umm yeah... you aren't even trying anymore. the biden stuff failed. the circular strawman got the stuffing knocked out if it multiple times-- am not knowing the specific motivation for a doctor administering the initial MoCA test o' trump and we sure never stated that presumed dementia were necessarily that motivation. am having linked to sources describing how the MoCA is actual used as 'posed to zor mischaracterizations. have shared the observations o' a real psychiatrist who were a professor at johns hopkins (could provide multiple other psychiatrist and neurologist opinions btw,) and is convinced trump has dementia and that his condition is definitional degenerative... though in an over-abundance o' caution, and precise 'cause we do not have accurate trump medical records, am unwilling to go so far our self. when there is conflicting info it is better to wait for clarity before announcing a conclusion which may look foolish in five minutes, a situation with which zor is all too familiar. your patently unbelievable gullibility in believing statements from trump about his health exams in the absence o' clear and convincing evidence to the contrary is ludicrous. etc. and so on... before the 2024 election, we observed how trump's mental fitness were such that we wouldn't trust him to operate a gas stove, and we sure as hell wouldn't voluntarily be a passenger in a car he were driving in boston or chicago rush hour traffic. if we wouldn't trust trump's mental (as opposed to physical) faculties in such situations, and am suspecting many/most here would have similar reservations, the notion we would be okie dokie with trump as President of the United States were untenable... even w/o reflecting on all the jan 6 (tds? HA!), digital rape, business fraud, tariffs and mass deportation promises and so on and so forth. we didn't need a clinical diagnosis o' dementia, but a normal and reasonable person, given all the circumstances and expert opinion on the matter previously shared these past few pages, and recognizing that trump has lied about his health since always, and has specific been unbelievable about the MoCA since 2018, would no doubt find it challenging to conclude with any certainty that trump were mental ok. potus should not be an office where you need have such a debate. go to 15:00 is maybe how zor thinks, but hey, take trump at his word that he true believes that there aren't alot of people in that room who would get every question on the MoCA correct. doctors almost never see a perfect score. *chuckle* he is convinced o' such. no doubt you believe that his doctors were legit surprised by how well he scored. there were a guy on this board recent who posited "chronic narcissism" as the motivation for initial taking and then bragging about passing the MoCA. hard to believe, no? but hey, if trump is so delusional that he thinks that what he were saying at 15:00 about the difficulty o' the MoCA test and his doctor's responses, then maybe you are right... but 'course then we got a whole different set o' problems and am left back where we started that it don't matter if there trump is clinical demented 'cause he is clear nuts. @Chairchucker am seeming to recall a little detail which made the biden v. trump stuff irrelevant. HA! Good Fun!

Playing a game called Seance of Blake Manor. It's an adventure/investigation/deduction game with a horror theme, set in late 19th century Ireland. It's first person view and lots interactable things, but the major twist is there is a time limit. Time doesn't go forward in actual time, or movement or even changing areas, but only by interacting with things. So instead of clicking everything and then trying to figure out what to do, you have think about your actions constantly. The mechanic was a huge turn off for me at first, it felt very arbitrary because it wasn't always obvious what thing had important info attached to it, and felt it encouraged save scumming. But once I got past the prologue, it seems there's much more leeway and it works fine. But maybe it'll all come crashing down on me later, when I find out I shouldn't have spent all that time going through ladies pants drawers.

Even a game like Baldur's Gate 3 can be localized into Turkish, so why can't you add it? -

