Hades isn't asking for a game exactly as he wants. All he wants is a sequel true to the spirit of Fallout. That by definition requires it to retain certain qualities. Otherwise it's just Bethesda's take on a post nuclear RPG - but not FO.

To be honest, I'm not too confident about Fallout 3: Morrowind with Guns. If Bethsoft do any of the following, then I'll probably think twice before buying it: -Forcing a first person perspective without the option of going 3rd person or isometric; -Forcing real time combat without the option of playing turned based; -Using a wiki style dialogue without any discernible conversational options.

Yup. Being able to cover massive chunks of gameplay with just the left analogue is so awesome... [/sarcasm] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What's your frame of comparison? After all, it's all relative. If you compare the fighting to some of the great CRPGs, then it falls short. But if you accept JRPG combat for what it is, and compare FFXII combat to that, then I think you'll find that it's a winner. No random battles. No battle transition screen. That epitomizes awesomeness for a JRPG. But then again, for some people I guess there's no accounting for taste.

FFXII And it's teh awesome!1 The battle system is like revolutionary for a JRPG. Instead of the fighting being tedious drudgery, I'm actually enjoying it - and looking forward to the battles in fact!
