The only level-up trick I use is the Hssiss spawn. 400 exp a pop and you kill like 30-40 of them that's a pretty decent chunk of experience you're cashing in. I find this one the easiest and quickest. Can't be bothered placing mines, leaving area, re-enter, disarm mines, replace mines, exit and rinse and repeat.

Oh dear me. I've not had such a good laugh in a long time. Please, go on! I'm sure I can get some more laughs out of this conversation. "A console isn't a computer, regardless of what people think." Quote of the year!

Agreed. He had a better role in KOTOR I when he had a rediculously high security skill in the begining of the game. In KOTOR II hes only good for upgrading items wheen you dont have a workbench available. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah. And even if you level him up, he still sucks at Security, Computers and Repair.

G0T0: Utterly useless. I only have him around on the Ebon Hawk to mock him in some fashion. Never found him useful in any way at all and I've tried bringing him with me. T3M4: Useless, as well. Only thing I use him for is to get computer spikes. That's it. Kreia and I don't get along to well together. Don't really care anyway since whatever I do seems to rub her in the wrong way. Bitch, moan and complain. 24/7. The party-members I usually bring with me are: Mira, Visas/Handmaiden or Bao-Dur/Atton. When I bring along Mandalore I let him do all the work with dual Micro-Pulse Blasters. Unstoppable!!

Things you wish your character would say

G0T0: "Iridonian." Bao-Dur: "Yes, G0T0?" G0T0: "I have studied your work and find it of exceptional quality. I require upgrades to my system and you will perform them." Bao-Dur: "I'll get on it when I have some spare time." < Bao-Dur upgrades G0T0. Exile walks in as the droid is put back together. > Bao-Dur: "You are put together quite well! There wasn't much I could do." G0T0: "As I told you earlier, my design is streamlined for maximum efficiency." Bao-Dur: "I did manage to get you one upgrade, however. An operational device allowing remote control of droids." G0T0: "My system already has one such device. Implementing another one is redundant and unnecessary." < Exile grabs the remote control of the workbench, aims it at G0T0 and presses the big red button named: OFF. G0T0 shuts down and falls to the floor.> Exile: All too easy... -
Meh, Bronze all the way. Looks cool when you hack and slash your way to fortune! Woohoo! *cough*

I never liked the DS aspect of the game. It forced you to be too much of a stupid bully instead of a scheming bastard like Palpy.

What happened at M 5 during the war?
Invoker replied to Quietus1's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
He wouldn't have. The Exile gave the order to Bao-Dur who then activated it resulting in a massive gravity well that literally crushed everyone on the planet, but somehow leaving the academy on it intact. Hadn't the Exile given the order, I doubt Bao-Dur would've activated it. Speculations only, peeps. Don't chew my head off -
Would Mace Windu Have beaten Sidious?
Invoker replied to jodo kast 5's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Palpatine displays his "weakness" just as Anakin enters the room. The only thing Anakin missed was Palpatine being disarmed and pushed into the corner. In my opinion, it's the optimal outcome for Palpatine because it lends credence to Palpatine claiming "I told you....the Jedi are taking over." But Mace and Palpatine are still going at it with the lightsabers when Anakin is powerwalking his way through the Chancellor's office. Trying to zap Mace would have given Mace more conviction that Palpatine should just be executed right then and there, since he'd be too dangerous to be left alive. Until Palpatine tried force lightning, he was merely "under arrest." With Palpatine's life immediately on the line, it forces Anakin's hand if he still wants to save Padme. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with you on that one. Anakin walked in and saw only the "aftermath" of the battle. Had he entered a bit later he would've most likely see a dead Palpy. I voted, Yes. Mace WOULD have killed Palpatine had not Anakin interfered. -
What R Yo Fav 3 Games Of All Times
Invoker replied to The Illuminator's topic in Computer and Console
3 favourite games, is it? Here's my list. * Planescape: Torment. So far, I haven't seen any game that can match Ps:T in terms of roleplaying and depth. Storywise and characterwise. Even the environment fits right in. * Revenant. Yes, this silly old game from Eidos Interactive where you play a Revenant; a warrior returned to life. It was a bit fuzzy on the explanation or I was just not paying enough attention. Anyway, I loved this game even though many things were missing / weren't taken into the final product. It was buggy as hell, but the rather cool story and combat combined with some silly jokes about Tristram (Diablo 1) made me play this through a few times. * Baldur's Gate II with expansion. It's a tough decision. I'd put KotOR 2 here, as well, but I've had more fun with BG2 than with KotOR. Don't get me wrong, I still love the game, but all the things that were taken out of it knocked it down a notch. Can't wait for the Restoration Project. What's the status of it, anyway? -
My guess? All day

