  1. Did he change it from its original state to now have Heyden Christensen as one of the Ewoks?
  2. To me, when I hear someone say they want more levels, they remind me of those gamers who get stoked over punching in cheat codes that make characters "indestructable" or "unlimited firepower" and think that it's fun to run around like you're superman. Not my type of gaming.
  3. Yes it's important to me. Not in the sense where KOTOR2 serves as a "wrap up" for the events and characters of KOTOR1, but more in the sense that anything established in KOTOR1 should be acknowledged and unchanged. For instance, in KOTOR1 with the LS ending the Star Forge is destroyed. So in KOTOR2, if you tell the game it was a LS ending, I want the continuity kept where we don't see the Star Forge still up and running for no apparent reason. I don't think it's that difficult to keep continuity and at the same time tell a story about different characters and different events, but in the same Star Wars universe.
  4. I hate to repeat myself again, but you're wrong about it being "more official" than most EU novels. I'd suggest you check out the official forums and check the books and comic section. There's a link to a site that has, what most insiders regard, as the most ACCURATE explanation of the different levels of "canon", and where each book, game, comic, short story, movie, cartoon, etc. fits in terms of which "out ranks" which. You'll find that what you're saying is absolutely false. I'll grant you that, yes, TotJ "trumps" KOTOR in terms of which is more "canon" (unless Lucas himself says that the KOTOR events trump TotJ), but TotJ is not any more canon than ANY of the EU novels.
  5. There were obviously a bunch of existing Sith before Revan and Malak went to the DS. So obviously those Sith would still be at large during the whole Star Forge debacle.
  6. uh....yeah...ok.
  7. I don't think so. I mean, KOTOR was popular even though no one knew what it was about (until they played it), so I think new fans will approach TSL the same way.
  8. It'll attract just as many "new" fans as KOTOR did to attract fans.
  9. Actually, Vader was referred to as Dark Lord of the Sith as well.
  10. I gotta agree with Adria on this one. Although there are some existing planets I'd like to see, I think it'd make the game more "original" if it had all new planets.
  11. nope. this is to see how many xbox gamers are hypocrites if they, themselves "whine" about getting the shaft if, in fact, the PC version gets additional content.
  12. I've enjoyed most of the EU novels I've read. I guess it's just a matter of opinion. Stackpole's also one of the better authors I've read (along with Stover, Alston and Zahn), so I can't agree with your assessment of him.
  13. Even with the poor post structure, yes I did read everything. And my opinion still stands that it makes no sense to keep allowing a level up, even if you increase the ability of the enemies.
  14. Watching Atton walk out on "set" in drag would be kind of.....weird.
  15. Still no. I don't see the big thing with having some ultra powerful character that's rediculously leveled up. To me, that's pretty cheap. You were already extremely powerful and pretty much unbeatable at the end of KOTOR with a level 20, so what's the point in being allowed to become even more powerful if it doesn't actually affect the game?
  16. No. Those stupid "no level limit" games are retarded. And my eyes hurt after reading that one big jumbled post.
  17. Just out of curiosity, so you're saying you cared more for the FO2 NPCs? If so, what exactly did you like about them? IMO, they had very little "characterization" to them. No real backstory. I never felt compelled to talk to them or learn more about them. They were simply "hired guns" for me to tote along when I needed a bit more firepower. I'm just curious what it was about them that interested you.
  18. nasty revan kissed his mommy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> but him kissing his father isn't nasty? Are you from Arkansas by chance?
  19. I have no life so I waste time until I die on here.
  20. Worst argument ever. The fact that people DID like the original movies suggests why they're posting so passionately about it. People speak up and voice their opinion when something DOES matter to them. So to shoot down someone else's point of view by saying "if you don't like it, tough" is a rather weak comeback. The fact is Lucas ruined, for many people, one of their favorite movie trilogies growing up. And he's done so in a manner where he comes across as arrogant to the same fans who made him famous in the first place. That's what people are angry about.
  21. Bastila, based purely on her breasts.
  22. Was it released in Japan first? That would explain the use of "young girls" as a theme. *vending machines selling school girl undies*
  23. It would be rather ironic if the PC version has extra content and then the US XBox users complained about it being "unfair" after giving us a hard time about "whining" about an early release. Personally, I hope it happens.
  24. In plain english, this villain in the story liked little girls? Or were you being tongue-in-cheek in some way?
  25. "Revan. I am your mother!" by Bastila "Revan. I am your father!" also by Bastila
