I messed around with the graphics settings in New Arc Line and now it doesn't crash. Which means I now had a "choice that matters" and I hate those. For me, ethically it is an easy choice - don't force the factory to replace the workers with automatons, because I don't want people to loose their jobs. But, that is the choice that benefits a magic playthrough and this is my Diesel Engineer...

*listens to Anthony Vincent sing Your Idol in the style of Sleep Token* --- "Who is Sleep Token?" --- *google* Heard a few of what I assume are their more popular singles. For some reason some of their slower songs and musical passages made me think of Tangerine Dream. Something about the mood/tone of those Sleep Token passages, not the singing/genre aspect. This led me to look up some TD music again. I was listening to Betrayal (never saw the movie), and kept thinking the beginning reminded me of something. Then I got it: from Terminator. Maybe TD was an influence for Mr. Fiedel. I think they were for many back then. Ah, synth soundtracks.

I think I'm something like halfway through the 7th episode of that Genie, Make a Wish k-drama. I'm not sure I'll finish, even if there's only 4.5 episodes left I think. It's still fitfully charming/amusing but I'm not connecting emotionally with anything, so the "I don't really care what's happening/why" syndrome applies. I end up turning it off mid-episode to do something else. Even for comedy kdrama (mixed with a little pathos), not my thing. A shame - really wanted another great vehicle for this actor pair. Just me tho.

Apparently one reason he didn't win is that he campaigned for it so hard. Does that sound like Trump? Not really. Yes he has been involved in peace negotiation, while attacking unarmed boats in the caribbean. He certainly hasn't made the world better organized; quite the opposite. His efforts with regards to democracy and human rights have been sadly lacking. I'm not aware of any arms control efforts.

Oh no, Trump didn't get the peace prize. How sad, I'm sure there will be no intemperate toy tossing from the big orange baby. The Committee really is an absolute joke though. Not quite a Kissinger/ Obama tier pick, but we did for a brief and glorious period have Machado's well cited support for foreign armed intervention in Venezuela and the Nobel citation for 'peaceful transition' literally adjacent on her wikipedia page (before, inevitably, a power user came in and removed the former while Protecting the edit).

One Battle After Another What an absolute priviledge and joy to watch. Easily the best film I've watched in 2025. Johnny Greenwood deserves an oscar for that soundtrack, and I can't believe a film managed to make a car chase exciting again. A rare 10/10 from me.

I have finished Promise Mascot Agency. I stand by my initial assessment - Saints Row without combat and all your gang members are mascots. I have started and finished Fear the Spotlight. It is a horror game, it is (surprisingly) shorter than I would like (~5 hours), but it does not overstay its welcome, so fine, I guess. It looks nice, the pacing is good, the puzzles are on the easier side.

Getting cold so I busted out my old blue lamb stew and added some pork stew meat to the mix because my kids aren't as big into lamb as my wife is. It was a big hit.

very very late to this reply, but first: congrats and second - Mortismal Gaming did an ultimate run, speaks positively frequently about poe and deadfire, and also posted an extensive annotated version of his ultimate run. i wonder if his reach on youtube has inspired people to give it a try.

feels like manifestation of main-character-syndrome. happened a lot more when deadfire was younger. someone would rant about something, and be horribly offended if anyone even slightly pushed back on anything, like gasp, people might want to talk/discuss stuff and not just blindly agree with you.

After playing Grounded 2 for a while I disabled crossplay since I am not interested to play with other players on another platform than Steam. I mainly play with my family members who are also on steam. Thus in my mind I didn't need crossplay. After playing solo for a while my son wanted to multiplayer again. I couldnt get this to work until I enabled crossplay again. To prevent confusinon I would recommend to rename Disable Crossplay to Disable Multiplayer because this is effecively what this option does. But this wasn't the biggest problem, after I reverted back to Crossplay Enabled I lost all resources I collected while Crossplay was Disabled. Fortunately after Disabling Crossplay again I was able to transfer all resources in my backpack to a chest. Then I enabled Crossplay again and the character reverted again, but since I had saved my backpack items in a chest, I was able to pick the up again. Kind regards, Kalin
