  1. And don't forget Star Trek 25th anniversary and Judgment Rites! Interplay in their prime were immense - no question about that. But past their peak they were simply awful. And now they're just a joke. A joke with rats. Rats living in Herve's pants.
  2. Only a botched transistor IIRC. But yeah, most pre-release cards are gimped to cash out on graphics whores...well, like Bok. "
  3. Did you look at the box in the picture? It clearly says 8800GTX. And Quadro's are workstation cards. They aren't meant for games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He probably means OEM, Deraldin. Although nothing beats oc'd BFGs.
  4. Which is a shame really, because the camera was flexible enough to offer good isometric style views.
  5. Just remember to export your SoU char into HotU, Darque.
  6. There was party control in the KotORs? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Technically, yes. But only because it was better than the "party control" system in FO aka "Hey Marcus/Ian - Burst some of that minigun/submachine gun ammo in my back why wont' yah!"
  7. And since when did MMO's have stories? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They do Kaft...but they're like the Wendersnaven. :D
  8. Micromanaging could have actually worked in the KotORs if there was a dummy mode like in NWN2. That way, we might have been able to strategically position them without them instantly running back towards the selected character. <_<
  9. Mass Effect Dragon Age Obsidian's RPG Fallout 3 (as long as it's not Morrowind with Guns)
  10. As a series of games, NWN can't be beat. Yeah, it's even better than FF.
  11. Dear God, Surrep - no one should be forced to rely solely on IGN. http://www.gamespot.com
  12. Guys, guys! When you pick a dialogue option in a cRPG half the fun is seeing how the NPC will react. But with ME, we're treated to the surprise of seeing how our PC will react as well - double the trouble, double the fun! As long as our PC doesn't go Brokeback on us.
  13. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome FTW!1
  14. Only in your mind, young Padawan learner.
  15. Looks cool, Jorian. What exactly was your role in this team, by the way?
  16. I really have no idea how you can rate massively flawed games like Baldurs Gate and Fallout 2 as being perfect. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Massively flawed? Hell no! Those are among the best cRPGs I've played to date. In fact, I can't think of any cRPG that allows to randomly explore areas on the world map better than BG and FO2.
  17. Hilarious! Especially the 4th one!
  18. Even dirty muck Harbormen?
  19. Definitely. Also, a Potion of Invisibility if you need to grind out the time for his Frenzied Beserker to wear off.
  20. Hades, make sure all the power attack modes are toggled off so you can actually hit Lorne. You'll do less damage per hit, but you'll hit him much more consistently. Also, notice that your PC is still "in the party" even whilst Khelgar is in the ring. So all you have to do is transfer over that uber health elixer that Sand conjured up for you from your PC's inventory over to Khelgar's. :D (pause game-->select PC portrait-->type I-->drag potion and whatever else over Khelgar's portrait-->pimp Khelgar out with bling equipment (note: you can't change armors in a fight)-->unpause game) Voila!
  21. she became my girlfriend 11 years later <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It must have been a long chase. :D
  22. Whether that's true or not, Mes, that conclusion is just a knee-jerk reaction. This opinion would carry much more weight after the game is released and you've actually played it. Prejudging a game by the way it "looks" is similar to discriminating against a person without getting to know them - sure, it's easy, but it's also somewhat shallow.
  23. I'll give it a very decent 7.5.
  24. ZOMG...KENT B! Seriously, what do you folks make of this? Is this just the another step in the hypersensitivity of "sexual harassment"? It's seems that these days you have to watch your mouth and look over your shoulder lest a female colleague "overhear" a joke and file a suit. Alternatively could this some expedited contortion of the Oedipus Complex or something? And no, we can't ask Jesus, lol.