With Senility comes great power. Just look at how she whacked all the three Masters in the Enclave.

Yeah, well, Shang-Tsung is cool. Nihilus is not. Also in MK: Deception he is listed as a Sorcerer... but I digress, this is off topic.

Guild Wars is free. No monthly cost. Other than that? I don't know. Ask someone who plays it. I'm stuck with World of Warcraft

Two-handed bug, double bladed weapons
Invoker replied to MTJ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's fixed. If you don't have the two-weapon fighting feat you'll receive a penalty to your off-hand and main-hand to-hit chance. -

[ In the Ebon Hawk, Exile approaches Mandalore to get some information about the Mandalorians and stuff in general ] Exile: "What's your take on the republic?" Mandalore: "Hgnnnn! Aaaaah..." Exile: "What did you just do?!" Mandalore: "I am so glad I remembered to install a recycling system in this armor." Exile: *blanches, goes away to puke* __ Sion: "We're a band of vicious Sith Lords." Traya: "A sailin' out the galaxy." Nihilys: "When you hear our 'sabers swinging." Sion: "You'll be sure to turn to flee." Exile: "Oh for f..." Exile: "Is this some kind of a trap?" Sion: "The Jedi will be done for, when he falls into our trap!" Sion: "We're a club of tuneful rovers." Nihilus: "We can sing in every cleft." Traya: "We can even hit the high notes." Sion: "It's just too bad we're tone deaf." All: "A Sith Lord I was meant to be." All: "Kill the Jedi and roam free." Exile: "Look, if you guys are done, I need to go find the the Jedi Master." Traya: "To speed up your search we suggest using a blaster." Exile: "Huh?" Nihilus: "We're evil balladeers." Sion: "A gang of cutthroat thugs." Nihilus: "To fight us off you don't need a gun." Sion: "Just use Force Stun!" All: "I Sith Lord I was meant to be." All: "Kill the Jedi and roam free." Exile: "Listen, I need to get back to work..." Traya: "Our corruption is a thing we love, a thing we'd never shirk." Traya: "We'll fight you in the harbor" Sion: "We'll battle you on land." Traya: "But when you meet singing Sith, you..." Exile: "Know they aren't worth spit..." Sion: "Ooooh! That was a good one!" Exile: "No, it wasn't...." Exile: "No time for song, I have to move..." Nihilus: "The battle will be long but our courage we will prove!" Sion: "We're a pack of scurvy Sith dogs." Traya: "Have we pity? Not a dram!" Nihilus: "We all eat roasted garlic..." Sion: "... and sing from the diaphragm!" All: "A Sith Lord I was meant to be." All: "Kill the Jedi and roam free." Exile: "Less singing!" Traya: "All will fear the death we're bringing." Nihilus: "If ye try ta fight us... Sion: "Ye'll get a nasty whackin'!" Nihilus: "If ya disrespect our singing..." Sion: "We will feed you to a kraken!" All: "A Sith Lord I was meant to be." All: "Kill the Jedi and roam free." Exile: "I'm getting sick of you guys and your rhyming!" Traya: "We're ready to set sail, though our guns needs priming." Sion: "We're troublesome corsairs!" Traya: "We've come to steal your treasures!" Sion: "We would 'saber' you on the downbeat." Traya: "But we have to rest five measures." All: "A Sith Lord I was meant to be." All: "Kill the Jedi and roam free." Exile: "Stop! Stop! Stop!" Nihilus: "The saber is what we'll polish and the deck is what we'll mop." Exile: "You say you're nasty Sith Lords" Exile: "Evil, scheming bad bushwackers." Exile: "From what I've seen, I tell you... Exile: "You're not Sith Lords. You're just slackers!" All: "A Sith Lord I was meant to be." All: "Kill the Jedi and roam free." Exile: "You'll be sure to avoid scurvy if you eat an orange." Traya: "And...!" Traya: "Um..." Sion: "Well..." Nihilus: "Err..." Sion: "Door hinge... ?" Traya: "No, no..." Nihilus: "Guess the song's over then?" Sion: "Guess so..." Traya: "Okay, back to work." Exile: "Well, gee. I feel a little guilty now." I have way to much spare time on my hands... -
Hopefully we'll get the next patch soon, as in in a few days to a week. No more. Or it could be that they are delaying it and release it at the same time as the final Star Wars movie hit the theatres.
-
The only cool games EA made are Need for Speed: Underground 1 and 2 and Burnout 3 for Xbox. The rest pretty much sucks...
-
Perhaps they are pulling a Blizzard? For those of you who don't know what it means, look up the words "Diablo 2", "Patch 1.10" and "WTF BLIZZ!11??11+11!"

