I forgot about that...but I wouldn't mind a minigame with the bottom turret...at least they wouldn't shoot like crackpots... I always hated it when the ships were in your blind spot and the gun wouldn't go down far enough. the turret game was rather boring.

I already gave my reasons why I don't think this theory would work in the other thread. But I gotta admit it's an...interesting...theory to say the least.

how so? was Empire Strikes Back just a copy of A New Hope? Many people thought ESB was better than ANH. Depending on how the story is implemented, the fact that a continuation of the old story into the new one doesn't make it just a copy.

Because, based on the first game, he's seen as the "star" of the KOTOR series. It'd be a lot like Luke Skywalker after A New Hope. People would no doubt expect him to be the "star" of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It's slightly different because this time we don't control Revan, but Revan's STORY is still the one that has the greatest effect on the series. I'm not saying that's right or wrong, but I'm guessing that's why a lot of people (myself included) would welcome Revan being a major part of TSL.

Devs, Once your part (Obsidian's part) is complete, what is left for LucasArts to do before the game can be shipped?

Whats your obsession with hitting people? Atris is a Jedi so maybe you meet her on Onderon trying to help the queen stop the unrest so that the republic can count on that planet for more soldiers. I doubt Atris is the queen though That got me to thinking, along the lines of the original poster, but what if instead of the QUEEN being Atris, it's actually her DAUGHTER. It would make what the original poster suggest more feasible where the PC is asked to help out the queen with a problem of hers and in return, Atris swears her loyalty to the PC and agrees to join him/her.

Problem is that would qualify as quite a BIG plot twist, and from most interviews, Obsidian has said there isn't going to be a major plot twist like there was in KOTOR. It would also cause problems with the game because assuming your theory is correct, then Kreia would have BOTH Revan and Bastila's abilities and thus be one of, if not THE, most powerful Jedi in the game. And considering we meet up with her early in the game, it'd seem rather weird to have a level 1 PC hanging out with a level 30 (or whatever they have the max set at) Jedi.

I picked Mira because she's a bounty hunter and I think a bounty hunter would have quite an interesting sidequest. Plus her wrist rocket launcher is something new and looks interesting to use.

I can't see Bastila being Kreia. Kreia's an old coot (kinda like Hades ), whereas Bastila was supposed to be early 20's in KOTOR1. I doubt a 20-something women in prime physical condition would age in 5 years to look like Kreia, especially if you play through a LS ending (meaning the DS effects on "aging" wouldn't happen).

That's why Hades_One hates everything about KOTOR. He's used to playing games like Pong.

I hope we don't have to preorder the game. I hate preordering and would rather just walk in to the store on the day it's released and pick up a copy.

At this point, I'd have to vote for "better". I can't vote "far superior" until I know what the story is like. So far, all the new additions and stuff has got me excited. It LOOKS like it'll be a better game. But until the story is known (obviously it won't be known until release), I can't say it'll be superior.

They had Calo Nord in the first one. Unfortunately, he gets killed off right away before the game is even half over.

I've used Canderous, Jolee, and Juhani. I never really outfitted my two droids with much firepower, so I was worried they'd be underpowered. Mission and Zaalbar were relogated to housekeeping duty aboard the Ebon Hawk after we left Taris.

Some truths are seen from a certain point of view. And from a certain point of view, Yoda was his master because Yoda was a Jedi Master on the council and Obi-wan took his instructions from the council.

From an article posted on the starwars.com forum, it was stated that the way you answer the questions will have a BIG impact on the way the story plays out, inferring that the story will differ quite a bit depending on how the FOUR endings worked out (DS male, DS female, LS male, LS female). That's why I think Revan's going to have a major role. Having said that, I'm not saying that Revan will be a playable character, or will be the endboss. I'm just saying that it's a fairly good guess that his role will have a major impact on the storyline somehow. And because of the above article about how you answered the question will make the game play differently, it makes me think even moreso that Revan will play a large role because it covers all angles. You played Revan as a female? Good. If you tell the game that, when you meet Revan she'll be female. Played Revan as a DS male? Same thing, you meet him, he's an evil looking man. Obviously I could be completely wrong, but IMO, it's almost a given that Revan will have a large role in the game. What that role is, well, that's another story.
