Remembering all the times people were told that the US President wasn't really that powerful because of all the limitations in the US constitution so we didn't need to worry about Trump that much is almost enough to raise a smile. Until, of course, you remember it's actually deadly serious that suddenly all those limitations seem to have been thrown out the window. Maybe at least, maybe, having some balaclavaed brownshirt with a badge and a schlong that can only be detected under an electron microscope execute a woman on video may get a proper reaction since it was an actual factual american woman; but I don't think anyone will be holding their breath. Still, kudos to that mayor for telling Trump's off brand sturmabeitlung to eff off, and the non forum friendly version of the term too.

I guess Terra Invicta released version 1.0, so I might give it a whirl. I played it like 3 years ago, so who knows what it is like now. -
Enshrouded: I found the snow biome. Or rather, I found some edges of it. I guess I didn't notice before because I've been using double-jump, gliding, and a lot of pickaxing to reach places before the game wants you to, I think. So I'm often in tunnels, or it's night, or --- Anyway - I glided and then made a tunnel upwards in this one spot. I hit patches of snow and new granite/blocks (I can now build snowmen). At one flat cliff ledge some way up, I plopped a base-altar. Good thing, since about 60 more seconds of tunneling upwards through rock, I wtf dropped dead, apparently from cold. Tried again, paid more attention, saw the tiny "frost death imminent" timer bar this time. So I went sideways. Found another snowy ledge, but this one had a nice, empty, pre-built fancy stone house. So I put a base altar in there as a foothold. there was a path upwards. So I tried again, just walking. Worked for a while, then that bar showed up again and I had to rush back down. I think it's "altitude" based, not the actual snow. Guess I need frost protection. I have zero idea how to get it. My altar stage is still only lvl 5, that's probably some of it. Each altar level (for me so far) has at least one (shroud) material required that is so annoying to get, even with 25+minute shroud-time. Either because of grind or getting lost finding a POI area or a spawn area etc. Dangit, guess I gotta grind.

Enshrouded: --I see an entrance room like this in this game and I nope outta there. Don't get me wrong, most of such aren't that terrible or anything - outside of a couple platforming things, because I suck at platforming things - but some have taken a bit of time/effort or reloads. I ran out of patience already. As always, it's hard to get a picture of one's base. I haven't gone very extravagant, mostly functional. I also keep building upwards for workstations because I don't want to increase the "build area" of the base-altar, since it stops trees/plants/terrain/anything from respawning. --This is the front, at night. Notice all the NPC's in a line. Was tired of them wandering all over when I have to find/craft from them, so I made all their walking-distances to 0. They don't even go sleep in their beds anymore. There are too many craft-station-NPC's. >.> --The glowing blocks for lighting are the only things that don't go out when it rains so I use them a lot. --The back, night. It's a steep dropoff in back, roadside in front. --Similar backview, day. The porch floor below my chr is where the small farm-area is. Since apparently no sun is required.

I've had the 32gb ddr4 since I built this thing. Only one game ever wanted it all, and that was only for rendering a map, not actual playing. I have had no care to "rush" to higher speed ddr5 and get that extra 6-10fps or whatever. Nor for current gen/faster nvme's or even sata ssd's. After a point those things start to feel like "window-treatments" for house windows. It's nice, but not really necessary/gaming. It's not a rush thing, those. Although the way AAA dev's are going, in a few years gonna need mega-nvme drive just to prevent read/transfer poor frame pacing/stutters. Haha. -

I went on top of Burg.L to collect some things and I was able to walk on him just fine for a bit but when I went to fight one of the mosquitoes, I fell right through him to the bottom. I went back up and stayed away from that spot. Started fighting the other mosquito and fell through again.

I noticed that I was missing weapons that I always keep in my inventory. Every time, I've found them in one of my chests where they should not be. They should be in my inventory. Today, I was getting something out of one of my chests and when I did, it swapped one of my weapons for it. Makes sense why my weapons keep disappearing.