To be fair to Bruce not wanting Biden/ being relieved he isn't president is not the same as being happy Trump won. He might well prefer if some milquetoast US Keir Starmer equivalent or establishment republican won instead of either. Yes, it retains its same value. Which was an absolute refutation of your claim. It wouldn't matter if repeating the same thing doubled the value of your gaslighting though, since its value started out at zero. I mean really, you could just have dropped it. Not like I actually care, and it was an easy enough thing to miss. Tripling down, though, that is definition gaslighting. Ah, curiousity, the mother of speculation/ 'just asking questions'. Yes, you do have to come up with some kind of evidence of degeneration, when the source of your 'curiousity' dates back 8 years, two election campaigns, nearly 3 years as president etc etc and cognitive issues are almost always degenerative. Or, alternatively, suggest how it isn't degenerative in his case. Again, he was tested for anxiety and depression as well, does that mean his doctors think he's depressed? Doesn't seem very likely. You only think taking a MoCA is 'curious' and the other tests aren't because the MoCA reinforces your preconceived notion, and the others don't. As always, the only disorder you've shown actual evidence for Trump having is... being Trump, which everyone already knows about. (Said it before, will say it again: Trump speaks how people think. That is one of the reasons a lot of people like him, and relate to him no matter how silly it may seem for some random blue collar worker from Milwaukee or Toledo to relate to a 'billionaire'. Most people in the public eye train themselves for years to not speak as they think since typically a Trump like politician would fail instantly. Not speaking the same way you think is what the more, hmm, politically aware/ educated set tend to expect and will find any deviation from that unusual. But unusual does not in itself imply a disorder)

Must have missed that, or I would probably have picked it up for that price. I do remember decent Stellaris/ CK2 newsletter deals though, so I agree they definitely have them. -

The All Things Political Topic - SNAFU edition
Chairchucker replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
During Donald's second term, he has: Pardoned approximately 1500 people who stormed the capitol Signed an executive order to end birthright citizenship, while also telling the lie that the USA is the only country in the world that does this. (It was blocked for being unconstitutional.) Signed an executive order withdrawing the US from the Paris Climate Agreement. (Coincidentally, his campaign took $75mil from fossil fuel interests, and the new energy secretary founded a fracking firm.) Signed an executive order putting a pause on all US foreign development assistance programs Signed an executive order to end DEI (I know Bruce will probably approve of this one because every time someone links to a study that proves that systemic racism definitely still exists, thus necessitating things like DEI, he'll just go hmm agree to disagree) Appointed a secretary of defense with a history of allegations of sexual violence, alcoholism, workplace misconduct, being sympathetic to neo-nazis, and a white supremacy symbol tattooed on his chest Talked about the possibility of running for an unconstitutional third term Signed an executive order banning trans people from serving in the military Signed an executive order to restrict gender affirming health care to people under the age of 19, against the advice of current research on the subject Blamed a crash on 'DEI' while an investigation was still ongoing Appointed as secretary of health and human services a man who had part of his brain eaten by a worm, who has gone on to misinterpret a bunch of studies to perpetuate harmful stereotypes around biological differences between black and white people Empowered ICE to act with almost no oversight, leading to a number of false arrests and unchecked violence against legal immigrants and US citizens That was just January. It takes a mixture of stupidity and evil to look at this current administration and think 'what a relief we don't have Biden.' -
Brandyn Zwick started following Spire Grove cutscene not triggering

I went to Spire Grove to find Ida for the Protectorate at the bridge, and went around trying to find the her and only found her arm. I knew something wasn't right when I went back to the bridge and was told its just a arm and to find the body. So I went back, and nothing. Eventually I found her house and found the note she wrote so I went back and it worked for the quest. Then the mission that sends you there to find a man looking for Protectorate Tech, and no one was there. I found online the cutscene of the man jumping to his death, but that never happened when I went there. I've done at least 6 or 7 quests since then and try to go back whenever to see if it works. I just want double jump lmao!

Pretty much the title. I took before and after screenshots of adding the weapon to junk, but I found out it also removes the mods from armor and it works both ways. You can also see there's a significant loss of value (varies depending on the weapon and mods, of course). Maybe it's a bug. Maybe I've just discovered a tiny pocket rift eating up my equipment mods! Oooh the implications! Perhaps we can adapt this technology to force our enemies to fight in their skivvies!

