https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/venezuela-us-military-strikes-maduro-trump/ What an unexpected end to Maduros presidency The most mind blowing part is how Delta Force was able to infiltrate Caracas, kidnap him and get him on a plane to the US Where was his security forces, what a collapse of internal security But its an important first step, Maduro needed to go and this was relatively painless

Apparently the US captured Maduro and his wife.

Enshrouded: ---I'm 70% enjoying the game, I guess, but it feels similar to No Man's Sky, where as I unlock stuff and try things, I slowly realize 80% of the unlocks I have zero interest in/would never use. But NMS has the advantage of zillions of planets for random fresh starts vs. Enshrouded's static map and questing (even if it's pretty large). I think most (solo) people who get more than 100-200 hrs out of enshrouded are going to be the mega-builders, who want to make 5+ massive, 30hr+ to make each one, bases needing 1000's and 1000's of materials for both walls and deco (I swear 78% of crafting is deco, like spoons, plates, chairs, plants, lighting, etc). ---all I care about is block varieties (metal, wood, colors, styles), altar-placement-limit upgrades, backpack upgrades and storage upgrades. ---the farming is a cozy or mass production effort thing for those who like such. You don't have to do it if you don't want, you'll loot the minimums for main upgrades. ---the cooking/foods, far as I'm concerned, are too many and aren't that useful. Just like NMS. Maybe a few, or on hardest difficulties, but I mean, mostly it's a time-waster. ---weapons are mostly found/loot, armor is occasionally looted but is mostly crafted (but as a mage, don't really need a lot of that) ---the fishing mechanic reminds me a bit of FFXV. Although you can also put it on Easy where you auto reel fish in. >.> ---I could see myself replaying the game a couple times, "rushing" more to certain points and then just building, but that's probably about it (at its current EA stage anyway) Early on I found a pair of boots with 6% faster run. Since there are no mounts, I've kept those on forever. I have yet to see any more upgraded boots - crafted or loot - with that attribute. I'm at around 60-70 hrs probably, still haven't seen all biomes. I do get task-distracted a lot tho.

There is an attack roll. Most likely you only fought vessels who have weak deflection so far. Two consecutive hits doesn't mean you're not allowed to miss in between. You can hit, miss and hit again and Double Tap still destroys the vessel. The thing with the Red Hand's Double Tap is: only works against enemies of lower level than you. And it only works against vessels. It's awesome in general, but that are its limitations - which means you cannot rely on it 100% as backup weapon. If you meet vessels who are of equal or higher level it will not destroy them. If you meet pierce immune, non-vessel enemies (some blights for example) it will also not help you. It also gives you -10 accuracy because you are devoted to pistols. But if it works for you so far then that's great of course. Still I would try to get Eccea's Arcane Blaster at some point. There's a scripted interaction on the way there you need to pass with some skill checks. If you did that successfully you can catch Eccea (the foe who carries the pistol) while she's alone, guarding the entrance to a cave. There it's not too difficult to kill her and loot the pistol. Return later for the rest of her party (it's quite a challenging fight). Then you'll have an excellent backup weapon for all sorts of enemies. No one is immune to raw damage and you'll have a pistol with no accuracy drawback. It also has a very good second modal that adds elemental damage on top.

Did Obsidian predict the memory crisis? Case in point: TOW2 seems pretty playable with 8 GB of system RAM ("for the most part"). And as you may know, system memory is now as expensive as a graphics card. I'm personally still rocking 16GB (plus a 12GB GPU), by the way. No probs in the likes of Indiana Jones or KCD2 either. Despite having a 32GB kit lying here since early Summer 2025... (ordered on a discount, when news appeared that prodcution of DDR4 would slow down/stop). Placing a bet that 16GB will only become really a "no-no-no" once the PS6 hits. This is a console generation that even has a 10GB machine -- 10GB total: the Series S. Else you're mostly still fine. Except for streaming, extreme modding, Star Citizen and multitasking, that is. There's more memory intensive tasks than gaming either way. But as memory has been mostly dirt cheap for so long, people had stockpiled RAM sticks. In the past 20 years, I never paid more than 50-70 bucks when building a new system equipped with then "recommended" AAA gaming RAM capacity. Not minimum, recommended. So enthusiasts had basically double that -- or more. -

Hi! I saw another post about this but it was never resolved. When I enter the workbench, I can see my list of weapons on the left that can be modded, but the mods do not show up in the center area under resources. For Armor, etc. I see them show up and can add them to my selected armor piece, but they never appear when looking at weapons. I can craft them, but not use them. Has anything been done about this? I just started playing a week or so ago, so after the first patches came out, so this is still an issue as of January 2026, on xbox, at least.

