Okay Game 2 is well underway. Detroit is shooting 35% from the field, and 56% from the stripe. Detroit is still playing good D, but they can't win unless they can score. Is LA making good defensive adjustments or was Game 1 a better than usual offensive night for Detroit?

Fallout let you control how verbose battles were. I dug that.

I don't care for QT in general. His movies are another thing. I liked both parts of Kill Bill, but they were very different. Vol 1 had these extreme sounds effects, 70's throw-backs, and tons of action. Vol 2 was surreal, metaphorical, and more dialogue and character driven. When it came to tone, pacing, sound and even visuals, they were quite different. If you throw those two together, they'd be disjointed.

You've discarded my advice in the past, but I'll offer it up again anyway. I'm bored. I think you're going to get people here to goad you. If you are serious about this mod, then go work on it. Setting yourself up for flames here isn't helping you any. You mention large scale mods for Quake and such. They providing tools and a built in scripting language. I've never seen a large scale total conversion mod like you're suggesting ever be made for a game that didn't have editting tools. You've got quite a daunting task ahead of you. Have fun. The very fact that the team debated trying to rewrite the game to incorporate Soul Caliber two elements tells me everything I ever need to know about this mod.

I dug the double-saber and Maul. I think he was really underused. However, your entitled to your opinion. If you didn't like it, you didn't like it. I though Maul was one of the saving graces of Episode 1. I also contend that he is not evil. You'd be hard pressed to argue that he's evil.

The Star Trek property may be seeing a small resurgence as people are trying to save the Enterprise show. However, the games haven't sold and Activision did in fact sue Viacom.

I think a Shadowrun game could blend single player, and party elements. You can have a character in your party who is a Decker. Occassioanlly that character branches off and does their stuff. The same with the Rigger, etc.

I know Obsidian has another idea they'd like to develop as their next project. However, if the FO license was feasible, I'd really like to see that project get bumped back. I want to see Obsidian do a new IP, don't get me wrong. But jump on FO if you can, and do the new IP after that.

Didn't you discover the plotline that an army of cloned Bastillas is hanging out on the Star Forge? Occasionally I slept with one, and beheaded the other.

Renegade, I'm not arguing the evil intent of attacking first vs. defending yourself. Imagine this. I attack you out of the blue. You defend yourself. That's all fine and dandy. In Star Wars you can even defend yourself with a lightsaber. We're still all fine and dandy. But if you defend yourself with a force choke, or zap me, then you get dark side points. That I don't understand.

I don't doubt it. As I played through the game with a Soldier/Guardian with a heavy emphasis on combat feats, I never found any challenge in combat. My girlfriend played as a Scoundrel/Consular and found a lot of challenge.
