The game tailormade for the memory crisis: Foolish Mortals. 90 rating on Metacritic, 97% user recommendation on Steam, 20 bucks price tag, 2GB RAM required, 8GB disk space and more heart put into it than you could possibly count. Initially, I wanted to relive Christmas 1998. Spent that on solving Grim Fandango three days straight. However, after this introduction, I wasn't able to wait any longer. They said there was a treasure on the island, its location known only to the dead. I could see it in my dreams. How was I supposed to know that in order to find it... I'd have to die too.

Yup, I saw an interview with Swen where he confirms it will be TB, party of four, will use early access, and is using a new version of their engine with supposedly several new capabilities that were not present in the old engine. Some of what they say has me interested, but will it be enough to overcome my dislike for TB combat and very intense dislike of the Rivellon setting? We'll see.

misunderstanding. as part of article 1, sec8 (clause 18?) powers, Congress has implied power and duty o' oversight and investigation... of the other branches o' government. take care clause of article 2, based on understanding of language in 1787, creates a duty/obligation on the part o' the President to see that laws passed by Congress is implemented and enforced. ... and 'cause the current Court's embrace o' the unitary theory o' the executive authority is complete and extreme, it follows that the President is indeed the chief law enforcement officer o' the United States. Congress gets oversight and may investigate the executive in its law enforcement capacity, but other than impeachment and conviction, the ability o' Congress to interfere with considerable the discretion o' the President in matters o' law enforcement is largely limited to funding decisions. HA! Good Fun! ps keep in mind that originally there were no US Law Enforcement. we had fed judges created by Congress (1789) but initially the job o' attorney general were a part-time gig-- one guy advising Congress and the President. took 'bout one hundred years and the civil war to change things. fbi didn't get its start until early 1900. before the fbi we had US marshals and postal inspectors... not even customs and border protection until 1940s as each state handled its own customs inspection efforts and there were no real immigration policy. that the President were the chief law enforcement officer o' the US was largely meaningless for most o' US history.

It will be interesting to see what they will keep from D:OS and D&D and what they will change.

Oh comeon, I don't think I have encountered a single trap like that. Though I did spent most of the evening banging my head against Karmelita yesterday. To be fair, it's been a while since I played so I am a bit rusty, and my stick drift does muddy up my execution.

Original Sin are just spin-offs in the end. The main line is Divine Divinity -> Divinity 2: Ego Draconis/Flames of Vengeance -> Divinity 3? Beyond Divinity never happened.

The way it should work is the president should have no ability to literally phone the DOJ and say " you must prosecute this person " and this should apply to any president Prosecutions need to be decided on evidence and whats in the public interest if there are many potential cases because any DOJ will have limited resources Im sure this is how it works in most countries that have a separation of the judiciary from the state? You will still get criticism from the public because citizens have there own opinions around who should be prosecuted but that decision shouldnt come from the presidency

Don't know if I will ever finish the game. Unlike the first game, some of the choices in here really sucked the life(blood) out of me. But looks like the trailer is going to bring back that cut underwater area. There's probably just going to be more 1 hit 1 kill death traps and such in there. Not sure if I really want to.

Hi, I've been trying to play Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire on my PC but after playing once every few days it will start up and hang on a black screen after the Obsidian and Versus Evil cards. I've tried reinstalling, verifying files, changing the resolution, turning Vsync off, and installing the UK english language pack. Nothing works, but when googling this problem a solution is to try running on legacy mode Legacy Branch 3.7.0.1318 but I don't have that option on Steam. On betas I just have none and the public beta branch for upcoming betas. If there's a code to this version I'd love to get it because I finished a PoE 1 playthrough recently and I'd love to continue onto Deadfire.
