I think the biggest threat to the world economy, and thus to the US, would be for Iran to attack the major oil production and storage facilities in the Persian Gulf. Doing so could potentially disrupt the flow of oil for several years; redacted will be in office for (at least) three more years, so the timing matches. Does Iran still have the capability to do that? They may see it as an appropriate response for damaging their own economy.

It isn't, that's the purpose of the military censor in the first place, and always has been everywhere it's been implemented. The state controls the flow of information to stop its own people and the enemy know what damage has been done. When that is not applied they either think it's in their best interests not to, or it's too big to suppress. What do you think they were censoring in those 2000+ articles, Bibi's receding hairline? 131 journalists killed in Gaza since 2024 out of a total of 204, so a shade off 2/3s. That is excluding those killed outside Israel and Palestine by Israel though; add those in and it's over 2/3. To put it in perspective, the number of journalists killed in Ukraine over that time was 4 (four).

There is going to be a big development in 36 hours or so with Trump threatening to blow up Irans power plants if the Straits arent open Iran wont open the Straits and Trump is now committed. I wonder what the Iranian response will be? Trump: "Mission accomplished. Nobody talks about the Epstein files right now" Netanyahu: "Mission accomplished. Nobody is talking about my corruption charges and looming prison sentence" Russia: "Mission accomplished. Oil and gas prices are sky rocketing" ... Feel free to add to the list. Sad fact is, none of the two main instigators have neither motivation nor ideas how to end the war now. Putin just laughing at the sideline, counting the Petroyuans he is getting

Speaking of Madhouse... picture spam time again Out intrepid heroes have passed the checkpoint to the Northern Plateau and experience level scaling in real time. Starting with little lizards over mountain sized demons they thought were in hills in the forest The risk of being the party's tank (a role referred to as a "front liner" in the setting. For all his fast reflexes, Stark still keeps a close eye on his opponent. Fern decides she needs her boyfriend to pout at for a bit longer No place is safe anymore and getting rest turns into a real problem, leading to days without breaks or sleep "Grab the elf" (slightly paraphrased from an old movie) They eventually find an inhabited house, where they can spend the night. The owner asks a favour of them, as a monster has set up camp nearby and now kills everyone and everything, disrupting trade and travel. The party agrees as they are heading that direction anyway. They run into the fellow as it's busy eating a merchant (with appropriate slobbering noises as it licks the rest of the merchant up) This one is on a different from what they have encountered so far. Using physical weapons instead of magic, supernatural speed and strength, it dodges spells as well as Starks axe Frieren, thinking sniping it from a flying position might be a good idea, stood corrected. Barely managing to put up a protective barrier a fraction of a second before that mantis shrimp blow hits her ...and sends her flying like a tennis ball that just got served by Agassi Fern fares no better, as she now shares the emotional stress of a cricket ball hit by a very large bat swung by a very strong batter Stark, for all his failures when it comes to dating, is still gentleman enough to absorb some of Ferns kinetic energy, before she smashes into a tree. Any cricket catcher would be proud of that catch While the monster was busy playing with the kids, the old lady herself decides to shoot off the monsters right arm which just seems to agitate it even more. Stark jumps the guy and tries to strangle it. Ever the optimist. But, it leaves it exposed in a position where it can no longer dodge incoming shots... death star laser is fully charged Fern seems to already having made her mind up about Stark. He's not going to get away from her... and puts a protective bubble around him, so he doesn't get incinerated by Frieren's attack Stark is reconsidering his life choices 😃 Next up are legendary level liquors and legendary level trolling by bored elvesmichel-roessler joined the community- Marathon Playthrough Character Feedback
Hello community, So I'm looking to start up a new playthrough that will hopefully take me through the entirety of Pillars of Eternity, White March I & II, and then after all of that, push me through to Pillars of Eternity Deadfire. I've easily clocked in countless hours into the game goofing around with a variety of different builds but I haven't really committed to a "marathon" build to do EVERYTHING with. I know this is fairly subjective but was curious what the rest of the community, you all, did to decide on a character concept to carry through such a play through. Typically for myself I like to focus on Lore-heavy builds, and for this I don't plan on doing anything heavy handed as far as difficulty. What has worked for you all when making up a character for such playthroughs for those who have done it? Cheers!kristian.hristow2010 joined the community- What are you Playing Now? I completed RDR1 after about 50 hours and it was good fun Its unfair to compare it to RDR2 which is more complex and better than RDR1 on almost every single level and mechanic and its understandable because RDR1 is an older game and Rockstar would have had a much smaller budget with less developers I looked this up just to confirm the budget and development differences RDR1 : Development Team: Primarily developed by Rockstar San Diego, with a core team size estimated around 150 people at times, though the total effort involved more over its multi-year development. Budget: Estimated at roughly $80–$100 million for development, with total costs (including marketing) estimated around $130–$150 million. Development Time: Approximately 5–6 years. RDR2 development Team: Involved roughly 1,600 to 2,000+ people total across all of Rockstar’s worldwide studios collaborating as one team. Budget: Estimated development costs of $170–$200 million, with combined development and marketing expenditures reaching $370–$540 million. Development Time: Approximately 7–8 years. RDR1 is still well worth playing and it has several unique features that RDR2 doesn't have like going to Mexico and specific cowboy activities like hearding cattle and horses I enjoyed the main narrative, I didnt realize it was set after RDR2 and it explained a few things I wasn't aware of Overall it gets a solid 65\100 on the globally followed "BruceVC game rating system " I then had an unexpected positive gaming experience. I decided to play the DLC Undead Nightmare because its included. I thought this would just be a silly but fun, quick shooting sojourn but it ended up being an excellent integration of a Zombie apocalypse into the RDR1 world and Im enjoying it as much as the main narrative You dont just fight zombies but you meet other supernatural creatures and its an enthralling alternative reality for RDR1 Im still busy with it, its a full game with side quests and new mechanics and weapons 🧟♂️- [CLASS BUILD] The Bloody Parry - a fine cоcktail of tanking, casting and leeching health