I have started The Talos Principle 2. It is an excellent example of how to mess up a perfectly fine puzzle game. Like, were the developers thinking "I want the player to stare only at the compass while they are trying to find the next puzzle room and jog there for several minutes". The puzzles are fine if easy. The TTP1 PC's rewrite is somewhat disappointing (to be fair, Larian do much worse).

Necro'ing to say that this build was as fun as advertised. Thanks for the work to build and share it. I completed a BPM Triple Crown - kill all the things - run and the poet carried the group! I swapped out chanter for Fury Shaper barbarian, which was slightly less fast (if my math is correct), but equally fun. I found myself not messing much with the imbues because of expert mode, but it ran on auto-pilot for the most part, which is another kind of bonus. @Aestus and @thelee talk about this in their class tier list conversation, but having a strong build that can run well without much micro, is great in RTWP party play, where there is a finite limit to player micro capacity. Great for Megabosses - somewhat trivializes HoW and Belranga, who can be interrupted.

In my solo runs I end with Eccea's Arcane Blaster as range/backup option with all of my builds even if they are not ranged characters: it is an "all-rounder" weapon valid in many situations, and aside elemental damage enchantments (very good) also the 3-bullets-split is a great enchantment, for abilities proc too.

It's pretty baffling to me that the game is so dark in so many places and Obsidian didn't think to put in any sort of light spell, or even torches? Come on Obsidian, you can do better than that.

Thank you for responding, this is the type of comment I am interested in My original question seems to have been misunderstood with people thinking Im trolling and I have to take some responsibility for that for not clarifying what I meant which I thought I did I used Maduro as an example because we discussing Venezuela but that doesn't mean if you say " Maduro isnt a legitimate leader " you now support how the US removed him around regime change These are 2 separate points. My question was about the broader reality of what defines legitimacy\Democracy and for me that requires a free and fair election in any country that calls itself a Democracy But a legitimate Democracy or leader can fail to deliver on policies and running the country properly but then you vote him out in the next election Thats how it should work in any real Democracy But I understand what you saying around "in the sense of being legal in the context of that nation's judicial system " so the word legitimacy becomes difficult to define So yes, its probably better to say " can you claim to be a Democracy "

is it that super realistic engine but now these kind of graphic somehow look cheap instead of impressive -
Firstly I support Ramaphosa on several decisions and he is the legitimate leader of South Africa because we have free and fair elections I dont support parts of our foreign policy because its inconsistent and selective with what we say we stand for. But thats not the same thing as saying I dont support what the government and now the GNU believes in around all foreign policy decisions. So it depends on what part of foreign policy we talking about. Two things can be true at the same time and political support is not a binary reality. You can criticize and support the same politicians and parties for different reasons Ramaphosa has been very good around domestic policies, he is more or less consistent with what the Constitution says and he respects the judiciary. He is a Constitutionalist and thats important to me Overall I have a more positive view of him than a negative view , next time dont jump to conclusions. Ask me and I will respond And then you very confused about my opinion of Marikana and we have discussed this through the years. I have always had the same opinion, it was a terrible tragedy and Ramaphosa is not responsible because he didnt order the police to open fire. Thats a false narrative peddled by unions and the EFF to malign him. A series of factors contributed towards the massacre and all sides have to take responsibility for that mass shooting, you cant just blame the police

A non-democratic government can clearly be legitimate, in the sense of being legal in the context of that nation's judicial system. The validity of their claims to be a democracy is another matter; no I don't believe Venezuela is a democracy any longer. They're what I dub a "mockracy" -- pretending to be a democracy for propaganda purposes.

I have had an issue with my buggie de-spawning back to the nest. If I get too close to the cold region my character jumps off the buggie and it goes straight into the nest. I cant whistle to get it back. Also, when I was by the ominent facility level b10, by the statue, riding my buggie, my buggie went right back to the nest and I had to run all the way back to my base to retrieve him.
