  1. It's shocking that a guy that lives in a literal gold tower doesn't care about poor people. Who could have predicted such a thing?

  2. I'm more concerned about Trump trying to end cashless bail than the flag stuff, which, really doesn't matter at all, and has no impact on anyone's life. That said, I have no faith that the Supreme Court won't bend to Trump on this, but it should still pretty unlikely since it's been ruled to be protected free speech. If you can't afford bail you can sit behind bars for weeks, months, or even over a year while waiting for trial just because you're poor. These aren't people who the judge has denied bail because of the seriousness of the crime or their criminal history, but rather people who have been granted bail and just can't afford it.

  3. As the title says. Drying racks should be able to pull material from nearby storage, rather than the current pattern of grabbing the thing you want to dry, taking it to the rack, putting it on the hooks and the re-depositing the remainder. I would even go so far as to say a bit of pre-sorting could be applied to the drying rack, where when you look at it to decide what you want to add to it, it only shows what *can* be added to it, instead of all the things you have in your inventory that can't. This is similar to how the station that makes thread doesn't show you rocks, or food in its list of things you can make using it; only the web and plant fiber.

  4. Hard to use the bow “late-game,” when my kills don’t count and I am unable to acquire the sharpshooter mutation. Hasn’t budged from 10/40 kills with the bow.

  5. Can I ask why you think it goes too far? At worse it can be mildly insulting, but I don't consider it a priority. There are western states that prohibit flag desecration (France and Germany) and those that don't (Canada and Britain). In either case, it doesn't appear to impact them in any significant way. I suspect this is more of a priority for flag-hugging Republicans, and I suspect that prohibiting it in apparent violation of the First Amendment is a slippery slope.

  6. How's that too far? Near idolatry of symbols isn't a good form of patriotism

  7. I propose we add a new type of buggy to the game which is the Jumping Spider (more specifically Naphrys pulex). It is a small sized spider that is slightly smaller than the Red Soldier Ant and is neutral unlike all the other spiders that has more personality which is very curious and inquisitive. They will only attack if you attack them or steal their eggs. The Jumping Spider will drop Jumping Spider parts, fangs and webs on death. Maybe we could have a set of armour, a weapon and other miscellaneous items to build alongside the usual trophies. You’ll be able to take the egg and hatch it into a Jumping Spider Buggy. They aren’t as fast and powerful as an Orb Weaver but can make up for that by being able to jump very long distances or high up places on top of being able to walk on those web bridges like the Orb Weaver. Other than petting it, you can also teach it tricks like unique dances or being able to fetch a basketball. Hope you like the idea and consider it’s addition!

  8. You gave it a good perk while also keeping it from being OP. Then you added in some fun to it like dancing and fetch. I like the idea.

  9. Hello there The Buggy in my opinion is defaulting way to close to the Player when OOC. It happens sometimes that the buggie is roaming around right in front of my nose making it very hard to pick up items. I think this would be fixed by adding a little bit more distance as default as the problem comes from the buggy standing inside of me. Cheers Maex

  11. Just for emphasizing the healing/regeneration theme ("Vigorous Warthog"). Returning Storm is a fine pick for spell mastery in general.

  12. Like 3-4 weeks ago, I discovered that my iPhone has whats called "standby mode". When its connected to a wireless charger, and rotated 90 degrees, then the screen changes to a clock and a widget. So I moved my normal alarm clock down to the living room just for a time display. My wife will hit the snooze button like crazy and I ask her why she doesnt just set the alarm for later rather than snoozing every 9 minutes but she just shrugs.

  13. Do you guys use your phone as the alarm clock these days? I still find the quartz clock super loud beeping that gets faster and faster or the 'big ben" firebell alarm to be best for waking you up. Y'know, the sort that can be heard down the hallway into the living room. Music/the radio has never worked for me. Digital sounds through speakers also not great, for me. Of course, actually getting up and not flopping back onto your pillow is another matter. My husband annoyed me with one hour of blasting radio music or beepbeepbeep snooze-alarming, every single morning, for many many years. That on top of his 80-100decibel snoring (made my ears ring sometimes) eventually chased me out of sleeping in the same bed. I've slept so much deeper/better since. Pffft.

  15. Is it possible that you've upgraded it? Then it will be grayed out in the quick menu, and you'll have to re-equip it. It should still be in your inventory. Unfortunately, since Grounded 1, upgraded weapons are no longer available in the quick menu and need to be re-equipped.