Things you wish a KOTOR2 character would say......
Invoker replied to Topaz Quasar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Bao-Dur: "I must say, you are put together quite well. There wasn't much to improve." G0T0: "As I mentioned. My design is streamlined and efficient." Bao-Dur: "I can tell. There were some things from my Remote I managed to incorporate into your design." G0T0: "I see. Well, thank you. I'll let you get back to your work then." [ G0T0 hovers off ] Exile: "What did you install into that flying bollock?" Bao-Dur: "Windows 95." Exile: "Your Remote is running Windows 95?" Bao-Dur: "Hell no! But he doesn't know that. I never did like that nut anyway." [ Cue cinematic: G0T0 flying around erratically and occasionally crashing into ceiling, walls and floor.] [ Pan camera: Party members snickering. Return to gameplay.] -
That translation is somewhat misleading. It should be: "In the beginning of the game you find out that Magic has mysteriously disappeared from the world, though you can reacquire it later on through quests." Anyway, here's my own translation of the whole feature summary: The world is about 3 times larger than in Gothic 2 Riding animals could possibly be included There are desert, forest and snow terrain types You will encounter location specific monsters based on climate and terrain type Animals have their own daily cycle, they actively search for prey and hunt in packs When you kill Orcs around a besieged town, the townsfolk may start a rebellion (i.e. support you) There are 20 towns The Hero's actions will affect his reputation Even more freedom of choice There will be no more Chapters The plot offers multiple paths to victory and possibly multiple endings You can meet some old friends (from the previous games) who will have an agenda of their own You can hire Mercenaries to fight for you You can trade with just about anyone There are 6 ruling races (factions?) spread around the continent One chooses a Faction much later in the game There are 6 jobs classes like Smith or Gladiator You can participate in Gladiator fights Shields are in Magic staffs/wands are in The UI is much more intuitive (mouse based) and the controls are fully customizable The world is not build from tiles and blocks. Each location is uniquely designed. Ragdoll effects are in Real time lighting effects are in The Orcs have won the war, enslaved the population and now control the majority of the continent The Orcs are no longer simple monsters. They are an intelligent race with their own culture and goals The magic has mysteriously 'disappeared' from the world (but only in the beginning of the game, you can reacquire it later on) You start the game as an experienced warrior There are 3 Magic schools Summoning powerful creatures (i.e. Demons) is now only possible in certain places No multiplayer mode Hi-quality screenshot scans: http://xardas.sohosted.com/screenshots.html <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I didn't know better, it sounds more or less like Fable for XBox. Influenced by that game, perhaps?
