  1. None, really. You become a mindless pawn of Evil for all time. If that is appealing to you, be my guest. Mm... sort of like a Shadow from NWN, only far more wicked.
  2. Definitely Dex. You get higher Defense and Reflex rolls from it. Also, you'll be able to deflect blaster bolts easier with a higher dex. Strength can pretty much be boosted anyways by implants and whatnot. Speaking of alternate weapons: I gave Handmaiden two Vibroblades with insane upgrades. She waded through the enemies. Totally unstoppable.
  3. Or Revenant, perhaps? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Long before Revenant as well I should check some day if I still have it somewhere in my gaming library.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Revenant is awesome. Too bad you need a low-end machine to run it properly. It goes to fast on high-end machines.
  4. It's grammAr, bub. And I want the patch to fix everything that needs to be fixed. Which is a lot.
  5. The Shadow weave is not a "parody" of the weave, nor is the weave "Mystra's magic-web thingy" Mystra is the Guardian/Caretaker of the Weave, not it's source or creator. The Shadow Weave was created at the same time as the Weave was, Shar just Hid it, as she is the goddess of Secrets. It just took her few millenia to take control of it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It had some pretty "interesting" side effects, too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't believe that I said Mystra created it... I just got confused on Shar and the Shadow Weave. It's Mystra's weave because she watches and 'controls' it. What were the 'interesting' side effects? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The side effect is you get turned into a Shade, a twisted reflection of your own self if you use the Shadow Weave over the 'Regular'. At first you'll lose connection to Mystra's Weave and feel more in tune with the Shadow Weave. Once you start down the dark path. Forever will it dominate your destiny. *cough* "

  7. Actually, you have to be the God of Murder if you ascend. There is the balance you must uphold should you accept your fathers portfolio.
  8. Or Revenant, perhaps? I, too, seem to create a "standard" character whenever I'm playing an RPG. A skilled warrior/paladin with a heavy sarcastic streak but with a heart of gold. Or A Sorcerer / Invoker/Evoker Wizard with heavy combat orientation and plenty of skills.
  9. Black Isle's gone budy, Obsidian's the closest thing, and that's reason enough to encourage them by buying their products. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know that. But I still wish to see one final game made by them. Fallout series, Baldur's Gate Series, Planescape: Torment. Aaah... the memories. What? I'm allowed to dream!
  10. Guilty as charged... although all I had to do was get a new videocard; I'm still trying to decide on the RAM... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The more, the merrier. Rule of thumb when it comes to computer hardware (yes, I'm a geek. So sue me!)
  11. *Owl hooting*
  12. Sentinel/Weapon Master. I love skills and great bonuses in combat.
  13. Other (please state): Black Isle. 'Nuff said.
  14. You notice several similarities between this game and Planescape: Torment.
  15. Probably. She was the quickest one to reject you and claimed that you walked the Dark Side even though you did not. She didn't really listen to what the others had to say about you. It was more like: "Yes, yes, now, be silent! He walks the Dark Side and blah blah blah". Even when you meet her she still refuses to acknowledge the fact that the Jedi Council's inaction hurt more people than they thought. The council would meditate on the problem while millions upon millions people died as worlds burned.
  16. My problem isn't really with the movies. I think they look great. What I dislike the most is the spontaneous crashes, low sample music and that the screen gets dark whenever you transition somewhere in which I have to go to the Graphics Settings and Up the gamma slider again. Hopefully the patch will fix these problems as well as unlock the areas which were taken out of the game when it was finalized.
  17. Kreia looks like she's been eating something best left alone, but as always: beautifully drawn. I applaud your skills, now fetch me something to eat. No? Okay then. Did I say you did a good job?
  18. Actually, it can but it'll be up and running... err.. hovering when you transition to a new area.
  19. "HA-HA! Too bad you can't quick-load and try again."
  20. Exile: "Still holding a grudge?" Kex: "You still breathing?" Made me laugh. Also when you crash the shuttle on Telos surface and you run into the mercenaries: Atton: "We could try handing the Zabrak over as a bargaining chip." Bao-Dur: "Who do you think shot you down in the first place?" Atton: "Point taken. Forget I said anything." And: Kreia: "That was not the most pleasant landing I've endured. In the future perhaps we should seek out a better pilot." Atton: "You're welcome, Kreia. If I wasn't such a crack pilot we could've hit the shield wall or one of the rock faces." Kreia: "Yes, our current situation is a vast improvement..." And: Atton: "This reminds me of the last time I visited Telos." Bao-Dur: "Crashed a shuttle that time too?" Atton: "No. Pazaak." And when you're on Nar-Shaddaa and the guy says Ebon Hawk is his and you tell him that he's not going to take the ship. Atton: "Let me shoot him in the back. No one has to know..." Handmaiden: "Atton, restrain yourself. Besides, a quick blow to the neck will incapacitate him painfully without causing any lasting harm." < or some such. Not quite sure about the wording but I think the context of it comes through clearly enough >
  21. Greedy bastard. Oh, well - at least he duped a lot of the stuff at the Starforge & then donated it to random thugs/cannoks. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean, Battle.Net? :D
  22. Well I'm sith, but there is a balance, there will always be light and dark and in the forums we get along cuz of the old schoolness Hey I think all of the old schoolers are jedi except for me, so I proclaim myself the official Dark Lord of the Sith... (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then all that is left for you to do is the starting of the Church of Sith with the Sith Code as its bible then a Sith Academy, Sith Wal-Mart, Sith-Burger and Sith Auto/Space-Ship Dealer.
  23. Great and informative post, Saberist. BUT: Trying to implant Logic in the SW Universe is like looking for a snowball in hell.
  24. No, you'll always get 1 skill point no matter how low intelligence you have.
  25. That is besides the point. Its like on Kotor I, i used to edit the saved game to change my Scoundrel from having Critical Strike to Flurry. (he would count that as cheating......is it?) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's a completely different thing. I mean, if you can build / manufacture all kinds of upgrades for both armor and saber and weapon alike. Why shouldn't you be able to create a fairly decent armor?
