Well, what do you know, the current used car market has its advantages, while the repairs will run around 7 to 8k, it's still below what I could sell it for. Supply shortage and supply chain interruptions are still a thing too though, so it'll take a bit until all the replacement parts come in. Win some, lose some, I guess.1 point

To use a "dumb" multi-M.2 adapter like that, I believe you need a motherboard that supports PCIe bifurication, and the end result depends on how the motherboard splits the lanes, e.g. 8/8, 8/4/4, or 4/4/4/4. I believe this is how a card like the Asus Hyper M.2 works. If your motherboard doesn't support bifurication, then you would need a card that has the smarts included, and those things will cost many hundreds of dollars.1 point

They literally did what they were doing for decades now. This is a shift in the western politics. The question to ask would be why now?1 point

Honestly, the best thing about World of Warcraft was that at the time they used very simple graphics to make the game look pretty, compared to a lot of other MMOs that went for amazing but ran crap on a lot of people's hardware.1 point

New creatures idea: Flea. Grasshopper/cricket - provide grass stems/planks for player if tamed. Daytime butterflies - give scale to make a paraglider that makes the player fly longer than the dandelion seed. Wings can be used as wall decor. Crane fly. Earthworm. Dragonfly - a ferocious creature that attack by sight and pursue player relentlessly as long the dragonfly is aware of player. European stag beetle. Centipede - extremely dangerous with a toxic bite - if killed it gives recipe so player can make a special toxic weapon. Centipede meat is to poisonous for player to eat but can be used to kill of ants if they eat it. Acid spitting soldier termite. An accurate termite king ( not a oversized spiky soldier termite as in game now ).1 point

Bombus Terrestris (the type of bumblebee in the game) useally live in abandoned rodents nest underground, inside a old hollow log on the ground ect. They ar not using hanging nests like the one previously in the game (and still can be seen in the treetop). Ideas for a beehives: A in the ground half buried hollow log with a endhole like those in the woodstack the termites live in. The hive is horizontal only but goes deep through the entire log. A "cavish" hive at the end of a small tunnel with entrance hole in the flowerbed stone setting at the right part of the garden. An old teracotta flowerpot flipped sideways and half buried in the in a waste pile of green and trashed flowerpots in the upper garden.1 point

Europe has not been peaceful for 8000 years, even then it was probably because people had to travel several years in order to bash their neighbors heads. 1900s- there were two world wars, but it was conflict full century As we can see not many conflict free years there List does not have Conflicts involving European states that happened outside of European continent And current century is not any better1 point

This is such a great idea. There is already a crack in the window upstairs....there are a few other areas like the shed and the gas station outside the yard that I would literally pay to buy a DLC expansion of. Think of all the new enemies, crafting materials and blueprints that could be made. They could even have their own mini stories!1 point

Decided that this gen's actual mid tier cards are likely to be crap, so picked up a 6750XT for cheap. So it's now guaranteed that the 7700/7800XT will be the apex of efficiency, value for money and computing power.1 point

Since the owner's wife took the kids and left he really let the place go... Explore new locations and biomes! Carpet Forests: chop down the 'trees' for a new building resource, Carpet logs. Grind them up for a great source of lint! The Under-couch: Venture into the darkest dust mite filled caves full of secrets and treasures. The Linoleum Coliseum, where the bravest warriors stand against the toughest bugs. Be warned an unkillable monster stalks the house... The Mouse! Can be scared away using bombs, or hidden from with shinobi sneeze. New bugs! Passive Fleas, they thirst for blood...but maybe you can satiate them? Tameable, blood slurry made from bed bug sacks. Flea Friend perk, heals from non food / smoothie sources increased. Neutral Earwigs, also scavenges by nature, they have nasty pincers and a scent shot for protection. They usually attack prey backwards. Roaches, These bugs are tough to kill but maybe you can utilize its shell? Silverfish, they roam the forest at night eating left over resources...be careful of leaving too much lying around. Aggressive Flies, an extra large, extra loud, predator of the house. Be ready for a tough fight. Bed bugs, technically he used to sleep on the couch quite often so its like a bed right? Boss: Beelzebuzz: a Horse fly with a lot of attitude, take caution the bug is very tough and fast. Summoned with a Demon's Smoothie. New craftables! Tier 4 is here! Sliverfinned Axe; 3 silver cellulase, 1 roach leg, 2 earwig pincer, a devastating ax that cut through almost anything with ease. Molt Masher; 4 great gunk, 2 spicycrackers, 3 roach shells. Hammer that is tough enough to break bedbug molts among other things. Molted Shovel; 3 bb molt, 1 roach shell, 1 fly fluid. One of the strongest shovels, can dig up treasure in the coach. New Throwables! Flashbug bombs; 1 gunpowder, 3 firefly goo, 2 silverfish scales. Deals low explosion damage but stuns most bugs. (can only stun bugs once per combat.) Spicycracker; 3 gunpowder, 2 spicy shards, 2 silverfish scales. Attracts some attention but deals a small bit of explosion damage and creates a small puddle of spicey that inflicts burn on those who enter. Mintbreath grenade; 2 gunpowder 2 mint shards, 2 silverfish scales. Creates a small explosion that leaves a fresh smokescreen thats slows enemies attacks.1 point

That would be cool, like opposite of the sand box or grill where you have a chilly meter. I also saw another post where they said something about adding an ant farm that fell out of a window with exotic ants. An ant farm would be great for a tier 4 ant indoors. Exotic insects indoors under the premise as pets for the kids or study subjects by Wendel could help expand what insects obsidian uses.1 point

I was also thinking of just one room such as the kitchen which could provide an entire freezer biome.1 point

The best part is they don't have to do the entire house if that's too big of a project. They can keep it down to one room with shut doors keeping you from exploring the rest of the house. Maybe open some up when they expand the house to new rooms with new resources. And they don't even have to load the yard client side while the player is inside to save on processing, they can if they want to but keeping it separate seems like a better idea.1 point

I had an idea for the devs making the house a playable area, but you made the idea 1000x better!1 point

I broke my foot last sunday. I did it in the most stupid way possible. Then again I'm not sure if there is a smart way to break a bone. I was at Rammstein concert and I had drank too many drinks so I had to pee. When coming back I took the wrong stairs, because I had drank too many drinks. I took stairs up when I should have taken stairs down. I ended at bleachers. I'll just jump down from here, I thought. It'll be fine, I thought. It wasn't fine and I missed most of the Rammstein concert.0 points
