Bah. That's nonsense. The only armors you can make are the Jal-Shey, Zeison Sha and some various Jedi Robes. None of the armors will make you a living god. It'll simply be an alternative way of getting your hands on some Jedi robes / armors for you and your partymembers.

I gather you wasn't too concerned with lack of skills also, alot of people nag that the game is too easy, perhaps they are powergaming, because when i play normally, regardless if i put all my points on DEX, i get hurt alot and fast....so unless you plan to use blasters until you get your saber, DEX can stay on 10. (it would allow you to wear Armour with restrictions on DEX bonuses. I have noticed that i pick up Mandalorian Armour (10-13 Defence 0 DEX Bonus) more often then i pick up a Jedi Robe, which is really annoying. So, thanks to Kotor II's crappy random loot generator, i have gotten bored of force powers, so i tend to put no points in WIS or CHA. (and no, the random loot does not make me wanna play it again to see what i can get the next time...it puts me off) It was cool on Diablo II because your powers that used Mana was never, ever restricted by your armor. I personally find it stupid when Force powers are restricted by Armour (well, non-jedi Armour anyway) because if it blocks your powers, then it would technically make it useless against anyone wearing armour. They could have at least made it easier for Robes and Sabers to be looted and i don't mean to mysteriously loot a lightsaber or a robe off of a droid. (it then gets extremely stupid) If i knew how to mod, i would make a better random loot mod. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why don't you download the Mods that allows you to make Robes and armor on the workbench in the Ebon Hawk and other places? Real Jedi know how to sew

Which KotOR character would you be?

Oh please. You were just hoping for a foursome *cough* Anyway, in terms of personality and all I'd say Bao-Dur. Soft-spoken, calm and the resident tech-head. Fits me like a glove. -

Lousy selection of games: Yes, I agree. Not many games for the 'Box that actually caught my interest. If you're talking about the control as in gamepad, I happen to like them. Fits perfectly in your hands. Every button easily accessible. The hardware for the 'Box could've been better, though... -
Best way to deal with Influence - K2

Or rather he HAS played it and got fed up by never getting good influence with Kreia while he was getting good influence with the rest of the party members? -

It is through XBox Live. Firmware and other software updates/upgrades is downloaded through XBox Live. But general updates or small tweaks to the operating system of the 'Box is free. Just plug in the Network cable and it should download the needed update automatically. At least it did so for me. -
What would you say when killing someone?

[ Insert mirthful laughter here ] "Note to self: the flat of the lightsaber does NOT work to smack people atop the head with." "Note to self again: The flat of the lightsaber isn't flat at all and it sure as hell isn't harmless." -
Parsec is a measurement of distance, not time. Mr. Lucas screwed up with that information. uhm... I should be going now... yeah. I'll be... over there. Also, I love the quote where Qui-Gonn Jinn speaks with the Toydarian about buying a new hyperdrive generator. "Republic dinars will be fine." *waves hand* "No, they wont." "Republic dinars WILL be fine..." *waves hand again* "No, they won't. Stop waving your hand like that as if you're some kind of Jedi. I'm a Toydarian. Mind tricks don't work on me. Only money!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> its not a screw up when they say he made it in 12 parsecs he means he probs used shortcuts to decrease the distance he had to travel has it ever bin explained why mind tricks dont work on toydarians cos the guy on nar shadda cant be force persuaded <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is a screw up. He says: "This is the fasted ship in the galaxy. It made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs." This whole sentence makes no sense as he is describing a distance in space with a unit to measure distances in space. It's like you would say: "I ran a mile in less than 1.6 kilometers", completely irrelevant as no one knows how fast you were going/running which is the case of Mr. Solo's claim.

