is even without playing as either a Watchman or Assassin.
  13. If there was a quest to replace Kreia's lost arm, would have taken Kreia as a party member often.
  14. Not too sure how Malak would look like as a Sith with his original jaw.
  15. Me. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I find it hard to not consider how Peragus's story relates to K1 in some ways even though Taris has its own part in KOTOR history.
  16. Well, K2 has an elaborate chronology of how events before K1's time period were already operating, so K2's story isn't exactly a post-version or merely a sequel to K1. Seems like a simultaneous advancement.
  17. Would choose either Atton or Mira. Also, either of them can level up as Sentinels.
  18. Have you tried installing the patch update for K2?
  19. Either Atton or Mira. Both can also become Jedi Sentinels.
  20. Well, TSL probably would not be able to do what KOTOR did exactly. To some extent, it did have slight differences in terms of lighting. It wasn't exactly duller, but might have been a dark game. (Many parts of TSL did not have exactly bright lighting effects) Besides most kinds of lighting in K2 were more like neon lights, like in Telos' cantina, on signboards against walls. Put simply, there were small sources of light rather than bright ones being used. Some points: K2's Sith assassination story was executed poorly NPCs were few And also modified lighting that K1 used
  21. Makes sense. Even if K1 was not part of a Kotor trilogy, it tends to stand by itself as an SW game. Find it hard to say the same for K2.
  22. Chose K1 as it had substantial plot advancement for main story and optional story deviations. However, both KOTOR games have their strengths, I think. K3 would likely draw upon themes from both.