I did walk around a little before heading to town. I think a big part of it is narrative baggage from being part of the earth directorate. Like I can be a criminal who doesn't like the earth directorate and takes nothing serious. yet they decided to make me captain? Just in my mind you have to be a leader of some sort for the story to make sense. If you had been just a regular soldier it would feel a lot more natural. Starting off important takes something away from these types of games imo

Bug report please help ;-;
Kaazz replied to blackjack3679's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I am having the same issue on PS5. Cannot use my main weapon. I can still throw grenades and use med kit, vut not attack. It helped one time to go back to a previous save, but this is a game breaking bug -
I’ve spent hours troubleshooting this and it’s still broken. My setup: GPU: RTX 5090 (Blackwell, GDDR7) CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K (24 cores / 24 threads @ 3.7 GHz) Motherboard: MSI MPG Z890 Carbon WiFi (MS-7E17) RAM: 32 GB DDR5 Storage: NVMe SSDs Platform: Steam (clean install, no mods) The crash happens every single time in the same exact place — after killing the first marauders at the rock outcrop in Emerald Vale, as soon as I walk past that point, the game instantly crashes to desktop with no error message. What I’ve already tried: Fully reinstalled the game Deleted everything under AppData → Local → Indiana Verified game files Started multiple new saves Disabled all overlays (Steam, Discord, GeForce Experience) Tried -dx11 and -dx12 launch options Capped FPS at 60, used borderless 1080p Disabled “Memory Try It!” in BIOS Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic (no errors) Used DDU to clean install the latest NVIDIA driver Turned off every post effect and manually disabled SSGI in config It still crashes in the same spot, even on a fresh save and completely clean install. I suspect there’s a compatibility problem between Unreal Engine 4 and new RTX 50-series cards. Since this is 2025 hardware, I’m guessing The Outer Worlds renderer just can’t handle the new DirectX memory model yet. If anyone from Obsidian or Private Division can confirm whether this game is being patched for 50-series GPUs, or if there’s a known workaround, please let me know.

Not sure I can add much other than I think, like most things, it's not one thing but a multitude of things. Also test scores have meaning but often times aren't really applied or interpreted very well when discussed in the general public. I think this includes using test scores to the exclusion of other measures when discussing success metrics.

Stuff growing into your base
KREEPY PANDA replied to snooppari's topic in Grounded 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Same. Seems like whenever I come back from the AXL boss battle there’s stuff growing throughout my entire bass that I’ve previously chopped down and I’m certain I’m not away from my base any longer than an in-game days worth of time. Very frustrating. -

Good Morning to everyone, I had pre-ordered the physical edition of The Outer Worlds 2 - Premium Edition for Xbox Series X and upon the completion of the Prologue (the Quest “A Cause Worth Killing For”) I am not obtaining in any case the Pre-Order Bonus Items (the unique objects included in Commander Zane’s Anti-Monopolistic Battle Pack). Instead, I am only receiving the Premium Edition Bonus Items. Maybe I am mistaken and I missed something or is this a technical issue? I am even offered by the game the ironic Flaw “Consumerism” because I bought the Premium Edition, xD. Thank you everyone for your time and your helpfulness .

Greetings, Watchers, We’re excited to announce that a new public beta will open on November 5th for players on Steam and Xbox PC. This beta introduces a major new way to play the original Pillars of Eternity: Turn-Based Mode. Fans who enjoyed experimenting with Turn-Based Mode in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will find familiar ground here, but with key improvements shaped by your feedback: Unbound Turns: All turns are now influenced by a character’s overall speed, improving the value of Real-Time with Pause attributes and mechanics. Smarter Free Actions: Actions like swapping weapons, drinking potions, or enabling modals are now free actions. Each free action is limited to one per turn per type for balance. Faster Pacing: Combat lethality has been significantly increased for both enemies and players to keep battles tense and impactful. Mode Flexibility: You can choose Turn-Based Mode alongside difficulty when starting a new game — or swap freely between Real-Time with Pause and Turn-Based Mode in the game options. We’re also investigating a direct HUD toggle for even more convenience. As this is a public beta, please expect bugs and ongoing adjustments. The beta will run for some time as we continue to roll out updates and prepare for a full release. We’re also excited to share a special message from Josh Sawyer, the Game Director, with his thoughts on what Turn-Based Mode means for Pillars of Eternity and how community feedback helped shape this update. Your feedback will be vital as we refine and polish turn-based mode — we’ll be collecting reports, issues, and suggestions from the community throughout the beta. Thank you for helping us continue to grow and evolve Pillars of Eternity. We’ll see you in the beta on November 5th!
