  1. Good to hear the case seems good! Chances growing I'll get one of these too. The X CPUs are from the "Extreme"-Line, standing for "Extremely high prices" I never bothered looking up anything about them, so I can't help there. Once again the same warning: Overclocking (if it works ) results in higher power usage, results in bigger heat, results in more noise created when cooling the parts. Anyway, if the 1600 version has the same latencies as the 1333, it should far better usable for overclocking, meaning that you can push its frequency up to 1600 without losing data access speed.
  2. Sure, but it does exist now, so no sense in denying its existence, is there.
  3. They aren't dual, so the Ram is available in its entiety. If it's just the RAM that matters, why not getting a much cheaper less power hungry card with 1 GB? Or does speed matter as well? (I.e. is your CG stuff processed by the card or the CPU?)
  4. Cumulative? More criminals into the military then!
  5. Influenced by spore? Sure, if the can make it fit, it'll be fine by me...
  6. Yes. They have to because both chips address their share of the memory. This could change with the HD4xxx version of dual-chip graphics cards, but probably only one generation later.
  7. What is the difference in possible outcomes?
  8. Look, I value the willingness of discussing such matters. What now lacks is opening for discussion from your side. It seems important to you that it's the jews, called by the word that has inevitably become provocative: "zionists", who started it all. I should have stopped reading right here. Generalizations ftl. That "explanation" is supposed by the authors of this booklet. Does that make it a fact? It just shows that what they constructed as general stance is wrong, not that the general stance is wrong... Says who? "What really happened" = "look, WE tell you the thruth. Now that paragraph does sound like facts, and does display a problem - agreed. Why not building an informative booklet on facts instead of truth claims. Again: You mix truths (call "anti-semitism" comes too fast) with claims and exclamations that make it very hard to discuss on a meaningful level. Metaphorical, but ok. So here it comes again... You keep telling yourself that, seems to be a comfortable lie to live in and justify the anger against a land/religion/people (pick whatever is appropriate for your current cause). Why aren't you answering DeadlyNightshade's question about the past of supposed "palestine"? Why not elaborate on the Arabs' (and other Muslims') stance on the palestinians before it became so fashionable to use them as an excuse for disregarding the right of existence - or the existence itself! - of Israel? And why do you try to "awake" us now, that it is generally accepted, that Israel and a palestinian state should coexist (as propagated by your sig)?
  9. Why does that make you proud? That's the only way to legally answer to such a situation.
  10. Well now, there we have it. The rumors were right for once, and ATI's done better on its new midrange than could be expected. I'm looking forward to the "rest of the launch" at 25th for some tech details It does run very hot indeed, it seems, so there's almost certainly no chance for a passively cooled version (@Gorth). As for Mass Effect: the guys at bit-tech ran it with all options up on a 8800Ultra, an overclocked dual core (how fast?) (what resolution?) and got a constant 30fps+, so that can be expected from the 4850, too.

  12. But... I always liked compsognathus&co. I mean, if they put dinosaurs in, I want everything from compsognathus to ultrasaurus, and I want to play a baryonyx. It's just anachronistic in this setting imo, no matter what the MM or FRCS says. Just like musketes, that do exist in Far

If you don't commit, the transaction is likely going to either cause a deadlock or be killed if the dbms is smart enough. well, listening to Lamb - Ear Parcel [edit]f*** jokes only I get. Currently searching my HD or alternatively my CDs for Oasis - Gas Panic... [edit2]It wouldn't cause a deadlock anyway but rather starvation. Bad day.
  16. I wish they wouldn't include dinosaurs
  17. Yes, definitely
  18. Oh no... my least liked DnD-creatures ever are going to make it in the game. Lame I dislike them in DnD mainly because I like them in completely different settings like RL Jurassic Park or The Dinos. Totally not in DnD or any other Fantasy surroundings however.
