There are plenty of books starting to come out dealing more with the Prequel Era, so not all of the books deal with post-Endor. However only comics really deal with the KOTOR era, however the comics are quite good.
I still don't understand how a FPS can in any way properly represent the genre.
How are Physical Adepts, Shamans, Mages, Deckers, Riggers or most any of the characters represented in such a game?
It does seem like a whole lot of new mods considering how little conversation is here. We got by with fewer mods when we had far more conversations and traffic.
I think this is way too general of a question. Can you attack at the same time? Can you kill in a single attack?
If speed renders your own defense obsolete by allowing you to destroy anything before it can threaten you, that definately tips the scales.
In most games however I tend towards defensive builds and prefer them.
I may just allow a tenth player, but I want a session with all nine players first and see how hectic it is and then decide if I can allow another one. It may already be pretty hectic.
I wouldn't say a handheld has too small a screen for an RPG.
Graphics don't matter as much in an RPG, so small screens are fine. The DS also may be best suited for an RPG since the second screen can be used for inventory and messages at all times.
The GBA already has quite a few good RPGs actually.
