  1. I don't think that at your first playthrough, you will know when will a natural team just turn hostile. The first ok, and the next ones? Are you gonna play this game once?
  2. Does this expolit can be used when you know you will fight a neutral group of enemies just after? If yes, it can be a common situation and not that rare
  3. I wanna try to build a chanter on my first playthrough but i have a doubt: they are buffing and summoning, ok but..meanwhile, how it's better to let them attack? I mean, they're melee? ranged? what kind of weapons they use, they have to stay really behind like wizards ..or what?
  4. I guess: 26 March + Day one patch: Critical path without major bugs, some heavy bugs and a lot of light bugs on secondary stuff and many glitches all around. 3 Avril + patch 1.1: Critical path without major bugs, a lot of light bugs on secondary stuff and a decent number of glitches all around. 1 May + patch 1.2: Critical path without major bugs, some light bug on secondary stuff + new bugs introduced with patch and a a few number of glitches all around. 20 May + patch 1.3: Critical path without major bugs, some light bug and a few number of glitches all around. 5 June + patch 2.0: Critical path almost bug free, just few glitches all around + removal\radical change to engagement system 10 July + patch 2.1: Almost all game without issues Summer 4 perfect game Imho. I don't remember any recent Rpg who did better tho, so it's the average
  5. To be honest it makes no difference to me if the radius is small, so i'm ok with this change; I have to say that making things optional is the best way to satisfy all the audience, tho.
  6. Stormwall Gorge looks more "bluish" compared to the BBeta. I'm wondering if it's only a screenshot effect or there is an effective change between Bbeta and the screenshot build
  7. I think that a mod-changing radius to 0 will restore the original concept
  8. I personally loved the battle music vs the Warchief during the Pax East. I can't wait to listen it in a cleaner way.
  9. Can some angel post a screenshot in Stormwall Gorge and Dyrford crossing areas both on nightime, please? I would really appreciate, thank you very much
  10. It would be nice to have Npcs sitting on chairs, expecially inside Inns. No need transations, just static ones, like Baldur's Gate did.
  11. I think he's afraid, night can be There may be quests that require going places at certain times of the day as well, never know. Better question, why would you be opposed to going somewhere at night? if its darker its harder to see items on the ground, monsters, etc They should let avaiable only the easiest of difficulty settings: if its harder, it will be harder to play
  12. They said (on January) they would've fixed by adding crowd noise
  13. I remember my first playthrough on Baldur's Gate, back in the 90's, i played with normal difficulty settings and it lasted a lot of time, i guess 50+ hours at least MINIMUM To be honest that was my first RPG ever played, but this means nothing: i was a RTS-TB expert (Dune 2, C&Conquer, Redalert, Ufo:defense\Terror from the deep\Apocalypse) so i felt confortable with the game anyway
  14. I'm pretty sure i've seen some kind of transition like dusk\dawn time.
  15. Consider that i grabbed that screen on google images, dunno how old it is and if something changed since then
  16. There is a huge difference between "at night you can see in the dark" and "at night everything is bright like a soccer field under 50.000 W artificial lights" tho. A full moon can give some vision, i agree with you, but nothing who can be compared to daytime. In a game like this, expecially with an only aestethic day\night cycle, the difference between daytime and nighttime must be emphasised a lot to give the best experience in terms of atmosphere. Example: I've just cleared an area on daytime. I start a new game and i do the same area as before, but this time it's at nighttime. Even if it's the same map with the same encounters, the darkness and the "heavy" night atmosphere can offer to me a totally different experience.
  17. Young man, there's no need to feel down I said, young man, pick your loot from the ground I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town There's no need to be unhappy Youg man, there's an inn you can go. I said, young man, when you're short on you dough. You can stay there, and i'm sure you will find Many quests to have a good time It's good to play the BB.E.T.A. It's good to play the BB.E.T.A.
  18. I forgot to mention a nice touch of class. Some interiors look different from day to nighttime...this is, dunno how to call it, the opposite of "lazy design"; i really love those details, applause to the artistic department
  19. Thank you for clarifying. As expected, everything seems easier from the outside (i mean, from a non-programmer point of view), i can imagine there is a lot of work behind the scene that normal people do not notice. Nice to hear that you did some tweak since then
  20. Can some dev please explain why some areas have a superbright nighttime while others are darker? don't you use the same "time of day" lighting for all maps? Do you have to tune every single map?
  21. I guess also that the unlucky guy inside the temple is waiting game to be released too, so he can finally go out to live his life. Obsidian should give him a reward for his patience
  22. I guess it would be a huge relief for bakers to start a new game and find themself out of Dyrford village, finally
  23. Playing PoE just for rushing critical path it is like playing Call of duty for listening to the dialogues. If you wanna rush the game probably u need to look another genre that suits better for this kind of gameplay behaviour
  24. I think that the average PoE player will spend a lot of time on dialogues, exploration, sidequests, etc..otherwise why buying this kind of game? I guess that only a 2% of PoE players will rush through the critical path, so the average time for a playtrough will be pretty high
  25. Mmh, can u make some 2d isometric games examples for this?
