Star Wars: Outlaws - Pretty interesting so far. The world looks great and it is busy with lots of NPC's. The story and characters are solid. Your furry sidekick is adorable and useful. The controls are weird. It's a game designed for a controller but really doesn't need to be. I prefer M&K, and it is way better for looking around and firing the blaster, but it has some awkward bits. You don't have to reinvent the wheel, plenty of 3rd person games already have good keyboard layouts that you can copy. The stealth is a bit sloppy too. It plays a bit like the Hitman games. It is serviceable. Anyways, should be a fun game to play over winter break. I'm watching Solo as well, which is a good companion movie to the game. Honestly the game makes a lot more sense if you've watched all the animated stuff. The Pikes and Crimson Dawn aren't exactly mainstream Star Wars lore.

And they can use the war as an excuse to throw Venezuelans out of the country too, no?

I mean the US needs new veterans. I would imagine that since it's been a while from the last war the army is getting to be inexperienced. Looks like a perfect low risk opportunity, they just need Venezuela to fight back a little.

Allegedly we could get an announcement for a new Divinity title by Larian. Icon on teased Game Awards statue seems to align pretty well with recently discovered Divinity trademark. Which sounds like soon, with it would line up if they want to do Early Access again within the next year or so. https://mp1st.com/news/report-tga-statue-mystery-solved-new-divinity-trademark-uncovered-as-new-icon-matches-statue -

Blackbeard, err... Trump says the US has seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela Avast, me mateys. There be oil in them thar tankers. Arr, time to waylay the skurvy dogs. No news on whether the crew were forced to walk the plank. Maybe they were tossed into lifeboats so the navy can target them from afar?

Can't agree with that. There have been a lot of complaints- including in that article- about people being forced to go straight into combat after short training and the low life expectancy that brings. Or at least, there is the strong perception that that happens, which is probably more important than the objective reality in this case. And a fair few complaints at various times that even skilled/ specialist personnel are being forced into front line positions due to manpower shortages. End of the day if the majority were going into drone units or logistics or other 'cushy' jobs- or if that were the perception- they'd have a lot less problem with desertion in the first place. Not sure they can legally. Or if it was ever intended as a practical suggestion as opposed to a sort of 'aspirational' idea intended to put pressure on Russia and pander to anti immigration types. Don't think it really worked at all in either respect if it was.

By most accounts Ukraine is rarely forcing soldiers into the actual frontline trenches. Majority of AWOLs and shirkers won't turn violent if not forced to. How long they can keep up this approach is another matter.

Reading the Blood of Kerensky books, forgot what kind of writer Stackpole but remembered it a minute or two after buying it. Cheap at least, have to say Phelan Kell is special character. -

I deleted the saves, kept only one, no dice I now cannot even get into the game, no matter if I have all my saves or just the one, as soon as I select a save to load, it crashes with the same error, and now reinstall is not solving it, I have done so 5 times already. I guess I will wait for the next hotfix. Back to Sons of the forest on the meantime then hahaha

Periodically, when I am in the middle of a battle, my equipped weapon will stop shooting. I can aim, I can throw grenades, I can activate any abilities, however shooting or swinging with a melee weapon stops functioning. I can escape and go to menu and click items there, but then when I go back into the game itself, I have the same issue. I can click out of the game into another window, then click back into the game window and it doesn't fix it. When everything is working, I can still click in and out of Outer Worlds 2 to windows on another screen and back with no issues. If I close out the game and re-enter, it starts working again. Any suggestions on things to adjust in the settings to prevent this?

Update! I ****ing hate OKC. I can't put my finger on the exact reason and that bothers me more than anything else. I like that they are a small market team that's scrappy, but whenever I watch them, I can't stop hoping the other team wins.

I did Aunties missions first, told her i would think about it, and then went and did the order's missions. Got them onboard and went back to Auntie's people and the only option is to take the archive for Auntie. Two patches have released since the first posts from others on here about the issue I'm having and it still hasn't been fixed. Will there ever be a fix or are we just locked out of an ending?
