Well...the hotifix is not really an issue. As for standalone patches, GoG had it up the day after Steam (not bad as was Easter weekend) and is only 80mb compared to Steams 800. Now you decide...which do you prefer huh?

The issue is not the expression of an opinion. The issue is catering to nutjobs and caving to what amounts to nothing short of soft terrorism. Nobody would have cared about the crazy nobody that whined on Twitter about the memorial, had it not been for Sawyer actually responding to them like it was something to be taken seriously, and then Obsidian actually addressing it, despite the insistance from the actual fans that they should not let things like this dictate policy. I dunno what the chip on your shoulder is, but you better HOPE we're a tiny minority of Obsidian's customers. There are currently 625 people browsing this forum. If that's more than half of the people who bought POE then the game just tanked hard. You do understand that a very small percentage of a games players actually bother to come to a forum right? And those that have, and conducted in this poll...GoG users are far from a small minority. I'll equate Steam to One Direction, Miley, Beiber....just because something is popular and sheep masses flock to it, make it good it does not. As for hoping, ummm why?
