  1. So I'm curious how many people can see those 'pictures' in the 3D random-noise looking displays that were the rage for a short time. I never could.
  2. Hope this isn't considered too spammy (or done before) - lock away if so. :D Someone posted this on another forum I go to and I thought it was mildly amusing. http://www.cyborgname.com/ Post your result.
  3. Yeah, that aspect of the whole Dxun thing bugged me too. I kept waiting for the convo option to appear that would be 'another time.' Never happened. I figured it was just conversational dialogue to flesh out the whole character thing...I mean, you return, it'd seem funny to have no one say anything. Maybe some unused content behind it tho...who knows. At least their various lines were pretty cute.
  4. Did anyone else think the vaunted Illusion #3, even with the swatch pulled 'down', the center pieces didn't look the same color? Close, but not exactly same. One was still more yellow than the other. The others tho - I've seen a lot of stuff like that before. My brother was really into them...plus I've been a guinea pig for...stuff.
  5. The accent he used in that one was incomprehensible....I guess it could be seen as funny.... :D
  6. Little too much foundation, but a nice pixie face. Benicio del Toro - he's weird, but talented...irritated the hell out of me in Usual Suspects but I started to love him after some of the films he was in after that...like Way of the Gun & Traffic.
  7. In general my 'type' in real life is still reflected quite strongly in fangirl-ism. But there are times where an actor captivates me because the role he's playing is so strong...ie, they have a lot of on-screen charisma that I personally like. Kevin Spacey, for example, isn't exactly my normal 'type'. But rrrowrr...he's seXy on-screen. And funny too.
  8. Michael Shanks. SG-1 glasses on or off, I think he's hot. Can't tell in this picture, but I love his blue eyes.
  9. Tsk Tsk.....suntan lotion! Wear it, roll around in it...it's your friend! I'll have to remember the tea thing the next time my husband decides he doesn't need lotion on his fair skin whilst doing yardwork.
  10. Congrats to all and well deserved. :D
  11. I am a huge fangirl of my webserver host Justin. I don't know what I'd do without him.
  12. Tears For Fears, the Hurting I'm in a mood due to constant 404 errors.
  13. Ah...Mr. Reeves. I didn't think he was attractive at all until he started wearing those long black coats in the Matrix. I love long black coats. So now...he's still not really my type, but he does wear certain clothes very well. :D And he was actually less wooden than usual in Constantine. One could almost ignore his tree-like acting method in that film.
  14. That Thing You Do soundtrack ...and dancing to it.
  15. Is it just me, or does he look a bit like Nicky Katt in those photos?
  16. 'confidence in the photographer' helps. Some people can make almost anyone look seXy GQ-ish or whatever.
  17. Photography forums have a lot of guys posting (high-quality) 'glamour' shots of their wives, but not many of gals posting 'glamour' shots of their husbands. That always amuses me. :D
  18. I like that little box shelf thingie behind her. And yes, her eyes scare me a little.... :D
  19. Hair: 5 Jacket: 4 Glasses: 6 Hands: 5 Drink: 8 Overall: 5.6 Nope, nothing there, either. hehehe
  20. Crushed red pepper (flakes, not fine grind) Whole peppercorns Garlic powder (fresh is best of course, but sometimes you're in a pinch) Hot sauce of choice Sesame seed oil Soy sauce (unless you're allergic to soy, of course...) Homemade teriyaki sauce (soy sauce, sugar, garlic, that's it) Jalepeno's (they're almost non-perishable in a fridge...) Croutons (they're already stale...) A really good blender A large broiler pan A very large non-sloped high-wall frying pan A small food processor/chopper for specific tasks like mincing onions to save your eyes. For just plain chopping/slicing, knives are always better. A good colander (plastic ones SUCK) Uh....that's it for now.
  21. The invisible man? Doesn't do much for me either. :D
  22. Alcohol just makes my face feel warm and then I fall asleep. Probably why I never got into drinking. Gymnastics improves dancing as well. :D
  23. She does nothing for me.
  24. *points* Over there! ...I hope I'm still around if/when they ever manage to make such a thing viable and a reality.
  25. Well, I'm sure when games are played with 3D goggles and voice commands or whatever (like a mental holodeck) that'll help the story bit - the 'average' gamer will likely be more concerned with story when fantasy gaming becomes that interactive/immersive.
