  1. I can recommend some medications.
  2. I can't say I've tried Guild Wars. Then again, I can't say that I want to. Combat looks too simple, and the game doesn't seem to have much of a point other than free, online play. I'd rather play a mud or wait for NWN:2.
  3. It's not true LIVE-ACTION ROLEPLAYING unless I get to play rock-paper-scissors.
  4. I caught that you were specifically talking about Stephen King. I think Jordan is really guilty of it as well. I'll try to avoid spoilers. But in one particular book, the good guys stand around and recap for the first 150-200 pages. No joke. They know right from the beginning that two people are kidnapped. The villian says, "meet me here, and we'll resolve things". For the next 600 pages, they do random things and avoid that location for no particular reason. Then for no particular reason, they finally go to said location, hero releases generic balefire and passes out. Good triumphs while the conflict isn't written (the hero keeps passing out) and we move on to the next book.
  5. Morrowind is either a love/hate thing. If you have an XBox, I recommend renting Morrowind: Game of the Year. If you like it, then buy it.
  6. I thought that was PoR:2.
  7. Hades, are you the gate keeper?
  8. It can do things wrong. It can crash, pull up the wrong data, etc.
  9. I wanna try the Gothic series some time. I can't say that I've ever seen a Gothic game on the shelves however.
  10. I try to be a very nice guy in real life. Yet, nothing is so fun in the world as playing a real scumbag in GTA:SA.
  11. Revan and the Exile should knit you a Force scarf.
  12. So seeing people standing around, and doing nothing constitutes a solid cut scene movie? KOTOR:1 had no real ending to speak of. Once the bad guy was defeated, you don't discover anything new. There is no epilogue. And the dark side movie shows Bastilla there after you kill her. Some ending. You are entitled to your opinion, but I seriously don't understand what is good about the KOTOR ending.
  13. So neutral just means equal-opportunity-slaughter?
  14. The games are near identical. Do you intend to install mods? And which interface do you prefer? Do you prefer having a controller, or a mouse in hand?
  15. I have to echo the sentiments that Bioware is FAR from being the master of single player RPG storyline. Name 3 characters in KOTOR:1 who have better dialogue and storylines than characters from KOTOR:2.
  16. You can play grey to an extent in both games. They may not have an ending movie for grey players, but you can temper your decisions in the game with a grey mindset. And Kreia is a bit of a grey, though she has a very different outlook than Jolee.
  17. My buddy has no problems with his copy. I don't know if it's his DVD drive or his disc. I plan on swapping them for a while and testing that theory. I'll check my disc when I get home.
  18. That's what I'm talking about. In Shadowrun, your body is a physical conduit for the magical energy you channel. So every spell you cast, you roll for drain, and it can physically harm, if not kill you.
  19. The GuildMaster is well aware that plenty of people think the avatar size is too small. And he has stated that they have no intention of changing said size.
  20. Haven't watched the Extended Edition yet.
  21. Nothing that far out, though we are both Star Wars geeks. It will probably be an outdoor autumn wedding akin to the wedding from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
  22. Depends on what we do for the wedding. I really like my old-world style formal tux, and was planning on wearing that. But if it doesn't match the theme/style of the wedding and/or her dress, I may need a new one.
  23. I don't know if they mark it with the poison symbol, you but need a hazmat form, and a material data safety sheet for the syrup. I know that from working as a server.
  24. I take it you've read Robert Jordan?
