Arrow-Verse is soooo much better than Justice League.

Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother?

What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest.

Begone! Lest I draw my nail...

I've been watching an Amazon Prime series called Bosch. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Unlike Hurlshot, I think the lead actor is the strongest part of the series. He's been in a couple of other shows I've enjoyed, but generally as a bad guy. Small parts mostly in things I've seen.

I also especially enjoy the theme song.

Oh I like the Bosch actor, that is why I gave it a chance. I just couldn't get into the character. It may have improved, I only watched an episode or two.

Didn't liked Bosch in the first few episodes either, but he kept growing on me. Now I'm eagerly awaiting the next season.

/edit: He probably brought Jazz to a hell of a lot people who otherwise wouldn't even have checked that genre out.

The Psych movie

Was freakin awesome

for the most part we liked the psych tv series, but hated the shawn spencer character... which made it tough to like psych.  liked gus and corbin bernsen and lassiter.  shawn were too... d0uchey.

am thinking we didn't get through more than 1/2 of season one.

we did watch godless on netflix.

not certain how we feel 'bout it. overall we enjoyed, but frequent it devolved into kinda camp levels o' silliness, and we weren't certain if such excesses were intentional.  even so, the cast were excellent and we enjoyed the almost tarantino levels o' violence, so were worth our time.  dunno, we enjoyed godless enough but somehow felt as if it wasted potential.

HA! Good Fun!

Lassiter is one of my favorite character from the series. First, he has the most poignant speech of the series when he talks to his estranged wife and signs the papers. Second, the line where he explains the reason the ether didn't knock him out was because he'd been exposing himself to it in order to develop resistance. If I remember right, Gus even doubted him and took a whiff and passed out. lol I was okayish with the show for much the same reason as Gromnir. Shawn acted so childish so unrelentingly that he just came across as a complete tool. However, the wife just luuuurved his sorry ass. She especially liked this one line where someone says, "Can I be frank" and doofus responds: "As long as I can be Dean and Gus can be Sammy."

It was tough to see Lassie (Timothy Omundson) on the screen so soon after his stoke but here's hoping he makes a full recovery. His scene was pretty touching though.

Yeah, I didn't know he had had a stroke and was wondering what was up. He's 48. What the hell.

I don't think the movie was Psych's best work, but it wasn't close to their worst, either. A decent sendoff and conclusion...was nice to see most of the gang back together.

How I have existed fills me with horror. For I have failed in everything - spelling, arithmetic, riding, tennis, golf; dancing, singing, acting; wife, mistress, whore, friend. Even cooking. And I do not excuse myself with the usual escape of 'not trying'. I tried with all my heart.

In my dreams, I am not crippled. In my dreams, I dance.

Well, hell, now that you dangled it in front of me, I need to tell my wife because she will want to see the movie. I didn't even know it was out, but I saw on Amazon I can rent it for $5.

Just finished Stranger Things S2. Loved it. Apparently S3 won't be until 2019... omg that's so long... :(

Sometimes when David Harbour delivered a line, it would sound exactly like Harrison Ford. I can't tell if it's just his voice, or he's trying to establish a certain sound for Hopper's character. But it is uncanny how much it's like Ford.

For real 80's deep cuts in the next season of Stranger Things, I want to see Eleven hijacking an SR-71:

Oh! Better idea. The Soviets kidnap Eleven, so she has to escape back to the west by stealing a MiG-31 "Firefox" that she can only pilot by thinking in Russian.

“Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.”

"The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete."

I really liked Bosch, the main character is an actor I usually disliked in anything else I have seen him in, but Bosch is good.

Currently watching The Blacklist, took me about 10 episodes to get into it, but then it takes quite a dark turn, really liking it now.

Just finished Season 4 of The Blacklist on Netflix a few days back. Which is all they have up at the moment.

I hope it get's renewed for a 6th season, because I haven't enjoyed a long running series this much in a long time.

Started watching iZombie. The name was putting me off since a long time, because it's just so.. ugh. But everyone said the show is good, so I finally gave it a try. Seen the first two episodes now, and it actually does seem interesting. Will continue with it.

It was entertaining but I just stopped watching it in 2nd season. Not because it was bad but way too many series to choose from so I eventually have to cut some off. hell, I got one series that I record that I'm 60 episodes behind on. L0L

Scream Queens any good? I've scrolled by it but I've never heard any buzz to interest me.

Yeah, I thought it was good fun, great characters, nobody gets out alive with mucho goro. Real piss take on Greek letter houses, ruled by a complete bitch, Vs normal girl with a slasher running loose on campus. :)

Mars

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4939064/

Told across 6 episodes with Episode 7 a Making of kind of documentary.

Two elements of the story are told together, 2033 is the current mission, where they land on Mars. 2016 is a series of documentaries, these 2016 parts are interspersed periodically throughout 2033 events, sometimes to the detriment of the story or in the midst of something dramatic unfolding.

On episode 4, thankfully there's only 2 more episodes to go, I don't like the cast but the documentary is good, so at best I just find it interesting.
