So we can't edit what we imported. Ok, I don't need to change anything for my first character. I'll set things manually for the others. Shouldn't miss much, according to what he says.

@Cottonwolf I like your suggestions. I want to keep Aloth and Xoti as pure casters too. But Pallegina and Eder I'll probably have as multiclass. Herald looks interesting.

To anyone who played the Beta, what builds do you suggest for the companions? Is any of the combinations too bad or really good? One of my characters was a Wolf Druid, but I will change her into a Druid/Ranger and pretend that Eothas caused her spirit to split, causing her to loose the ability to turn into a wolf and gaining a spiritual animal companion.

Can we import a savegame and edit it to change a thing or two? I'm considering turning my Paladin character into a Paladin/Priest, but I may have betrayed a god or two. Or every one... Sorry if this has been answered before, but I have not been following all the news for Deadfire.

Eder, Pallegina and Aloth were in my PoE 1 party. So I'll keep them. The last spot probably goes to Xoti. It'll be interesting to see her reactions to Eothas' actions. My second playthrough will be with my PoE 1 evil character who traveled with Kana. So I'll choose Maia, Serafen.and the blue guy. My third playthrough will be with a viking custom party. Not sure there is anything like that in Eora, but the Deadfire is huge and I'll just assume a similar culture exists somewhere.

WM makes it easy: Maneha.

Don't forget monster girls. Harpies, lamias, slimes and mermaids, of course. But no catgirls. Eora has stelgaergirls.

This is difficult. But I think Baldur's Gate 2 wins because of nostalgia. 1- Baldur's Gate 2 2- Pillars of Eternity 3- Divinity Original Sin 4- Ultima VIII (I learned English because of this game, there was no other way to advance lol) With free world exploration and all the cool stuff I think PoE2 might make it to the top of the list.

Maybe it's called Deadfire for a reason. And why is everyone "suddenly" interested in it. Rauatai, Old Vailia(?)... Eothas is going there too, there must be a secret engwithan machine there or a natural access to the souls inside the planet.

The only thing I really want to change is Aloth's ending for one of my characters. I checked my screenshots and it's the same for the two times I finished the game. But I want to see a different Aloth when I play PoE2 a second time. If there is a new death godlike portrait for my second character, then I might use it, because I had a custom one in the first game. As for class, since we go back to level 1, I don't see the point of forcing it to stay the same. It would only be for the first level, so why not let people change it?

If you think that is bad, think about characters that are priests of Eothas. They are gonna be even more angry.

And here I thought that, having played the game twice already, there was no risk of spoilers. If only five characters of my custom party will make it into the sequel, then it means one of them won't survive the White March part II.

If I were a giant statue buried deep underground and I found out about PoE2, I would rip my way out too!

They were all in my party on my first playthrough. So I guess it's time to play the White March with that character.
