http://www.thekingoflimbs.com/ New Radiohead album out this saturday! Would be beyond awesome if they managed to make an album on the same level as OK Computer and Kid A again.

StarCraft 2
They practise A LOT more. 7-9 hours per day. At least that's the way it was in WC3.

Have you read the book? I really liked the first two episodes, the castings of Tom Builder and Waleran especially were exellent.

2010 FIFA World Cup
It was unintentional, but intentional in the sense that he didn't have the arm "attached" to his body. If his arm had been attached to his body it would've been completely legal.

2010 FIFA World Cup
You sure it was unfair? Kewell illegally prevented a goal-scoring opportunity in the penalty area. Going by the rules, that's a penalty and a red card, intentional handball or not. The unintentional handball rule only applies in situations where there is no goal-scoring opportunity for the opposing team.

I'm getting all nostalgic now...
Haha, same here! Watching a good WC3 replay is almost as fun as watching a good movie. Speaking of which, this one is a gem.

The Flaming Lips - Best Band Ever or Just an Orgasm For Your Ears?
Their new album, Embryonic, is amazing, one of their best. Can't go wrong with The Soft Bulletin, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots and At War With the Mystics either. As for similar bands. Maybe Yeasayer? Pink Floyd is similar in some ways as well, especially some of their early albums.

Been listening a lot to Fleet Foxes lately. Not sure why I didn't pay any attention to them until recently, after all the positive reviews they got in 08. My favourite song from their self-titled album: Really been in an indie/alt-mood this year, after discovering great bands like Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Yeasayer, Wilco and Bat for Lashes.

Books
I haven't read it yet, but Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell by Susanna Clarke is supposedly very good. Gaiman himself called it "the finest English novel of the fantastic written in the last seventy years".

Anyone seen District 9? Best sci-fi movie in ages.- Favorite book/series?
Some of my favorites.. A Song of Ice and Fire and Fevre Dream by George R. R. Martin Malazan: Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson Wheel of Time 1-6 by Robert Jordan Dune Chronicles by Frank Herbert The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentlemen Bastard sequence) by Scott Lynch The Stand and The Dark Tower by Stephen King Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong Pretty much anything by Neil Gaiman, especially American Gods The Steel Remains by Richard Morgan Started reading Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan as well, and it's really good so far. Definitely gonna keep reading more books by him.- The Music Thread
The Cure - Just Like Heaven (My favourite song these days. Can't believe I haven't payed any attention to The Cure before. Fantastic band.)- Good Sci-Fi and Fantasy books
Seconded. Haven't had so much fun with a fantasy-series in ages. Also, can't go wrong with Malazan Book of the Fallen. (Ignore its cheesy name) Other fantasy books/series I've really enjoyed: Dune A Song of Ice and Fire, and also Fevre Dream by GRRM. Anansi Boys, Neverwhere and (especially) American Gods by Neil Gaiman The Gentlemen Bastard Sequence by Scott Lynch (First book is called The Lies of Locke Lamora) The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss (First book in a new triology) The First Law Triology - Joe Abercrombie Those last three series are pretty much "the new ****" in fantasy.- Wrath of the Lich King
From what I've read you can only swap speccs in a city.- WoW Servers
Agreed. Also, by the time you'd leveled that supposedly strong class up to 80, it probably wouldn't be among the "strong" classes anymore. My own class, warlock, was one of the best classes in TBC, but in WotLK we've been one of the weakest classes in pvp, it's all about the burst damage now. In TBC I was usually around 1700-1800 rating, now I can't even get over 1500..- The Music Thread
Animal Collective - My Girls- Top 10 Televsion Characters
Al Swearengen from Deadwood. Now, here's my counter-offer to your counter-offer. Go fu** yourself.- Wrath of the Lich King
WoWWiki Really neat site.- Pink Floyd keyboardist Rick Wright died
This is sad and really unexpected. Never heard anything about him being ill. RIP.- Your Top 10 Favorite Games of All Time
1. Goldeneye 64 2. Warcraft 3 (with expansion) 3. Heroes of Might and Magic III 4. Perfect Dark 64 5. Championship Manager 97/98 6. Super Mario World 7. Kotor 1 & 2 9. Red Alert 10. World of Warcraft- The Music Thread
The Clash - The Magnificent Seven- Books
Great book that. Insanely hard to remember all the names, but every time I read it I discover some new amazing dude who I'd forgotten about. Zhuge Liang ftw. - Movies you have seen recently