I logged on yesterday and tried to jump on to a ladybug but i just fell right through and the disappointment was immeasurable. Riding ladybugs feels like a quintessential part of grounded and i would be sad to see it go away ngl. if this is simply a glitch present in my game i apologise for the rant lol.

Devoted with pistol is a bit difficult because there is only one pistol that doesn't do pierce damage. So if you face enemies who are immune to pierce damage you are a bit screwed(you'll have to eat a -10 accuracy malus if you want to use any other type of weapon or pick Monastic Unarmed Training for fists). The pistol that does raw damage (Eccea's Arcane Blaster) is not easy to get early. But I would try now. Critical hits do PEN *1.5 automatically. I don't recall if Penetrating Crit does add +2 before the 1.5 multiplier or after. Before would be better of course. If it doesn't display the bonus at all it's maybe bugged? Since crits already do PEN*1.5 (which is more than enough, especially on a Devoted), I never bothered with Penetrating Crits but chose the +25% damage variant instead.

Boeroer. Now playind devoted/bloodmage. The build is insane I decided to take devoted instead of ranger because i want to be focused more on single targets (bosses and megabosses) Now playing with scordeos trophy pistol and i have a question. Does penetrating crit (+15% crit dmg, +2 pen on crit) not working properly? In the damage logs i dont see these +2 pen on crit

Tainted Grail has pulled me in. It has POE1 vibes. You talk to gods and dead people. It's grim. There are giant statues with their hands poking out of the earth. The King Arthur story was off putting to me to begin, but its unique enough that I am enjoying it. There is a decent variety of monsters. My favorite being the fog monster. Sometimes it's just fog, sometimes it's a fog monster. The cinematics before a boss fight are unnerving. Oddly enough I think the lower budget graphics make it more creepy. Hard to explain exactly. So far the choices seem to be pretty basic. I haven't had anyone comment on my actions now that I'm in a new area... even though they probably should consider me an enemy? Its definitely not perfect but at least I'm engaged.

Cinema and Movie Thread: coming 2 a theater near u
Hurlshort replied to PK htiw klaw eriF's topic in Way Off-Topic
I took the family to see Avatar: Fire and Ash. It was good. It didn't really break the Avatar mold or anything, but it kept the world building going. It's crazy to think that this was my daughter's favorite movie as a child, and now she's an adult, and we are still heading to the theater to watch it for 3+ hours. That being said, it didn't feel drawn out or anything. It was a speedy 3 hours. I do wish they pushed the biomes a bit. This was very much part 2 of the watery world stuff. There was a volcano area that was barely shown, and the industrial city was also not really explored. So lots of diving in the water with submarines and whales. Also I'm pretty sure the creatures for the Abyss showed up in this thing. But yeah, if you liked Avatar, more of the same. If you didn't, this certainly won't change your mind. -

Hello, So in both Grounded and Grounded 2 we all see them all over the place when enter Ominet facilities. It would be nice if we can collect some of those coffee mugs and display them at our bases. While I have that in thought, why can't we have a display for all the trinkets that we find in our adventure instead of throwing them in a chest. I may be asking too much here but it would be cool to have a few plates at our kitchen table. I hope the Creators will think on this. Anyway, I am having a good time playing both Grounded and Grounded 2. You guys are doing GREAT!!!!! Thank you

And third Kombo Challenge finished in MKvsDCU. This time Sonya. And it was pain in the ass trying to figure out the patterns to program the controller, as almost every combo had a pro-move, which made the search for exact frames more time-consuming. It took me almost 5 hours to program my controller and it was far from perfect. Next in line is Shang Tsung, which has from the roster the lowest number of players who were able to perform all of his combos. So I expect to spend as much time on him as on Sonya .