You can say the very same about factory-built PC's. Hasn't stopped people from modding it though. And face it: not all Xbox units are flawless. The DVD-drive stopped working for many. The RAM modules were busted. The graphics chip malfunctioned from time to time. Lately, there has been problems with the power cords. Gee, where have I seen the same symptoms. Oh, that's right. ON A COMPUTER! -

The XBox practically isa PC with very little modifications. Its "OS" runs on a 500Kb Windows 2000 Kernel. You can install Linux on it, you can use it to store Mp3's, games (if you have a large enough HDD). You can play games online with it, and so on and so forth. I look at the 'Box as a miniature PC as it is more that than a console. -

I own both a PC and a 'Box. The XBox is an obsolete system. A 700Mhz P3 CPU and a 64mb GFXcard and 128mb of RAM is going to run newer games which require more and more resources just to run somewhat properly and smoothly? You can't compare an XBox against a PC, really. The PC is so much better in every fashion than an XBox. Almost everyone has at least one PC capable of running practically every game there is. The only thing I like about the Xbox is that is has some kickass racing games that doesn't exist on the PC. Other than that, it really isn't all that good. Fable, which is a pretty easy run game in terms of hardware, lags on an Xbox. A minor second, sure, but still. The Xbox is cheap because the components it's made out of are cheap (now, at least). -
Yeah, I could've bought it from Webhallen, that is true. But since I was downtown anyways I figured I just pick it up there instead of waiting. Yes, I was lazy. True. But you still had some form of graphic memory. Mostly a small ugly chip on the motherboard.

Free download: http://www.abandonia.com/games/36/Dune_2/Dune2.htm It was among the first PC games I played, loved it. For me, the whole RTS genre was ruined somewhere around when StarCraft came and people started whoring instead of playing for fun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah. The games went from: "Good luck, guys. May the best team win" to "KEEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE RUSH OK!?!!111oneone!! ^______________________________^"

I feel like PC games have been at around 450 SEK for ages... but my numeric memory isnt very good. I do remember that my 386sx 33mHz with 4mb RAM cost my father around 10000 SEK in 1993 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They're more expensive now. You will be hard pressed to find a new PC game below the 499SEK mark. That's what KotOR2 cost me. It's even more expensive on the XBox. Around a 100SEK more. (No, I did not buy it on the SexBox. Why should I?) It appears that there's a rule on how the price tag is set on XBox games here in Sweden. Any new PC-game's price + 100SEK = Brand spanking new Xbox game. Yeah. My first computer was also a 386SX 33mhz with 4mb RAM and 512k GFx-memory. I inherited it from my aunt who coughed up 12,000SEK for it. It's amazing how technology has advanced from way back when ...

I try not to read to much into these things and just enjoy them for what they are. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True enough. It's pretty much the only thing that bugs me about the movies. Other than that, they're classics.

HK-47, Minsc ... and the rest? Morte? Jan Jansen? Korgan Bloodaxe? Edwin Oddesserion? The candy loving mage Quell? How could you not include them in this poll? -

Which did you find to be the rarest?

When Kreia or Visas has the Cyan crystal, everytime on the Ebon Hawk when the meditate, the have an ignited lightsaber on their laps. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So, they like living on the edge. But Bao-Dur is the craziest of them all. Give him a Cyan saber and he'll go on about the ship and make his repairs with the lightsaber ignited, only inches from his face. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or Atton operating the Ebon Hawk controls with an ignited saber. I bet this is how KoTOR 3 start. Lightsaber damage at the Hawk's controls. Atton's a fool. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And maimed characters getting treatment in a Kolto Tank <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yet, somehow T3 will survive. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not after he experiments with a upgrade for his Core based on the Windows Source Code. -

The knight robes do make you look a bit thin and straggly <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Never judge a person by his clothing. Look at Yoda, for example. Doesn't look much for the world, does he? Then look at him again when he fought Dooku on Geonosis. See what I'm getting at?

I start out with: Str: 12 Dex: 14 Con: 12 Int: 14 Wis: 12 Cha: 12 Then I boost Dexterity and Constitution to 18. Dexterity for greater bonus to hit and Constitution so that I can use the D-implants. The rest? *shrugs* There are robes and circlets that can boost them for me.
