i like the traditional look of the single bladed lightsaber with a green crystal.

i'd go with green with orange being a close second. i tried using the silver crystal and it just looked way too plain.

id have to go with that nikko guy that plays pazak in the cantina of iziz. dude looks like he got smashed across the face with frying pan.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell yes. Alan Rickman has played some of the most charismatic villians. That's all I want, some villian who is charismatic and doesn't sound forced when being evil.

The ending because it was so abrupt and dissapointing. After reading all these posts it made me realise how funny the obsidian writers are. There were a ton funny moments in this game.

played through twice and never saw a bronze saber crystal. i have come to the conclusion that i hate random items. if i want to play as a dark jedi i want to wear dark jedi robes. i dont want to hope that i get dark jedi robes.

I know why he turned to the darkside. He couldn't stand the constant nagging from that old crow. I wanted to go darkside the first time I played the game as a light jedi.

For once I would like an ultimate Sith Lord whose voice isn't trying so hard to sound like a villian. Maybe have him sound like a regular human but not too campy, not forced. A perfect example would be Chrstopher Lee. He has a deep voice but its naturally intimidating.

One word. Galaxies.

Why Vader is a bad ass: 1. "I find your lack of faith disturbing." He can force-choke from long-distance! 2. "Impressive." He's got lightsaber skills, but not many powers -- Anakin musta been a guardian before going Sith Lord? 3. Clothes make the man, so does his voice. The making of Episode III included with the OT boxset almost makes me want to watch it..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> His lightsaber skills dont impress me at all. Mainly because of the poor fighting choreography during the time of those flicks. Which is unfair I know, but oh well, deal with it.

I dunno if those count. Dark Jedi, yeah. Sith-wannabes, yeah. But True Sith? Nope, that, I think, is true for the KOTOR games and Star Wars movies only (through I'm not the expert here). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, if you wanna get technical the movies and KOTOR series never include the true sith.

All I know is im not impressed from watching Vader in the OT. Same goes for the emporer. Sure he was able to conquer the galaxy and such but thats all mastermind kind of stuff. I want to see fighting abilities. You don't become the most successfull sith lord ever just from being smart. You gotta be able to throw down if need be. Hopefully episode III will change all that since it is rumored that he will be dishing out several cans of whoop ass on the jedi.

Me too. That is why I really dig the New Jedi Order books.

KOTOR2 improves greatly from the original. Better looking jedi robes, prestige classes, the use of skills, the workbench, darker atmosphere. All great improvements. With that said, there are a ton of annoying problems with KOTOR2. The story is ok, but it doesn't flow very coherently. The framerate is a complete nightmare at certain points in the game. There is a lot of good stuff here but there are also a ton of problems. In the end, I prefer KOTOR2.

Seriously. Without Jedi, Star Wars is pretty boring. I don't care about x-wing fighter pilots, smugglers or bounty hunters. Give me some lightsabers and someone who can use the force.

There are two keys to creating top of the line lightsaber upgrades. 1. Make sure your PC has a repair skill of atleast 5. This will allow you to have a higher number of components after breaking down high end items. If you are having trouble with this equip your character with items that give "+" to repair skills. 2. Always create items on a workbench using Bao or T3. They have the highest skills. Also, Kreia can make some lightsaber upgrade items that others can't. I forget what exactly the component is but I discovered this as I was experimenting with the workbench and item creating. I believe it's some kind of lens.

I don't know if Ulic can be considered a Sith Lord. Revan was redeemed or not redeemed, the choice was yours. Ulic, however, was for sure brought back to the light. I don't know if you consider him a temporary Sith Lord. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If thats the case then Kyp Durron wasn't a sith lord.

This game is 10 times easier than KOTOR. Once you get a prestige class you are unstoppable.

I couldn't wait to play again as a sith just so I could tell Kreia off and gut her with my lightsaber. Also, Darth Nihilus. When I first saw this guy I thought to my self "This is one bad mother". Has a creepy mask. Speaks in some bizarre alien dialect. Dude can whipe out massive amounts of jedi and obliterate entire planets from just using the force. Yet, he falls after one swing from my lightsaber. What the EFF?

Yeah I came across this problem as well. I wasn't aware that the PC has to have a high repair skill inorder to get a decent amount of components from breaking down items. I created a guardian with 10 INT and 0 repair, it sucks. I have to equip an exchange utility belt that gives me +3 repair skills just to get any component value greater than 1 from breaking down items. I guess I gotta waste a feat level up on getting "repair cross class ability". BOOOOOOO :angry:

I have no doubt in my mind there will be a sequal. I don't think the developers are stupid enough to end it the way they did and not have a sequal.

I know your PC's repair skill determines how many components the item can be broken into. Regardless of who is using the workbench. It sucks ass if you have 0 Repair skills and 10 INT. *cough* Like me. :angry:
