  1. I don't use mods. The three reasons why I prefer a tremor sword (or similar weapon) over a lightsabre: - you can watch the enemy's blood dripping down from the blade (no, not in the game) - it's better for cutting pizza than a lightsaber - no trouble with empty batteries!^^
  2. None of the ones on the list, but a set of Pazaak-cards.^^
  3. Well, I tried to translate the source text, which is referred to in the article which the link leads to. (But it's probably not a very good translation, with mistakes in my English, as I don't have much time now, and no dictionary with me.) The source text is here: (homepage of a popular German games magazine) http://www.gamestar.de/news/pc-spiele/rollenspiele/24697/ OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT New game with unreal-engine3? The most recent job offers at Obsidian Entertainment (KotOR2) give reasons for new speculations. The developer [i.e. Obs.Ent.] is searching numerous programmers, graphic designers and designers for a not specified RPG, that's supposed to be based on an Unreal Engine. So far, Obsidian is officially only working on Neverwinter Nights 2, which is scheduled to be realeased next year. But Obsidian has been working on NWN2 for a long time now, so it's doubtful, whether there are new gameplay-programmers, systems-designers and leading char-modellers needed for this project. Should the US-developers be working on a new game, the old Unreal 2 technology will probably not be used, but rather the new Unreal Engine 3. Of course we don't know, if there's thought about a new Knights of the Old Republic. But it would be surprising after the success of the first two games, if the RPG series wasn't extended to a trilogy. The first article (consolewars) says in the last sentence that dates, pictures and further information cannot/should not be expected before the E3.
  4. Yep. ^_^ Or in that dancing dress. (The 'underwear' in that game looked more like a military suit or something.) - That's really not fair, the guys get the Handmaiden to fight with and we get Disciple and his meditation... Booooring! I had already found the best solution to pass time while my force energy refilled before I met the Disciple: Play Pazaak with Atton! (No, not Nar Shadaa rules.)
  5. Hmm... so most of you do use lightsabres for their characters. @ psycho_leo: But it's not much better. And I didn't want to use it. I would have only used it, if it had been absolutely necessary, but it wasn't. And I don't care for that sound. Probably because I'm not a Star Wars Fan and not into this Jedi-stuff... @ metadigital: Yeah, I know they can be better. Especially when you have two of them, like my brother once had with one of his chars. - But my char only found those double-bladed ones. The only normal one I had I gave to Bao-Dur. @ starkiller: Weaponless? Cool. Would be nice if could come back here and tell us how it worked.
  6. Blaster? Interesting idea. I always carried one with me as second weapon. Vibroblades? Really? No Vibroswords? Here are my endgame tremor swords, and that stupid light sabre I never used in comparison: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v473/1st...OR2/weapons.jpg The lightsabre is hardly better, because I never put much effort into it. Love my tremor swords.^^
  7. I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but these boards are so large, it would have taken too long to search for a similar topic. Well, I'd just like to know whether there's anyone else not using a lightsabre with his char? I've successfully finished the game with two wonderful Sith Tremor swords (hope that's their name in English). I do have a lightsabre, cause everybody told me I need to have one, but I never used it. Anyone else using a different weapon? A blaster? Or even no weapon but bare fists? (I guess the last one might be a nice option for those who complained that the fights were too easy. )
  8. Sorry for opening the same thread twice, but I only got "error" messages, I didn't know it was already posted!!
  9. *lol* I like our German Atton's soft voice better than the American one. But Bao-Dur... always shouting... Does anyone have any other languages for us to hear?
  10. @ Blue Green: You're welcome.^^ @LadyCrimson: Thanks. I tried to make the file smaller, but I only got it down to 1.4mb, anything else somehow sounded to me as if they were talking over the phone... (And I had to sign up for new free webspace, I just noticed my old one's full!! O.O) Okay, here as wav, 1.4mb: http://www.geocities.com/necrofrog82/att-bao-ger2.wav And zipped 1.2mb: http://www.geocities.com/necrofrog82/atton-bao-ger2.zip Sorry for the file sizes!
  11. Thank you very much for your help, LadyCrimson!! Okay, here is the conversation between Atton and Bao-Dur in German. I'm sorry, it a large file, 2.9mb... Does anyone know how to make it a smaller one but still sounding good? Edit: 1.4mb file here: http://www.geocities.com/necrofrog82/att-bao-ger2.wav - Warning: The voices are very different from the English ones! Here's the text: A: Habt Ihr mal kurz Zeit? B: Ich bin ziemlich beschaeftigt, was ist denn? A: Dauert nur ganz kurz. B: Okay. Ich arbeite, waehrend Ihr redet. A: Also...Eure Freundin, die Jedi... Ihr kennt sie doch schon lange, oder? Was wisst Ihr eigentlich ueber sie? B: Sie? A: Ihr habt gesagt, Ihr lacht nicht! B: Es ist Euer Ernst! Atton, sie war ein General, ich nur ein Techniker! Woher soll ich das denn wissen?? A: Und, was denkt Ihr? B: Ich muss weitermachen. A: Hey, ich meine es ernst!
  12. Hey, those are pretty cool sound files. Now I know what their English voices sound like.^^ But I must say that Atton's and Bao's voices are really different from the German ones! Atton's German voice is softer and Bao's louder. In case anyone would like to hear the short conversation between Atton and Bao about 'Exile+Atton=?', I would like to post it here, but I have a problem: How do I get their voices into a nice file like yours, LadyCrimson? Are they in the "Stream Voice" folder? There are lots of files in there, but I can't open them! I mean, I can open them, but Media Player always shows a lentgh of 0 seconds and that's what I get! Nothing! I have a savegame in which all I have to do is enter the ship to get that conversation, maybe I can get it directly form there?
  13. Oh! Okay! - Poor Atton! ^^ @ Midnight Hawk: Thanks for the link! @witchzenka: Just read your fanfic. I like it. Not really. But with the Necromancer being my favourite character in Diablo II, I'm used to the company of that kind of creatures. Walking corpses can be useful when you can control them...
  14. @ Silvershadow: What? The meditation scene means disciple loves me?? Are we talking about he same scene here, cause he wasn't even in it? I mean the short video in which - Am I the only one who thinks Sion loves my char? Why can't I just tell him that I hate Kreia at least as much as he does and fight her together with him? - I mean, I really hate her! From moment on that I first saw her, I hated her!
