Unless you're making serious bank, supporting trickle down is a tacit admission that you're a bottom into watersports. Which not to kink shame anyone, but I'd prefer if they kept that in the bedroom (or bathroom) instead of making sure the rest of us get less and less while all the useless government(s) do is buy more bombs to kill children in ultra-precise and moral carpet bombing campaigns or give the police tanks or occasionally harass teh gheystransgoinders. I do think it's ridiculous how much an anti-rich populistic approach could work in many places but doesn't because those politicians and parties are spineless cowards. Seriously, people ****ing hate their bosses, they hate their landlords, and they're pissed off they have to spend an obscene amount of money just to live when dip****s who lucked into money blow months worth of a prole's pay on an overcooked steak with gold on it or some other stupid ****. I guess we'll have to bring out the pitchforks ourselves. And I do think we really got to go after the media, because their delusional bothsides nonsense is how a bunch of people end up believing in nonsense like unprecedented crime waves or millions and millions of rapefugees coming in to eat the dogs or executing infants or even horse**** like trickle down are things worth serious debate instead of needing to be treated the same way as flat earthers. For all the braindead conservatives wail about being persecuted by the media if the bastions of journalism weren't working double time to sanitize them they'd have been relegated to the dustbin of history decades ago.

Finally I've had the time to see this video and comment it on Youtube. I wanna say not only @Boeroer is a myth of this community and forum, but you with @Aestus have explained very well the core concept behind these builds without wasting time in other particulars not central for the builds. Boeroer is great writing down builds but he is quite better in talking about those with his mellow voice, and I don't really hear a german accent I wonder if you have some defects, now I'm imaging you almost as a deity - maybe obsidian can reserve you a place in PoE3 pantheon 😜 Thank you 2 again for this video, I'm looking forward for other Aestus videos and/or Boeroer contents as always

Hi all! Several days before I've encountered a new problem in PoE 2: I can't save the game anymore via Main menu -> Save game. The menu is displayed, I have a Save button, but when I pressing it nothing happens. I have searched this forum a bit, and did not found the issue like that. All my prevoius save games are present in the list, and I'm still ableto save game via hot keys for Quick Save - this is how I'm continuing to play. But today I decided that the issue is really annoying, so here I am. I have the last Steam version with pre-order bonus and gaun's pledge additional content, no mods, most of the steam cloud space for this game is free, the space on HDD-s is also OK.

Started watching this evening. Best points : 1) Now I've heard Boeroer's voice. 2) Now I know how Boeroer's name has to be pronounced. 3) Really appreciate the perspective in which you put the question : what are builds about ? This question is quite interesting because we're all putting vast hours of our lives in this power fantasy, but it is all about that ? Power ? If anything, Boeroer has treated PoE builds like an art. I mean, in the closest way you can make art from a bunch of stats and fun looking pieces of equipment. Just trying to be creative, consitent with a thematic, and somehow almost elegant. It might have been possible only for 3 reasons : - PoE is PvE CRPG. Sure, a PvP and/or hack'n slash would favor bid bad raw DPS. - PoE whole system is excellent, quite open and allows to do a whole bunch of stuff. It might have the best multiclassing system ever made, and each class is quite well-defined on its own. - Of course, Boeroer own personality. That said, I'm going to bed now. I'll continue watching soon.

I just found Dark Souls 3 at 65% off, so I guess I am continuing my FromSoftware binge. While it downloads, one quick reply (a longer might yet come): Well, yes, I ran into that problem too, which is why Gwyn is one of the few bosses that I had to try more than twice in my original Dark Souls run. Insofar I guess he's harder than Nashandra or Aldia, both of which I killed on my first try, but not overly so, but my game experience with Dark Souls taught me relatively early that when staying away does not seem to work it is usually sticking close that makes things easier. Like the repeated Asylum Demon fights, where the winning strategy is to stick really close to its ass and only run out when it takes off or sits down. Or, well, at least it is when you're playing an accidental glass cannon build and the attacks with the explosion right on top of your character don't happen when you're close and behind the enemy. Although yeah, that probably depends a lot on one's build.

Oi, I even forgot to mention: to make matters worse, the Freedom Party are Friends of Putin (tm). For real, I mean, they have a pact of friendship and cooperation with United Russia (i.e. Putin's party).

Colony Ship - I don't know how I slept on this one for so long, it is a very good RPG. I think it's because Age of Decadence never really won me over, despite a lot of attempts to play through it. Colony Ship is a lot more polished and has a great storyline so far.

