  1. what exactly are you saying? you rehashed facts that everyone already knows and then stated an open ended question as a hypothesis.
  2. I agree. Especially because of one line in the trailer (of course I might be reading too much in to it). It goes something like "will he (refering to the PC) be able to re-establish the Jedi order, or will he join the ranks of the Sith"
  3. yet have time to make over 700 posts on the internet
  4. That was the whole point of her character. She was supposed to be (using Canderous' comment) a Jedi princess. In that respect, I thought she was a great character, because I completely went for the whole stuck up/do what i say/i can't do wrong attitude. It was sort of like Princess Leia when she was first rescued. She didn't exactly thank Han and Luke, and started giving orders.
  5. Unless I'm way off, I think Chris Avellone is in charge of writing the story (don't castrate me if I'm wrong CMA) My guess is LucasArts gives him a broad topic to write about, basically telling him what he CAN'T include, then they lock him away and let him do his thing.
  6. 34 people actually voted yes for this idea? *hopes he wasn't one of them*
  7. saber whip is a better suggestion than the ones in this thread
  8. The picture in his signature? I don't think he looks anything like Luke
  9. why are you giving Obsidian orders about what they should include or add to the game?
  10. apparently my own grammar goes to hell just by posting in this thread
  11. why do all these threads keep popping up? why is it so hard to comprehend that the "last KNOWN jedi" doesn't necessarily mean the LAST Jedi? why is it so difficult for people to take that statement meaning that the Sith think you're the last Jedi, but in fact, there are probably more out there? i can't believe how many people on this board are fixated on the phrase "last known jedi" and then say how dumb or how much it sucks because there has to be other jedi out there. geez. i'm so frustrated that i didn't even make sense in my explanation about why these kinds of posts are pointless. note: this isn't directed at the original post or poster per se, but at the recurring theme of these types of posts where people seem dumbfounded at the idea that "last known jedi" implies much more than it actually does.
  12. wow. just wow. if i didn't (note: combination of did not) read this with my own eyes i would have not believed it.
  13. Just curious, but is it really that difficult to make sense? I mean, spelling errors happen when you rush a post. Improper grammar happens at times. Either the school systems nowadays are in shambles, or people are just too lazy to read their post one time before pressing "add reply".
  14. you just ruined the ending of Double Dragon for me!!!
  15. The problem with the SW universe is there are so many various "occupations" that exist in it that it'd be impossible to actually make a game that incorporates every one of them. Some people want to be smugglers. But then if that was added, others might want to be professional mercenaries. Then if that is added some people might want to be doctors (like in the MedStar duology). and so on. For the scope of KOTOR and KOTOR:TSL, I don't think it would make too much sense allowing you to be a smuggler any more than it would make sense for them to put the option in to be a full time mercenary for hire or for them to put the option to be a full time bounty hunter. Don't get me wrong. I would personally LOVE to be able to play the role of a smuggler, or a merc, or a bounty hunter, or even a down-on-his-luck thief. But to add all that in the context of this specific game would be a monumental undertaking to say the least. IMO (and this is where I think Bioware/LA dropped the ball), these various other "career choices" would have been perfect for expansion packs.
  16. quoted for irony from the guy who goes ballistic when the topic of how good/bad the prequel trilogy has been.
  17. IMO, if they kill Revan, it'll be a stupid decision. Reason why is, for me, if they didn't want the Revan character involved in the story, then they should have just not had him involved at all. period. i don't see the point in bringing a popular character back from the first game, only to use his death to portray how "dark" the second game is. it seems rather pety and unimaginative. it would be an indication that they couldn't come up with their own way to portray a dark story without resorting to killing off a character that Bioware built. Of course this is just my personal feeling, but IMO the only two options Obsidian should really contemplate are 1)leave Revan out of the story completely or 2)Include Revan somehow, but keep him alive by the end of it.
  18. LS apprentice. i'm tired of all the "omg look how kewl it would b 2 have a apprantise 2 kill peeps n stuff".
  19. says who? I do. B) shush you.
  20. that's two straight posts of yours that are better suited to the "suggestions" forum. and i must say, i have no clue what you're talking about in this one.
  21. story for me. if i can't get in to the story, i can't get in to the game.
