I actually went in prepared and with a lightsaber against Vrook on easy gameplay mode and he still cut me down twice. My dumb ass forgot to change lightsaber style to the one that has "+against jedi".

INT is pretty important. The second time around I only have 10 INT and im a guardian/sith marauder. Every item I breakdown on the workbench is only worth 1 component part because I have 0 reapir skills. Being able to get a ton of components to be able to create stronger lightsaber parts is huge.

I finished the game last night as a lightside male and the first thing that came to my mind was, "Thats it?". KOTOR gave me a sense of accomplishment after I beat it. I'm still not sure what I accomplished at the end of KOTOR2. The only reason I can come up with as to why they ended KOTOR2 the way it did, is to set up a sequal where all the questions from KOTOR2 get answered in KOTOR3.

When you beat the game you will ask your self, "what just happened?"

I need access to the main power but i cant find the access codes anywhere. ive run around all over the place on this stupid yacht and i cant find these codes anywhere. can anyone help my get off this thing?

Gamespots review was dead on. The graphics actually look a little uglier than KOTOR1. The framerate plummets down into the single digits more often than KOTOR1 did. Every fight and I do mean every fight I have gotten into turns into a chop fest. Not smooth at all. The AI is horrrrrrible. My whole party almost got whiped out on Telos because they would just go off and kill stuff right after we just got done with a pretty intense battle. I had no control over my party members. They would just run up to mobs and start fighting when I had 0 force points left and no time to do any healing with med packs. Those are my two biggest gripes so far and i'm about 10 hours in. Other than the problems I mentioned before, the game is great, especially the story. Quick Notes: I miss my lightsaber. You go a long time without one. Skills play a much bigger role in this game. Whats up with Sith Mask Guy's voice? hahahah

You guys are acting like an 8.5 is a bad score. I can't wait to play this.

My first time through Taris took me about 10 hours. 4 Hours without a lightsaber is cake.

Looks like I'll have to actually have an intelligence above 8.

Maybe they will make it so that you actually have to have the dual wielding feat to properly wield a double bladed lightsaber.

There should be ratings for videogames and I'm glad some stores strictly enforce them. As for dismemberment in Star Wars, when an arm/head/hand gets hacked off with a lightsaber there is no blood since the blade is so hot the wound instantly cauterizes. But I can't explain Episode IV when there is blood after Obi-Wan hacks that dudes arm off. Lets just call is lucas's lack of continuity. Regular swords on the other hand is a whole different ball game. Showing dismemberment without getting too graphic would be tough and get awfully close to the M rating. Having an M rated Star Wars video game would be like having an R rated Star Wars movie, it would be unnecessary and would never happen. Remember, Star Wars is for the kiddies.