Goal nr. 7/2024 achieved. September 28, 22:30 – I took a small break from DS2 NG+ and played through the original story of Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate Edition on PS4. This unlock Frost and two arenas. It took me about 4 and half hours and if I remember it correctly, I enjoyed the story mode more than in Mortal Kombat X and 2011. Hi, Critical hits with timed hostile effects (including afflictions but also DoT effects etc.) will cause +25% duration. Overpenetration does nothing for duration. If the spell has an attack roll (accuracy vs. defense) it can critically hit (there are some minor exceptions, e.g. Carnage which can never crit, only hit). CC spells with no damage still do an attack roll - so they can critically hit (+25% duration). If the spell has a PEN-value it can overpenetrate. Should be only spells that deal non-raw damage. Raw damage spells have no PEN value and thus cannot under- or overpenetrate. Many spells that have multiple effects and will have more than one attack roll: one for the damage, one for the affliction. In case of Venombloom (Druid spell) for example: AoE: 8-12 Raw | Accuracy vs. Deflection per 3.0 sec (first attack roll for damage - can crit, but no PEN bc. raw dmg) If successful: Weakened for 8.0 sec | Accuracy vs. Fortitude per 3.0 sec (second attack roll for weaken - can crit, but no PEN bc. no damage) Target: Frightened for 8.0 sec | Accuracy vs. Will (third attack roll for frighten - can crit, but no PEN bc. no damage) Overpenetration: no effect on duration. Crits: +25% duration - usually those abilities like Crippling Strike also do two separate attack rolls: one for the damage and if that at least grazes, a second one for the affliction component. You can see that in the description of the ability. It will say something like Target: Full Attack (that's the normal weapon attack you do, your weapon accuracy vs. enemies' deflection) If successful: Hobbled for 15.0 sec | Accuracy vs. Fortitude If the ability has PEN value it's for the damage part. Crippling Strike uses the PEN of your weapons and has an additional +2 PEN. THis value doesn't matter for the hobbling roll. Sometimes the affliction component does no attack roll but is an auto-hit (no graze, no crit). That is the case with Shadow Step's paralyze effect (Rogue's upgrade for Escape). But this is very rare. Usually it's two separate rolls: one for the damage and one for the affliction (or whatever additional effect a weapon ability might provide)

Describe the Issue I am having this same issue. At first i thought it was because my saves were at max so I opened the folder with the game running and deleted half my saves to no avail. I then ended up moving to another area so it would Autosave, then quit the game. Here is all the files you may need for this issue. I noticed that if i quit the game, then reopen it I can save again. Not sure why this is. Steps to Reproduce the issue 1) I open the menu 2) I click save on new save (Don't get a response) 3) I click save on an old save 4) It asks if i am sure, and i click yes 5) It closes the dialog box but does not save Important files DxDiag.txt output_log.zip I'll email saves as it says they are to large to upload even when zipped.

Just came home from voting (we have general elections). I am not looking forward to the results, which will undoubtely lead to a nationalist-conservative government. There may or may not be a time period where the conservatives are "trying" to "negotiate" with other parties only to "fail" because everyone but the Nazis were "unreasonable", and for the "sake of the country" they now need to basically swallow the "bitter pill" and form a coalition with them. For the good of the nation and stability, as it were. Which is hilarious because so far every single time the Freedom Party was part of a government, said government imploded and dissolved well before the legislative period was over. You know, basic conservative logic: better to destroy what there is than to give the plebes half a breadcrumb. Not entirely certain why the people keep electing a corrupt cadre of politicians who only look out for themselves and their own, but it probably has something to do with "rapefugees" and "civil war with knives" and whatnot. The right-wing and nationalist parties already stated that they are going to finance tax cuts by dialing back refugee support and reducing the needs-based minimum income that we have. See, the funny thing is, overall, these amount to like 2% of our budget. The tax cuts they want amount to something like eight times as much. Mind, not that you get the idea that their proposed tax cuts would benefit employees, lel. No, no, for the employees and the common people they're planning to reduce secondary labour costs. Which, you know, are something the companies pay on top of the wages. Conservative logic: both the tax cuts and reduction of labour costs will trickle down to the actual wages. Trickle down economics is something that will work if only tried often enough, yes? <Insert something witty about Einstein and the definition of insanity here> Which brings me to the glaring problem our center and left-wing parties have: they cannot for the life of them, just once, be more populistic. The people, as it were, spurred on by media, do not want to hear about how it is going to be legally impossible to repatriate Afghani citizens. They want to be told that it will be done, by breaking the law if need be. That is dangerous territory, I agree, but if you leave that path to the Nazis then there's much more danger yet to come. And just in case we're once again believing the Freedom Party that they are not Nazis because they said they're not, just now there were some high ranking Nazis singing a SS anthem at a funeral, with every party reacting to it, calling it an outrage. Except for the conservatives, who just stated that this just shows that the Freedom party's leader has contacts to right-wing extremists (no, you blathering conservative idiots, that is the party, not just the party leader - the one you already want to form a government with just so you can stop worrying about dealing with parties who want equal rights for the disgusting homos and trans people). The Freedom Party is of course not bothered by their party members attending a funeral where SS anthems are sung, no, they're bothered that a whisteblower leaked the video just before the election. One really needs to crack down on whisteblowers. Can't have that. Who films people at funerals doing what comes natural in their grief. *sigh*
