  1. Past hour
  2. As I said, I am just going to build up Sanctuary and wander around. No need to enter the ballpark. Maybe I'll go in once to get Valentine.
  3. Ooph that's a weird one. What it looks like it some of the ".assets" files might have become corrupted. The files "sharedassets0.assets", "sharedassets0.assets.resS", "sharedassets1.assets" and "sharedassets1.assets.resS" are the files that contain the assets for main menu start up. If those are present in the "PillarsOfEternityII_Data" directory, try deleting them, then verifying the integrity of the game files through GoG-Galaxy/Steam
  4. Today
  5. Hmm, you could try swapping the models and materials referenced in that in characters.unity3d around see if that changes anything? Maybe that could work? I dunno though, despite multiple attempts I've never managed to crack editing the contents of assetbundles. Most recently I was trying to swap around some conversation portraits for npcs that use the same portrait. No matter what edits I make to the file paths, nothing changes. I try to understand, but nothing ever changes...
  6. I know this is the 'net and we could all simply "disappear" at any time, for whatever reasons etc. - I probably wouldn't have thought about it without that "forum software sucks" post. Just made me wonder, is all. I've been gone for months at time more than once myself ... I just eventually keep coming back. Re: Guard Dog - he's also crossed my mind now and again and I do remember the health issue posts. Hope he's doing fine/beat those/happy.
  7. I don't know about 3 minutes, but right now I'm just exploring the map, so it's rare that I have to transition to a new place. It does take awhile when I do transition, but it's probably about 20 seconds.
  8. Minor update, This is just to upload @SenSx updated translation and Forbidden Fist scaling nerf suggested by @yorname that I have agreed before. These were not super priority changes, but I have to do the queued updates once in a while. Deadfire Balance Polishing Mod at Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
  9. It's still Biden's best play politically since the votes he's losing from students getting beaten up and abetting Netanyahu* killing kids, medics, journalists and volunteers, bombing hospitals, blowing up hospitals, demolishing universities, using food and water as collective punishment and weapons of war may be lost votes for him but at least won't be gained votes for Trump. That makes them half the political value of pro Israelis since they would (potentially) vote Trump. *probably Biden's biggest actual problem. The irony is that by giving unconditional support you've actually given away all your influence and told Bibi he can do whatever he likes. Hence the immense embarrassment of having ABlinken talking about how the current ceasefire offer is extraordinarily generous while you have Netanyahu saying he'll invade Rafah with or without it, deliberately undermining everything. Just makes Biden look incredibly weak and utterly spineless.
  10. Biden's approval of his handling of the Gaza conflict among the 18-25 demographic is at 22% or thereabouts, which is completely terrible. They won't forget being dismissed as antisemitic on little to no evidence, or that that they were dubbed "outside agitators" when this was not true. They are absolutely going to hold a grudge against the Democratic party that Trump can exploit. Trump is no different on Israel, he is even plausibly worse, but Trump is an enemy, he's not a friend who stabbed you in the back, that's always worse. He tried to walk the tightrope by steadily walking up his critique of Israel, but it was so obviously dishonest that he managed to lose ground with both the pro Israelis and the pro Palestineans. You can't be all things to all people. Also, way to piss away the clout he got from pushing student debt relief. That should have been a huge winner for him with anyone in a similar situation.
  11. Fend off their attacks for roughly 5 minutes. The insects will disengage, and the raid will be over assuming you dispatched the mortal ones. I’ve no data on invisible bugs.
  12. Roughly 5 minutes, correct. Part of me thinks this is an intended mechanic. And I kinda like that.
  13. I thought this was a good recap if anyone feels as if they were jumping in on season 23 of the walking dead
  14. Probably shouldn't have submitted that forum poster romance fanfic to the Community Blog Gorth anonymous Blog submitter.
  15. The 2001 live action Tick series with Patrick Warburton, or the 2016 live action Tick series with Peter Serafinowicz?
  16. @Guard Dog checked in a longer while back and talked about some serious health issues. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd really want it just him being happy and busy and all that jazz, but... you know. Never been an optimist.
  17. I gave up on Fallout 3 super quick, so I decided to load up Fallout 4 and give it a try. I hadn't played it in like 6 years, I guess. It does look way better than FO3. There is color, and the HD texture pack is new to me, I think. So it's more fun to just walk around the wasteland. I never really go into the building a base stuff when I played it back in the day, so I think I'll just hang out in Sanctuary for awhile and see if I can make it look decent. I put up functioning lamp posts, and it does add a nice vibe to the place.
  18. I was going to ask if he isn't around because things worked out with the veterinarian.
  19. Gromnir hasn't logged in for a couple of months as well. My suspicion that we're all just one person's alt accounts has never felt closer to the truth...
  20. Also the "recover pet" option in the menu did not work when we tried to recover them that way
  21. I agree that the pets need more work. My partner and I lost 3 pets because they fell through the map. One of them being the baby black ant who we had stored multiple charms on. Now we cannot get any of it back because by the time we noticed there was no saves going back far enough, and even if there were we made too much progress to go back. Another issue we have with them is the collision. Our pets will send us flying because they will teleport under us while we are climbing things.
  22. After the new update I've been running into the issue where the waft emitter won't actually trigger a raid. The raid horn blows and then a few seconds later it says "Base defended" without actually spawning anything, and gives the materials back. I've tried summoning multiple things and it does the same thing no matter how many or what type of tributes I put in.
  23. Only until they are published
  24. Shamefully, I actually only finished New Vegas today. My two main playthroughs is this one, where I left a bunch of stuff not done nor explored, and went with the wild card ending. The other one, over 10 years ago, I did about everything except for some straggling quests and, critically, the actual ending. It would have been an NCR ending. Next I'm considering Tyranny which I've restarted a dozen times but never finished, Storm of Zehir which I also never finished, an evil MotB run, or a new NV playthrough with only Arcade Gannon and a robot as companions. Or something non Obsidian. My backlog is humongous.