Hello, my mate and I are playing our Grounded 2 Save for a couple of month now, but we are only playing now and then, hennce we are not that far into the story yet. We tried to finish the "Overloaded" quest in which we had to beat the mix.r, which we did. After talking to the computer to fetch the networking centre quest, we did get the dialogue but the story quest did nnot update, hence we do not have a story mission anymore to progress towards confronting the stranger. Not sure what we are supposed to do now, since we seem to be stuck within our month old savegame. Is it possible, that the quest progressionn is now stuck, becasue we did not actviate the 4 new transmitters? Or is this just a known bug that will be fixed? How can we continue in our savegame? We finished both "Overload!" and "Signals and stashes" already in the questlog. Cheers Felixmimicry joined the communityjonathantatum63 joined the community- The All Things Political Topic
No it was never the situation, it was just your opinion where you believed Israel was censoring damage Iran was doing with its missile attacks. That was what we were discussing, Im not talking about other things like Gaza Do you believe Israel is censoring damage that Iran is doing with its attacks? And if you do how is this story being reported on? How can it be worse than Russia, Israel at least has an independant and liberal media that criticizes Netanyahu and the state on a regular basis? There is nothing even closely resembling Haaretz within Russia- [CLASS BUILD] The Bloody Parry - a fine cоcktail of tanking, casting and leeching health

