I use to sometimes follow the various Romance discussions when Bioware had official forums and I remember the whole " Tali sweat" debate It was just one thread on dozens through the years but it always seemed to get the most attention and criticism It was really just an example of an unusual topic that only some people participated in and yet the entire Bioware forum got labelled because of that in a negative way Now you have specialized forums where people discuss that type of content and ideas freely like LoversLab You just separate those topics from the official mod forums like Nexus and it works well That topic on Loverslab wouldn't bat an eyelid now
  8. In both the SCA.B Crafting menu and Workbench menu, the item Silk Rope does not appear as an entry. The Refined Resources list includes entries such as Bug Rubber, Blueberry Leather, and Crude Rope, so I expected Silk Rope to populate in that category. Unfortunately it doesn't. Repro steps: 1. Via the Inventory, use the Actions input on the Silk Rope item and select "Recipes" 2. Notice that you are immediately taken to the Natural Resources tab in the SCA.B Crafting menu 1. Open Resources tab in SCA.B Crafting menu 2. Notice that there is no entry for Silk Rope

  10. At last, I made something that isn't huge and doesn't look terrible, that I could live with as regular "main" use. And it still has 8 interior "workstation" ability if I want, plus good maneuverability and huge warp distance stats (the two I care about). So, yay? Maybe I'm getting the hang of how to use all these stupid parts. Course I'm still gonna obsessively fiddle with new/other designs for a while, before I get bored.

  12. We didn't do this. If anything, it's pretty clear that the people on this board were faithful. Also, there are rumblings... PoE 1 is getting a tune-up with a turn-based mode, they made Avowed and while it may be absolutely nothing; I hold out hope and if we are ever going to get it... now would be the time.

  15. Not sure if this is a location problem as I’ve only tried it at my current base near the tree in the southwest, but I can’t stack palisades. If this is intentional can you please change this? Currently stacking walls makes more sense to me for keeping bugs out, but I like the look of the palisades better for an outer wall, due to the uneven terrain I need to stack them, if I don’t ****roaches get in my base which defeats the point. Please make it so we can build palisades up on top of each other.

  17. Cassandra Obsession Guy was all over multiple forums for a while. Nothing will beat the theoretical analysis of Tali's sweat as an 'interesting' Bioware fan obsession. Wonder what AI have to say on that subject...   19. My partner and I have been loving the game so far. Our joint save currently has 27 (real life) hours of play time in multiplayer (2p) on PC (Steam) Suggestions/ Feedback Building There are no Cornered Peaked Roofs The only peaked roofs are straight; therefore, when trying to make a non-rectangular home, if I want to use the Peaked Roof, I have to have either a gap or use the domed roof top to cover the corner It could also be fixed by giving additional quarter roof options I would love for an expanded range to be able to access storage When building larger structures, I often go out of range of my storage chests/ pallets Suggested Fixes: A mutation that allows players to pull from chests/pallets when further away Storage Bin/ Pallet Upgrades that allow players to access them from a further range Paints! Would love to use flowers, berries, buggy bits, etc., to be able to create paints and colors to update walls and furniture in my home Placement Settings Snap Grid Would love to be able to toggle snap grid (I thought there was a way, but I cannot find it when placing flooring/walls) It would be nice to be able to edit units for snap grid (amount moved - amount rotated - esp allowing 45 degree rotation) Roll Being allowed to adjust the roll on placed objects would help when objects are placed on uneven or suspectedly uneven surfaces IE - foundation can be curved at corners, which causes items to sit askew on the edge, rather than being able to sit flat Vertical Placement Often, when I try to use the vertical placement lower or raise a building piece, I am unable to (unsure if this is due to snap grid or something else), but it happens even when there are no other objects nearby, and I can freely rotate it Buggies While on the Buggie, it is not possible to gather anything outside of the level 1 cutting tool. This causes an issue when getting off my buggie and gathering. The buggie gets closer to me - When this happens, it interrupts my gathering and causes me to mount my buggie Exploration I wish that when showing filters on the map (map view - acorns, etc.), there was a way to make those show up as icons in the world HUD I was unaware that I could turn off Trail, Backpack, and Build Markers, and accidentally pressed [Y] on the keyboard instead of [T] (when summoning my buggie) I went a few hours following my partner around because I thought my map markers were bugged I then realized there was a way to toggle the markers. When doing so, there is a HUD notification that the markers were shifted off/ on Potential Solves: Add an SFX to make it more obvious that the markers are being toggled Move the button further from frequently used buttons Add a setting in the menu that can toggle it back on (much like the PoV button) Other Thank you for adding the backpack recovery - the backpack fell through the world, and we were able to use that to retrieve it Bug Report Building Plants still grow in the house (grass, sprigs, etc) This occurs on the joined player (client) and not the host Can collect sprigs, but cannot do anything about grass blades or other cuttable items, as they do not appear on the host's game Buggies Falling off the buggie when dropping off a height at full health sometimes causes the player to instantly go down - it has been frustrating Exploration Spiderwebs can be difficult to get off of It is very difficult to get off the spiderwebs onto a low ledge - at the table in the snack bar area, if you fall onto the web, it is nearly impossible to get back up Inventory My dandelion tufts don't show on the HUD after I gather them - usually they become usable upon a death/respawn (joining in a multiplayer game) Map/ Markers - World HUD and Map Sometimes the host cannot see the map markers for the other players - in the overworld and in map view (hosting in a multiplayer game) Tried restarting the host and client - unable to solve over multiple play sessions When placing waypoints on the map (near the tree at the park entrance), they often get caught on the tree canopy, so I cannot see where to go Enemies Legs on the Wolf Spider are cursed They bow up weirdly and stretch in odd ways Other Auto Save appeared on screen, but was not saving Lost ~3 hours of progress
  20. They said in the IGN interview they are answering EVERY SINGLE POST and they are not. There are so many great suggestions and ideas that they say they want all the feedback and response from the community, and they are not responding. Furthermore Grounded 2 has waaaaaaay less in early access than the first grounded had early on. We the community are basically building the game for them like they have no ideas and direction. I don't mind this, more games should be influenced by the consumer/player community (it actually used to in the golden ages of gaming), But stop going out there being dishonest for one there are many of us who said and agree it feels empty and less than the first grounded, and you are not responding to the community or their suggestions. Your only responding to plain compliments that come with nothing extra, seems a little narcissistic and shady. All that's new is riding an insect to go nowhere and do almost nothing. After seeing that dude LIE in that interview that all they're receiving is positive feedback and that they are responding to everyone is soo untrue. Patterns have proven when they start lying like that the product quality gets further and further away from the desired product as well as the time in which it is completed.

  22. Has anyone found a solution for this? I've had the same window where I can't invite anyone but I can play solo just fine.
  23. Can we get a night vision helmet or goggles? You could use the moquito head or fire flies or something else you have coming out. I'd even be fine if it only worked in first person mode. Also greater distance for the plank and grass racks AND the CHESTS! I HATE being on one side of my base and can't build anything cuz all my stuff is in a chest on the opposite end and I'm 3 steps past the cut off distance. Other Critters 1. Nightcrawlers (essentially 3 grubs rolled into 1) 2. Garden Snake 3. Crickets - then make a violin out of their parts for comfort.

  26. I remember the time when we were discussing Cassandra's skull shape on the forum here. She's proof of some woke trans-agenda on the side of Bioware, because she clearly has a male skull model, designed to make otherwise straight players catch the gay or the trans. Reading the old threads made me realize how little difference it makes that oby, volo and co no longer post here. lol
