  1. One could argue that only serves to exaggerate the problem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Misery loves company. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, that sounds bad Still playing NWN2. Trying to make that treacherous wench Elanee stay in my party this time <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wait - Elanee can leave? When, where, how?
  2. There's no such thing as future-proofing in this hobby. You'll get the same usual six months (or less) before the hardware is second best once again.
  3. Poor dolphins Good on you Chinese Pepperami Man!
  4. Don't mess with Kiro-San. He has pirate and ninja skills! Yarr...Ha-do-ken!
  5. Interesting! Perhaps Hades needs to do some Paladin sucking-up so he can get Cas to smite evil Lorne whilst laying on hands with good 'ol divine shield.
  6. Do any of them besides the K-man actually volunteer to take your place? You know, as meat-shields for Lorne and all?
  7. Woohoo! Allez les Bleus!
  8. Incidentally, which NPCs did you guys have show up the night before your Lorne bout? In my game I had Elanee (wanting to run away with me away from civilization), Sand (conjuring up the uber potion), Shandra (just for kicks...and maybe concern), and of course Khelgar (volunteering his dwarven self). But what's this about Neeshka showing up, Muso? I've always heard that bitch Qara can show up, but you know, she never like left the Sunken Flagon (until higher levels when she became an uber sorc ).
  9. Some would say it's already within our limits as there are sucky games which stink and tacky ones in poor taste. "
  10. NWN2 is bad game to test systematic benchmarks on, because well...it pretty much sucks on every rig. Bad engine coding no doubt. Now Oblivion's a fairly demanding game where you can actually see sizable differences through alternating hardware and in-game graphics settings.
  11. And don't forget Star Trek 25th anniversary and Judgment Rites! Interplay in their prime were immense - no question about that. But past their peak they were simply awful. And now they're just a joke. A joke with rats. Rats living in Herve's pants.
  12. Only a botched transistor IIRC. But yeah, most pre-release cards are gimped to cash out on graphics whores...well, like Bok. "
  13. Did you look at the box in the picture? It clearly says 8800GTX. And Quadro's are workstation cards. They aren't meant for games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He probably means OEM, Deraldin. Although nothing beats oc'd BFGs.
  14. Which is a shame really, because the camera was flexible enough to offer good isometric style views.
  15. Just remember to export your SoU char into HotU, Darque.
  16. There was party control in the KotORs? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Technically, yes. But only because it was better than the "party control" system in FO aka "Hey Marcus/Ian - Burst some of that minigun/submachine gun ammo in my back why wont' yah!"
  17. And since when did MMO's have stories? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They do Kaft...but they're like the Wendersnaven. :D
  18. Micromanaging could have actually worked in the KotORs if there was a dummy mode like in NWN2. That way, we might have been able to strategically position them without them instantly running back towards the selected character. <_<
  19. Mass Effect Dragon Age Obsidian's RPG Fallout 3 (as long as it's not Morrowind with Guns)
  20. As a series of games, NWN can't be beat. Yeah, it's even better than FF.
  21. Dear God, Surrep - no one should be forced to rely solely on IGN. http://www.gamespot.com
  22. Guys, guys! When you pick a dialogue option in a cRPG half the fun is seeing how the NPC will react. But with ME, we're treated to the surprise of seeing how our PC will react as well - double the trouble, double the fun! As long as our PC doesn't go Brokeback on us.
  23. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome FTW!1
  24. Only in your mind, young Padawan learner.
  25. Looks cool, Jorian. What exactly was your role in this team, by the way?
