Me, they impacted at age 17ish, my face swelled up like a hamster with stuffed cheek pouches, and the pain was bad for 24 hrs, but I went out the same afternoon for Chinese food (well, I ate a little soup I guess) anyway. Because I was 17ish and hanging with friends was more important than anything, haha. Hope the recovery continues to go well and you can eat something tasty now. At least, like with an appendix removal, you can now know that it's a possible health issue cause that can never apply, again.

Went back to replay D:OS 2. I guess one thing I don't like about it is the number of times I have to refight every battle until I get a result where I don't need to resurrect half the party. It gets a little tedious, but I persevere.

Of course NMS releases their new Expedition yesterday. I normally don't do those but this one hard-gates some new Corvette building pieces behind it. I could wait for a save editor to checkmark "finished expedition" stuff but thought I'd try. I did finish (took about 10 hrs with a new chr vs. importing in item help from existing save) but it was a reminder of why I usually don't do them. They're always very similar in terms of "scan 10 fauna, fish 10 fish, kill a certain monster, loot a derelict freighter, go to this new system, checkmark, now repeat new short missions in this system" for 5ish "stages." Even if you don't have to do it all in order it's still very repetitive. It might be fun once but do them a lot and it feels too same-y. And usually the rewards are mostly cosmetic and not worth the hours spent. But I guess I have the new parts unlocked now.

Far as I know Steam version does. So would GoG's version but I don't know if they've done any GoG-ifying. But yeah - would have to be a mega-mega-megax10 fan to pay for that. I mean, the "statue" is cute but not $160 cute. Maybe $20 at best (the statue alone). And it's still digital, not even a "hard" copy. Although they do give you a "A throwback-style display box " to put on a shelf. I was wondering why there seemed to be so many "FONV is the best FO" type videos in my YT algo lately.

1. You were right and the launcher skip worked. 2. The game still does not work. Using a username without a space in it changed the error, but then I updated the GPU drivers and the previous error returned. I have also redownloaded the game's latest version from GOG (the patch was for a newer version than the initial release), with no improvements.

Actually that work with everything that proc on weapon attack : avenging storm is the better way to convert these attacks into damage, but that work also with the Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak while invisible during the effect (only from the wizard invisibility or Whithdraw, temporal cocoon, etc ). I dont find in my memory some other stuffs like that but it is the idea.

Imo the free spellcasting is better in general. Yes, Ascension can be prolonged with Salvation of Time, Wall of Draining, INT, +x% to beneficial effects items, Ooblit and so on. Good point. I actually don't remember because it has been so long I used the sabre. I suppose it only works for weapon attacks then. Didn't test it lately so I cannot be sure. The synergy with Skald is that it grants +1 phrase point for each kill (not only with the weapon, with any kill, for example via invocation, too) and that Skald's offensive invocations often only cost 2 phrase points. It allows the Skald to spam cheap invocations more often despite not being in melee (doing melee crits). Besides that there is not much (except of course its healing proc etc. occurs more often bc. of Driving Flight). I personally wouldn't multiclass Ranger and Priest. I don't see effective or entertaining synergies (except high accuracy for offensive spells). I like SC Priests best. Summons are one of the most impactful things in the game. Even if they don't deal any damage they are still a potent CC tool that requires no attack roll and usually last a long time. Essence Interrupter lets you put summons on the field which don't count towards the summoning limit (you can have a proper summon and the ones from Essence Interrupter at the same time), cost no resources and no action time or recovery. Just summons "on the fly" on top of the positive effect to have removed an enemy permanently. It has two damage types (shock and pierce) which are different from other bows,which is always nice. Especially good against certain high AR constructs like Steelclads which have low shock DR. It has a shocking or burning lash which grows with Metaphysics -lashes are multiplicative damage bonuses. Its attacks count as elemental attacks so it can be used by the Arcane Archer with no drawback (no acc penalty). And it comes exceptional which is very good that early in the game. Hunting bows in general are good because of their modal combined with their inherent +5 accuracy. With Rapid Shots you get -50% recovery time for overall "only" -10 accuracy. -50% recovery is huge.

Not sure you can read much into Medvedev's rage posting all that much. And with Trump, stuff is great once you don't look too closely at it.

Yes, maybe i'll stick with high PER. IIRC 20 PER is what you need to detect everything in the game, right? I like the flavour of this combat pacing, ie. being a Ranger while not ascended, then turning into a Cipher on steroids once you are. But the thing is, as an Ascendant (never played that subclass before), you basically have to chose between benefiting from giga Soulwhip while ascended by keeping up your attacks, or switching to spellcasting ? Is it possible to extend the ascended state's duration ? (SoT, INT, ... ?) Adaptative reads "+2 ACC/stack for all weapons", is it known that this is actually universal and not weapon-only? I read that Blightheart's AoE tick is considered an attack and therefore qualifies for proccing effects like Avenging Storm. But iirc that spell is only available for Tekehu SC... Are there any other synergies with this (aside scrolls of Avenging Storm)? What about Priest then ? I'm mostly looking at Skaen (and Itinerant feels right RP-wise), but i'm always a bit hesitant to multiclass a Priest (except maybe Contemplative...) Lastly, I have a slightly off-topic question regarding Essence Interrupter, it is often mentioned as a great weapon but I can't quite figure out why.