  16. Greetings friends! Patch 0.1.3 has arrived for all players. Please update your game when you see the patch is available. If you do not see the update right away, please try verifying your game files or restarting your console. Thank you all so much for your patience and support. Your feedback, suggestions, and bug reports have been invaluable with helping us build Grounded 2 together. If you continue to experience any further issues, please contact us at Obsidian Support. Quality of Life Updates Snail Shells will now automatically despawn after 24 hours. Added various “Game Repair Options for fixing saves: We intend this to be a quick fix while we work on an some major changes down the road Added a “Creature Reset option” - This should move back all creatures to their intended locations Added a “Reset Buggy” option - This will send all Buggy's back to the nest no matter the state they are in around The Park. Added UI about Save Data limits being capped to 10. In 0.1.2 update we put a limit on the amount of saves a player can have per world. Players before the update can still have hundreds of saves and we are noticing various performance issues because of this change. We recommend deleting unneeded saves to increase your performance. Major Bug Fixes We've made significant improvements to game stability, with an estimated 30% performance gain compared to version 0.1.2.1. As we are in Early Access, we will continue to improve this throughout development. Crash Fixes: Resolved a crash triggered when fleeing from the ORC Wave. Fixed crashes occurring when accessing various UI menus. Addressed several other crash scenarios. General performance improvements were made when opening UI. Fixed various issues on the backend with not being to login to your Microsoft account on all platforms. Resolved an issue where certain players could not start the Mysterious Stranger Fight in certain scenarios. Fixed a progression break where the passage to Ice Sickles arena would become blocked after a Save and Load. Resolved an issue where some creatures appeared without textures. Patched several duplication exploits involving Buggy inventory. Fixed an issue where consumables used on Buggies had infinite duration. Story/Quests Players who complete the MIX.R before doing the ORC Receivers quests, will now have all quests up to "Wait Theres More" be auto completed upon completion of the MIX.R. The Park Resources will no longer respawn through player-built structures. You will have to chop down resources already growing through your base after the update, but after chopping it down it should not return. ORC creatures will now remain stationed at their intended guard posts instead of roaming. Fixed an issue where players were prompted to repurchase pebblet foundations. Players should no longer spawn on top of the skybox. Buggies Removed Unused Torch UI from the buggy The User can still equip a torch on their buggy: Mouse and Keyboard: By using “5” or use “V” for the Hotpouch. For Controller: Hold “LB” then use the Right stick to select the torch. Combat Fixed a bug where only two mutations were equipped after saving and loading. Addressed multiple bugs related to losing equipment. The mantis should no longer freeze mid-air during its jump attack. Fixed a bug where certain ORC Creature cards could not be retrieved after defeating them. This fix should be retroactive to your save file. Audio Corrected various robotic voice from various teenagers. UI Rust will now display correctly instead of showing as an “Invalid Harvest Node.” Fixed the issue where changing the Omni-Tool Key Bind in the Settings, does not update the UI Prompt for the "Repair" Action Resolved the Omni-Tool and Interact key binds were conflicting with each other.

  17. I love the underwater base building idea so much!!!! Atlantis vibes! Also, I 100% agree with the omnitool comment. The concept is great, no inventory space lost to necessary tools, but the feel of it is frustrating, and the keybind being the same as interacting is driving me nuts. Harvesting with the omnitool is so SLOW. yes, I know the ant buggy makes it faster to chop, but constantly having to jump on and off to chop and carry weed stems makes the whole base building experience, well...just overall less enjoyable. Plus, the sour axe was one of my all time favorite weapons/tool combos. Even into NG+ in grounded 1. And Agreed, buggy friends need to learn some personal space, I have sent mine back to base so many times for getting in the way.

  18. Hello friends! Here are the patch notes for Hotfix 0.1.2.1 Resolved an issue that caused players to crash when the Founders Pack equipped. Addressed an issue that should fix AI pathing behavior. Due to an unintended issue - The ORC bee by the blueberry bush should now move back to their intended location. Various stability enhancements have been made, including improvements to the process of sending your buggy home. Hopefully this will help players progress through the story. We are continuing to work on the existing issues in the game as well as any new reports that come in. Please feel free to submit a support ticket if you run into any issue with the game. Obsidian Support Thanks!

  19. Multiplayer: Non host players will freeze after a certain amount of playtime. The freeze will stay 15-30 seconds and then unfreeze. It happens again within a few minutes. Sometimes it leads to disconnecting from the game or even crashing the game.

  22. https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/08/prosecuting-burning-of-the-american-flag/ Trump wants to pass a law where burning the US flag can get you prosecuted I support this and I have never understood how this type of behaviour was normalized and fine You can get angry with your government and protest legally but burning your flag goes too far " Our great American Flag is the most sacred and cherished symbol of the United States of America, and of American freedom, identity, and strength. Over nearly two-and-a-half centuries, many thousands of American patriots have fought, bled, and died to keep the Stars and Stripes waving proudly. The American Flag is a special symbol in our national life that should unite and represent all Americans of every background and walk of life. Desecrating it is uniquely offensive and provocative. It is a statement of contempt, hostility, and violence against our Nation — the clearest possible expression of opposition to the political union that preserves our rights, liberty, and security. Burning this representation of America may incite violence and riot. American Flag burning is also used by groups of foreign nationals as a calculated act to intimidate and threaten violence against Americans because of their nationality and place of birth."