Clash: Artefacts of Chaos I had thought that they are individual characters rather than species. The hardcore water snakes swim though the ground. The lore dump (2 screenshots) It is a bug that was supposed to be fixed 2 years ago. The final boss Oceanwork- What are you Playing Now? Volume XIX: The New Beginning of the End of the Middle
The cat looks adorable. Also, I've just noticed that the screenshots are uploaded to a private server. Thought for a second that it was the game's. Finished Clash: Artefacts of Chaos. The "true ending" is disappointing. Otherwise, the game is as generic as it gets, excluding the visual style, which looks like something produced by a genAI model. While there are lore reasons, unless you consider it a completely symbolic abstraction, the practical aspects don't really work. The main gameplay loop is the usual action-adventure corridor with light "platforming" of climbing the clearly marked stone slabs (but not waist-high fences) and very explicit arena battles, with random loot scattered in the corners. The Night mode, which changes the time of day, offers mostly padding, unless one really likes the combat - everything met is hostile, but you are not locked into the encounters and can just run to the mini-boss, which I did. The only somewhat original quality of the combat is that the main means of attack is unarmed combat stances, while the weapons provide limited support (they break). The story of a stoic warrior who adopts the Chosen One child and realigns with his emotions (that are not apathy or rage) is not exactly original either. In terms of narrative themes, the "we create our own imaginary cages" message with the artefacts working only because all participants agree that they work (apparently, including the bees which are summoned by some of them) was spelt out by the lore-dump NPC and hard to disagree with. Social constructs exist only as long as the complacent majority go along with it. The "no laws without justice" sentiment is welcome as well. A relatively small detail I liked was that the enemies were able to damage each other, instead of clipping through. The OST was fairly unpleasant in-game, but fine to listen to separately (no idea what the language is). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyP-AOAjVYM&list=PLfuHaTW9nnaBWUou9bklAyOviDKz19yJ0&index=1 So, overall, the execution was lacking, despite the ideas. I have finished Oceanwork. The story is about a person sentenced to underwater mining for an unspecified crime. The pace of the exploration and upgrades is good and the environment is interesting to explore, despite the very few points of interest. The upgrades are visible on the character model and the UI is quite helpful. The game is free, so it lacks saving or rebindable controls, but it is also short and uses only WASD, E, and LMB (might be uncomfortable for the left-handed players). It also lacks subtitles for the intro and any visual aid for the approaching sharks which you can only hear before they attack. https://warrrkus.itch.io/oceanwork- The All Things Political Topic
does assassinate journalist count as media censor if so in the last 3 year there maybe more journalist censored at gaza than the rest of the world combine- The All Things Political Topic
Wasn't really a debate, you were simply told what the situation was. On average Israel censors more than 2000 (!) articles per year. That hasn't changed. Or if you prefer, and from the last couple of weeks: "Every reporter in Israel — and every member of the public — is subject to a military censor" Their actual censorship is more harsh than that of Russia. Maybe not quite as bad as Ukraine, since at least you won't get forcibly enlisted for breaking the rules.- Random Sales again
Both are great resources, which to use probably comes down to whether you're interested in buying from unauthorised keyshops or not. I'm generally not, and while I know you can turn them off in gg.deals, it keeps defaulting back to on.- The All Things Political Topic
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/mar/21/wounded-iranian-missile-strikes-southern-israel I remember the last time Iran launched missiles against Israel having a debate on this thread, I think with @Zoraptor , that Israel had control over the media and it was underreporting or censoring the actual damage done by Iran That Israeli media censorship doesn't seem to exist anymore?- The All Things Political Topic
hypocrisy of nato minion are hardly surprising still if the natural gas production crashing for year if not decade do not force them to behave more practically then little else can- The All Things Political Topic
The contrast of Trump insisting that the Iranians are begging for a ceasefire due to their military being 2000% killed while 186% of their missile launchers have been destroyed and near simultaneously threatening to blow up all their power plants if they don't reopen the Straits of Hormuz is even more telling than usual. It's very, very obvious that he wants someone, anyone on the Iranian side to start talking to him. That he thinks they will having torn up one agreement than started wars with them twice, during negotiations, is perhaps the definition of hubris. Or stupidity. Maybe both? The Iranians, of course, have a long list of targets to hit in response. Which will really stuff up the region long term. No drinking water for Riyadh would be quite interesting, in a very Chinese (well, 'Chinese') curse sense. Would certainly be interesting to see the European reaction to the US blowing up power plants. While presumably not a war crime due to rules 1 and 2* differentiating it from Russia hitting Ukrainian power plants might be a tad difficult to get through to other people. *(1) someone we like cannot commit a war crime (2) someone we don't like cannot be the victim of a war crime- The All Things Political Topic

Oh you. :D I didn't notice it while taking the shot because I was just staring at the SOFT KITTY WARM KITTY. Hehe. But yeah. It's not something you're going to notice in normal gameplay - typical 3/4 top down 3rd person - outside of photo mode or full zoomed in and spinning the camera. There is a 1st person view in the game but I think you cannot fight/combat while in it - it'll knock you into the overhead 3rd person. I have maybe 8 hrs of total gameplay and so far it's a mix of 50% "wow, cool, totally rad" and 50% "F! How annoying, how unnecessary, balderdash!" I can also begin to see that while you can technically free-explore probably as much as you want, and there are some things you can discover/do on your own right away maybe, many of the mechanic features and/or larger things to do are going to be kinda gated by main questline progress steps, at least in the first several "chapters". - Anime and Manga - New Season
