You know that a berserker will attack your "frontliners" as well with his carnage attacks? You should rather have a beckoner chanter in your party, to summon skeletons (6 for 12 seconds with 20 INT). Nobody cares if they get hit by the berserker. You just have to create more space until you can summon the skeletons (18 seconds for beckoner). Devoted is not so good in the beginning, because you don't know which weapons are available in the long run and i don't know if you can respec the MC to choose another weapon proficiency.

I hope they fixed the long loading times from the first game, after you played 2/3 of the game. In the beginning, they were really quick, but as further you came, the longer they got.

You can play the game with German text(and any other localisation for that matter) and English voice, what are you talking about? What i mean was, i don't want to hear english and read german. I want to read german and hear german voice over. I don't want to read in english. So i have to mute the english voice over, because there is no german one. Like in the first pillars.

Others can explain better, but basically it works like this. Power level is a component of multiclassing, so I'll use that as an example. Think of a single class Wizard versus a multiclass Wizard/Fighter: 1) The Wizard/Fighter can cast some of the same spells that the Wizard can, but at slightly reduced power (less damage, less duration, less penetration, etc). This power disparity increases slightly as the two characters grow in levels. 2) The Wizard can cast higher level spells earlier than the Wizard/Fighter can. For example, a Wizard would get Level 5 spells faster than the Wizard/Fighter. 3) The Wizard can cast some very high level spells (Level 8 and Level 9) that the Wizard/Fighter will never get access to. Just take all the good ideas about multiclassing from d&d rules.

I love this game, it is almost perfect. My favourite RPG of all time was Baldurs Gate 2. But i would say, it's almost even now. Only the world of BG is much better, because there is so much more to discover from R.A. Salvatore books etc. What i don't like is ... (CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS - NOT STORY WISE) # The resting restriction of 2 in PotD. That makes it frustrating for a solo run as wizard or priest. You have to constantly recover your spells and you have to leave the dungeon over and over to get more resting gear. It should be unlimited or at least, the stack should be at 10 or more. In Baldurs Gate you get random encounters when you rest, that would be an idea maybe, but the restriction is a no go i think. # The Gloves of Manipulation are too rare. I played through the game 5 times and found em only once. As an example, that skaen temple below dyrfort, needs 10 mechanics for the traps, but i could never accomplish that by the time, i do the dungeon. Maybe as rouge with background bonus, but hard with other classes and when you play solo. The gloves would have helped a lot. # The loading times. At the beginning of the game, they where pretty short, but later on, they get longer and you have to load a lot in this game, so this should be improved. # The lack of immunity to stun. You can only reduce the time with a potion and a armor, and get more deflection bonus when you are stunned. But why is there not simply a item, that makes u immun, like that gloves for paralyze or scroll against petrify / charmed? That would make the fight against vithrak sometimes easier. I think for now that is all, what i don't like about the game. /EDIT I forgot something: # The bottle drinking. Very often you try to drink something, but instead he attacks. I think he gets interrupted, but he should just keep on trying to drink it, instead of attacking.

That was my skillbuild for Adra, Alpine Dragon, Llengrath and Thaos. B4 that i had maxed INT and lower perception. And i had nothing in stealth and survival, most points into mechanic and lore, and some points what was left into athletics. Lore because of the scroll, that prevents paralyze, moonwell and maelstrom scroll can be a help in some fights. Until you find in WM 2 that gloves in the Mines, that make you immun to paralyze. Maelstrom is pretty good vs. Vithracks. btw: You have to wear that armor, that nets you +2 survival for the Consumable II resting bonus. https://abload.de/img/11zosyl.png https://abload.de/img/22uds0z.png https://abload.de/img/332ksj1.png

Remember that the devs specifically stated that they were not balancing the game for solo play. As such it's not really fair to call it cheap for something that wouldn't be a particular issue in party play. I did not know that, but they put in achievements for solo play or TCS, so it must be possible. Just one item that provides immunity to stun would have done it.

Yeah i looked it up, there are 2 armors that do that. I used em and i got stunned for 15 seconds xD There is a helmet that does the exact same, but i does not stack or? And the yellow potions seem to lower it 2. Yeah there are 2 shields, one is little savior, the best shield and you have to fight against vithracks b4 you can get it, so better take the other one, what you find on level 5. I m only concerned about that giant mushroom fight in WM2, there are some vithracks. Non-shield stun/prone defensive items do not stack with each other (helms, rings, armors). However, those will stack with a shield because shields are considered "weapons" and weapons stack with everything. So, for optimal stun/prone protection, use one of the shields (both found in the endless paths) and your choice of other +50 while stun/prone equipment (armor/helm/ring). That will net you +100 to all defense while stun/prone which usually means that almost everything will miss you completely. You can just lie on the ground all day long and laugh at your enemies feeble attempts to hit you. For paralyze, there is a higher level scroll you can craft for immunity or, in the second expansion, there is an item that grants permanent immunity. I like to get that before a certain high-level bounty full of annoying AOE paralyzing vithracki. Yeah, i should have known that before i did the vithrak bounty. But it will help me in od nua and the mines. Helm: He carries many scars +50 defense while stunned Shield: Ilfan +50 defense while stunned Armor: Blaidh Golan -50% stun duration Potion: Potion of Major Recovery -40% hostile effect This should do it, i hope xD
