  1. That was a brilliant thread. Oh, how I miss it.
  2. We're not debating who will win market share, but rather the technical merits of the hardware.
  3. There was a really awesome site for Shadowrun back in the day where each player could have personal pages that represented their spot on the Net, as well as chronicle areas, chat rooms, dice rollers, etc. http://shadowland.org/
  4. Right now it looks like 10 players interested and I wasn't planning on more than 8, so I'm taking the first 8 who get my character sheets and can commit to the time frame. Tomorrow we can try to get together at 6:00 pm (GMT -6), but I don't expect all the players show up just yet, so we may only handle preludes and linking players together.
  5. Paul Kariya, Eric Lindros, and Mark Messier are all big names that I think are past their prime. Kariya was a big bust in Colorado and I don't think they will attempt to resign him.
  6. Probably between GSN, the Travel Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, etc.
  7. I have updated the original post with a new link to the Anarch book, and some character/player info. I'm still waiting to hear back from players to see if Friday afternoons (GMT -6) will work for everyone.
  8. Blind, narcoleptic parapalegics dance better than I.
  9. I normally use MIRC, which I believe is Shareware. But I rarely use IRC.
  10. I prefer to just get them in my Gmail account because I have boatloads of storage there.
  11. Notepad is fine, and I prefer to get the sheets by email. I don't have a whole lot of room to store PMs forever.
  12. Anything with that should be readily available is fine. Illegal weapons without resources, or appropriate influence is another story. That is where backgrounds come into the game.
  13. How about some of us try to get together to handle preludes tomorrow at 6 pm (GMT -6)?
  14. We're not just talking about pure floating point performance. We're talking great color depth, and twice as many pixel shader operations per second as well. Add to that we know that as an end-result, Sony says the machine can put out two 1080p images, where as the 360 can only put out one 720p image. Whether or not the PS3 is "twice" as powerful as the 360 isn't really debatable. The only debate is whether or not that power will be utilized, and given the number of developers in Sony's corner, why should we really believe it won't be?
  15. Time of Thin Blood
  16. The keyboard on this laptop is getting pretty bad as well. I just couldn't let the faux paus slip by.
  17. Said quotes have been thrown in his face several times and he continues to lie.
  18. LOINHeart? Sounds like my type of game. :darque:
  19. I have a saber chain-gun.
  20. Rockstar does have a really good sense of humor.
  21. IBM said the Xenon was based of PPC (PC technology) and that they planned on releasing the Xenon as the next-gen Mac processor. Microsoft has outright said that it is a general processor, which Sony has hit upon. Microsoft defends the decision to use a general processor as the XBox will do more than game, yet Sony's processor is dedicated to gaming. Epiphany not only lies, but he has no clue what he is talking about.
  22. I second everything Eru said.
  23. Kate Winslet for the win!
  24. It was pretty good. I sent an email back.
  25. I think Kiera is cut, but way too skinny.
