  1. 111 deflection might be faintly possible in edge cases (I assume Eder is level 12 there), but having 111 deflection at the same time as 80 accuracy is completely OP.
  2. The other stuff is all bugs, but high level mages are intended to turn their low level pre-rest spells into per-encounter spells. But the game should probably be patched to tell you that on level-up.
  3. Yeah, that's the save/laod bug that's been reported many, many times here, causes temporary effects and modals to stack. One easy way to test if you've been affected is to see how much Int Kana has while naked. Since he comes with the +1 Int hat, he tends to stack it up quite easily once the bug hits him. He's supposed to have 17 base Int, but some people are reporting as much as 25 Int on him due to the bug.
  4. The bonus spell talent is almost certainly the result of the save/load bug, which stacks up temporary effects and item effects after save/loading in certain areas.
  5. Well, it requires your chanter to be near your ranged attackers, so it theoretically renders a lot of other chants useless. Of course, in practice this really doesn't matter at all, since chanting only one chant is perfectly fine. To be honest, I think the whole chant/phrase system needs another balance pass.
  6. All traces back to this bug, which also causes modal abilities to stack and become permanent: See also here, here, and here. It would be cool to have some sort of official acknowledgement that it's being looked at, because it shows a massive problem with the save/load system.
  7. 3200x1800 resolution... Intel graphics HD 4400. I'm suprised you're able to play the game at all. Your graphics card is below minimum requirements to begin with, and with that resolution.... dropping down to 1920x1080 might help with the glitches, but you can't expect much with this kind of system.
  8. Check what his Might is. There's a bug where save/loading permanently changes character stats.
  9. It is a nasty save bug. That thread should be stickied together with the "double clicking items to equip them breaks your game" stuff. Everybody needs to be aware of it.
  10. Broken accuracy is likely a result of the Save/Load bug. Any temporary accuracy boost gets permanently applied again and again when you load a game. Doesn't happen to everybody, at least.
  11. There's also this report about how enemies who have been damaged in battle retain their reduced health after a reload (though they regenerate quickly). If that report is accurate, the Save/Load system itself seems to be bugged.
  12. This is the bug described here and in a bunch of other places.
  13. "Slash" should be "Klingen", and "Crush" should be "Hieb". That better describes the weapons that are using these damage types.
  14. The wiki is badly outdated and references a time when Resolve affected the duration of every effect. Duration is now affected by Intelligence, as stated in the character screen.Don't trust the wiki for anything, please. For traps: put trap in quick slot, leave inventory, click quick slot.
  15. I did some more testing with the console, and the problem only seems to be with the level 3 version of Eder. The level 4 version has exactly the same talent/ability layout as the level 3 version (one more talent than the level 2 version, which is in accordance with the game rules), and the level 5 version does not add any extra talents on top of that (which is also how it should be). So if you recruited him at level 3 and he has one talent more than everybody else, you can just invest in one that's useless to him (like Shot on the Run) to restore the beautiful balance.
  16. If I recruit Eder at level 3, he comes with "Rapid Recovery" and "Weapon Focus: Ruffian", two talents. If I recruit him at level 2, he doesn't have WF:R, only Rapid Recovery. Since he doesn't get to choose another talent at level 3, he's objectively worse than if I had recruited him later. This is nonsensical.
  17. The performance issues are probably a bit idiosyncratic. I'm running PoE on a very modest i5-4590, Radeon 285, 8 GB RAM + Win7 x64 system, and I never drop below 60 fps. I know many people refuse to play anything below 120 fps, but the game feels smooth enough for me.
  18. I made a Wood Elf Cipher and tested Distant Advantage extensively in the tutorial area - it always worked well, and it still works in all my save games between the tutorial and Gilded Vale. Shortly after recruiting Eder and entering the wilderness, I noticed that DA had completely stopped working - I stripped naked, used the same bow as I had used in the tutorial, but I absolutely could no longer see any accuracy difference in the log between standing next to an enemy and standing at max bow range There were no bigger buffs overriding the effect either - I had 31 accuracy in the tutorial that got buffed to 36 at max bow range, and now I have 31 accuracy that remains at 31 accuracy at max bow range. I also killed my companions to make extra sure that wasn't the issue, but no -- even solo I can no longer get DA, and it no longer shows up under active effects. edit: somebody else reported the same problem with another racial here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/71895-towering-physique-error/
  19. Exactly, which is why they should be removed entirely.
  20. XP has been quest exclusive for over a year now, and that's not going to change.
