The story I heard last night when the story first broke was that the mortal shots had been earlier in the day which weakened the bridge. The mortal shots were not into the crowd when it was gathered. A rumor of a suicide bomber caused everyone to flee, which caused a stampede, and the weakened bridge also broke causing some people to plummet 30 meters.

I still play the Command Keen games and pray that 3DRealms will do a good 3D platformer with Keen someday.

Have you played football? I bet money that anything you consider a sport I've played, and very few of them are as difficult on the whole as football. Football is mentally and physically taxing, while sports like soccer are merely physically taxing. Don't knock something which you don't understand.

You guys forget Frank K. This isn't Dark Alliance 3, nor will it be a spiritual successor. This game is using Unreal 3, so it will be first person most likely, and possibly third person. It probably won't be the multiplayer game that DA was either. I haven't played DA2 though I keep hearing it was much better than the first. And Hades is being unfair as per usual so take him with a grain of salt. DA is actually much better than several other titles that used the Snowblind engine like Heroes, Bards Tale, etc.

I really like MSI's video cards as they use quality copper heatsinks and throw tons of free games at you like Myst IV, XIII and Prince of Persia.

Yet USC can't sell out a game, but Nebraska sells out its 80,000 seat stadium every single game since 1962. USC is drawing 85,000 now riding 2 national championships, and a possible three-peat. Mind you a three-peat has never happened in college football. Lincoln, NE has 100,000 people but sells out 80,000 seats every game. USC at their peak can't sell out despite having 20 million people in SoCal. Do the math again. The article still insists on the whole that large markets have worse attendence while small markets have better attendence.

A while back in another thread Volourn and I were debating how important the size of a city was in attendence. I noted how USC can't sell out games despite being national champs, how LA lost both NFL franchises, how Phoenix has the worst attendance in the NFL, how Green Bay has the best, etc. Well, I just came across an article on this very issue. Those relics were Sith holocrons. I think she was getting corrupted well before Katarr though she doesn't see it that way.

She was overconfident and wanted to deal with the problems head on. While she acts judgemental towards the Exile for going to war with Revan, deep down she really wishes she had done the same years ago. So when a shadow Sith threat appears, she wants to confront it head-on. She tipped off the Sith so that she could hope to combat the Sith directly. She didn't realize how stupid the whole thing was because she didn't understand the threat.

I don't really watch the show, but I have been in the room a few times when Sarah was watching it, and all the girls sincerely seem to like Howie. I don't know what Volourn is talking about.

Obsidian put out one game, and was in a tough situation. Usually the publisher doesn't run out of money or close its doors during production on a major title, but it happened none the less. LucasArts also demanded that certain threads be closed when Obsidian was talking about a content patch. Obsidian wanted to support the game with a content and movie patch. It would appear LucasArts decided to crush both of those. And Hades wants to blame Obsidian repeatedly despite knowing better. Just because he is bitter, that doesn't mean that Obsidian is really at fault here.
