[FEEDBACK] Too Many Spiders!
NukeGoose replied to Darena's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
if we are chasing the realism of a game why not complain about the sheer number of scorpions, which is by far the largest population of insects. if a park had this many scorpions it would be deemed unsafe for kids/public use and an exterminator would be called. that said if you are currently having an issue with the ammount of spiders arround then i feel it safe to say you need to explore more. mites are all over the place in groups of 2-6, larva and grubs are plentiful, and like i said, scorpions. plus in a couple areas you have the roach numbers. i also offer up the problem of culling the herd. if you dont kill the spiders more still come when they chase you and leave their spawn zone. im built right above a spider den and i still run into more scorpions than spiders because those buggers also have a random spawn chance it seems. -

Lost my Spicy Coaltana
NukeGoose replied to Rozen's topic in Grounded 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
when you beat the mysterious stranger for the first time you get the sizzling key, its laying on the table near burgles head, the chest it unlocks has 2 spicy globs, which is enough for 1 coaltana and is the only thing you can currently make with them. -
Yes - tried the DDU Clean Install and various other troubleshooting tips from posters on this thread and elsewhere. Avowed (another Obsidian UE5 game) runs fine so the issue seem to be confined to Grounded 2.

Finished and utterly beaten Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Strong recommendation from me - the story is very very good. Good, well written chracters, story starts with an engaging hook and builds to something special. Gameplay is solid - for a jRPG I actually enjoyed it. There is enough variety to enemies, and active systems (mainly dodge and parry to avoid damage, build action points for your turn, and counter) keeps one engaged. Quite a decent amount of side content with some chunky optional dungeons meant to be done after the main story is complete. And while it is mostly what one would expect, for some reason they also have a 3 stage Malenia-style style boss which moves the game further from Final Fantasy or Persona and closer to Sekiro. I won't spoil any of his bull****, but let's just say it extended my playtime by a couple of hours. Anyway, it seems Veilguard was just dropped unto GamePass, so I will probably see what it is about next. Though after E33, new-Bioware writing might be extra hard to stomach. Perhaps, I will wait for Silksong as a palat cleanser.

Do you know how to use DDU? I have a similar setup except I have a 9950X3D. Maybe your PC has remnants of old drivers that are causing conflicts.

So I use 5 (forward) e (strafe left) t (strafe right) Space (back) - already mentioned this problem in another thread Having the ability to map new keys to the buggy controls would be very helpful!!

Started watching Orville to break up DS9 a bit. Wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but so far it's keeping me interested. -
Thirteen years and two Unreal Engine iterations later, still the most beautiful game in Dunwall. Pixelated textures and a few low poly counts will never destroy great art. #Dishonored By the way: This is the Metal Gear 3 Remake on lowest settings -- no shadows, no lighting, no effort. Still brings entry level machines close to the burnout. This is Dishonored. This is Dunwall. I Dunwall.

Can't stop watching a TV show? That may be a good thing I just knew it had to be doing some good. -

The game does look interesting and good. But without a third-person mode option, I will have to pass on it. -
I did see that some people were wanting a dragon fly and there is in fact a really neat one called a Meadow Hawk in Maine. I just was messing out and came up with this. What do you all think? He is so cute. I came up with weapons and armor. I have ideas for furniture and decor also but this is just the bug, and gear. Grounded 2.pptx

Thanks a lot for your input. I think I'm going to save this for future runs... I'd love to try this but I don't feel prepared enough or with the knowledge enough to do it well. I'll try the Vigorous Warthog because it feels more... Straightforward? and incredibly fun for what I'm looking for. Thanks a lot!!!!!!!

Protests in Democracies nowadays are not precursors to insurrections or civil wars to overthrow unjust or authoritarian states So its not the same as the reality of what caused the Boston Tea Party Protests are almost always about a law or societal reality or unhappiness with a failure around something that government is doing They not about overthrowing the government like we saw in the Arab Spring -

Here is a more detailed gameplay video for Bloodlines 2, its 11 minutes and covers some more detailed mechanics like decapitating combat skills that certain clans have and different dialogue outcomes around your play style Its making the game look much better -

Protests dont have even have to cause a stir like traffic disruptions to get a message across Many protests get live interviews and media attention which is very effective around what the protest is about And in South Africa many protests end up with a memorandum being handed over to some government representative at the end of the protest march Those are all constructive outcomes of protests -

Of course, the idea of burning a flag is hypothetical because I know no one on this forum would burn a flag or be involved in criminal acts like looting and vandalism during a protest With the exception of @uuuhhiiwho clearly doesnt know that a protest can absolutely be peaceful and you dont have to break the law
