  1. There's something profoundly funny about the US empire blowing itself up because an omega boomer doesn't understand global capital. My condolences, that hotel is going to look like dog ****.

  2. I saw, I'm laughing my ass off. I guess we export a lot of mattresses and tires, but it's all from US companies... hahahahaha... The icing on the cake is that we conceded the ruins of our old army command building (which the US destroyed in the bombing) and the adjoining complex to Trumps son in law. The Trump hotel is supposed to built in it's place. To make it even more funny, the buildings are protected under our law as a cultural heritage. So now our cultural heritage is going to be the Trump hotel.

  3. I haven't really noticed it. I get security updates every other month and I don't use any of their apps. The first thing I do when I get a new phone is pull up the apps list and uninstall everything it will let me uninstall.

  4. 10% tariff on the penguins living on the Heard and McDonald islands near Antarctica. 10% tariff on the British Indian Ocean Territory which has one inhabited island - Diego Garcia - whose population are military servicemen of the US and UK.

  5. It would take a while for the effects to be felt, if they are felt. But in theory at least elsewhere prices should drop as US prices rise and demand drops there. Though of course there are many outside the US who would like to keep the high prices even with greater supply, not least AMD/ nVidia/ Intel. Retailers would also love massive margins on greater sales numbers, hence the April 1st reference. (It's a bit of an open question how much computer stuff is going to be subject to these tariffs, though they most likely will. "Semiconductors" are specifically excluded. But, previous policy suggest that that is for the base chips only, not packaged GPUs- and presumably CPUs too. Finished GPUs were subjected to tariffs in 2024 under Biden, bringing back those imposed under Trump1, to try and force them to be assembled in the US)

  6. Because of the complexity of the ruleset and because I am not familiar with Pathfinder ruleset I set Kingdom Management on Automatic I read some Beginners Tips and this was recommended and also Im playing this game for the RPG element and other mechanics, I dont have an interest in spending hours micromanaging my kingdom because this seems to a point of real criticism about the game

  7. I enjoyed it a lot more when I turned on the automatic kingdom management. That made it more of a traditional cRPG with plenty of exploring and combat, but none of the management headaches. It's still buggy at times though.

  8. Yes, but this isn't anything like those. You just follow orders, spend a lot of time watching training videos or reading materials on LAPD SWAT tactics in the 90s. Then go into some old lady's house and either take her into custody or give her a burst of 9mm to the chest. Just like PQ4 though, Gates' influence is still here, the cops talk straight from regulations

  9. Results of my test are: - Spell damage scales with character level but it can be penalized by low quality of equipped weapon. You need equipped weapon or offhand at least the tier of the enemy (in reach of 3 ranks) to not suffer penalty to damage done (this penalty scale also with difficulty settings). - Summoned weapons scale with the highest tier of equipped items - including boots, gloves, neklace, rings. Accessories don't have quality prefix but they are color coded (blue = fine, purple = excellent, red = superb, gold = legendary). Summoned weapons scale to both quality and rank of the highest quality armor or weapon (max to legendary +3), but in tests with accessory only summoned weapon always use its tier +0. - Skulls indicators aren't important. They inform of challange rating only. With tier II armor and tier I weapon enemy of tier II has no skulls while player is still penalized in terms of damage done, but he will receive normal damage from that enemy thanks to fine armor. Skulls are calculated based on all equipped items, but penalty to damage output and incoming damage are two separated things, realitve to enemy tier while damage is done.

  11. It turns out the tech-bros have their own monkey's paw: after years of the Moldbug disciplines plotting to install a king, they got a their guy and he has a 16th century monarch's understanding of trade.

  13. It's classic D&D, there's tons of debuffs, and you have to have the specific spells to counter each one with you. Kingmaker is overall a good game, but there's a bunch of different design decisions I didn't really like. Like all crisis are basically loads of **** thrown at your kingdom until you solve the main quest. Meaning it's not really a "build your kingdom" -game, more of a try to not make everything fall apart. Speaking of which, I'm trying Wrath of the Righteous again. Played it through once already, now trying to actually get somewhere on Core difficulty, with a different Mythic path.

  14. I agree 100% with Boeroer. In PoE1 the real difference among priests is weapon bonus and for Wael the best choice is quarterstaff. After that it all a matter of spells choice and style of play. You can make the difference RPG-wise performing a Wael's priest with decisions, actions and speaking... but Wael is somenthing about kwnoledge and mystery, so you can be almost a chaotic character... With quarterstaff behinf the first line you can be a supporter/healer/buffer/debuffer, you can use your ACC bonus with weapon to deal damage and some afflictions, with mid PER/ACC you can achieve to be a good buffer/healer. Late level with Minor Avatar and so on you can begin to be a great melee charcater Anyway: works, anything works particularly in a party, but it seems to me that those 2 points over 10 in RES is a little waste, better put them in MIG for more healing and damage or in INT for buff/debuff duration.

  15. I wonder what thd penguins on Norfolk Island did to offend him, getting slapped with af 29% tariff He is probably just upset that hey are more stylish in appearance, looking classy in formal suits edit there is also 2000 people on the island, but no known trade has ever happened with the US, so somewhat unaffected by tariffs (the damage being collateral because the global economy worsens)
