Understatement of the year, dude doesn't have a single fan outside the USA.

Well, the international propaganda machine (aka 'mainstream media'; largely owned by the same folks worldwide) is going out of it's way to demonize him and show that people in other nations (as well as within the U.S.) hate him, so one might think that, but it wouldn't be true.

Fortunately it doesn't matter much what people outside the U.S. think when it comes to U.S. politics (other than the fact that our current system allows foreigners to purchase our politicians/government, which is a tinsy problem, but I think we're talking about average Joe foreigner, not their overlord, so anon on that).

In addition to Average Joe foreigner's opinion being of little to no consequence, is the fact that the propagation of such an unfact, that all foreigners hate Trump, is like to sway more Americans to vote for Trump than against him. Certainly many of the folks who so far plan to vote for him will love him even more if it rankles some foreigners.

Hell, the propagation of such an unfact even has myself considering just for a moment of switching my so far planned vote for Mickey to Donald. Not that I'm happy about rankling foreigners (I really don't care either way), it's that the full court press by the mainstream media on an international level against Trump is a huge positive for him in my book, given that said propaganda machine more often describes blue skies as storms and spades as waffledonkeys than tell it like it is, especially when they're trying hard to convince the populace at large of something. In other words, what evil murderous lying MFers consider an enemy, I might just consider a friend. So far I'm sticking with Mickey though.

Did someone post this already? I keep getting distracted at the post with Trump climbing over the wall

Emails show NSA rejected Hillary Clinton's request for secure smartphone

Resolving the issue was given such priority as to result in a face-to-face meeting between Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills, seven senior State Department staffers with five NSA security experts. According to a summary of the meeting, the request was driven by Clinton's reliance on her BlackBerry for email and keeping track of her calendar. Clinton chose not to use a laptop or desktop computer that could have provided her access to email in her office, according to the summary.

Standard smartphones are not allowed into areas designated as approved for the handling of classified information, such as the block of offices used by senior State Department officials, known by the nickname "Mahogany Row" for the quality of their paneling. Mills said that was inconvenient, because they had to leave their offices and retrieve their phones to check messages.

Mills also asked about waivers provided during the Bush administration to then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for her staff to use BlackBerrys in their secure offices. But the NSA had phased out such waivers due to security concerns.

The department's designated NSA liaison, whose name was redacted from the documents, expressed concerns about security vulnerabilities inherent with using BlackBerry devices for secure communications or in secure areas. However, the specific reasons Clinton's requests were rebuffed are being kept secret by the State Department.

The following month, in March 2009, Clinton began using private email accounts accessed through her BlackBerry to exchange messages with her top aides. The State Department has thus far released more than 52,000 pages of Clinton's work-related emails, a small percentage of which have been withheld because they contain information considered sensitive to national security.

In recent months, Clinton has said her home-based email setup was a mistake, but that she never sent or received anything that was marked classified at the time.

Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon declined to comment Wednesday.

Not one? Why do people like you feel like lying? It onyl makes you look like a tool. I bet a non US poll would surprise you then if you think NOBODY outside the US like shim. Also, for the record for trolls like Bruce, I am NOT one of those non Amerikan fans of Trump but to claim they don'texist is pure bull that only an ignorant delusional liar would claim.

Drowsy likes him and he's from Serbia so that's false. Not that I wouldn't believe Trump is largely disliked outside burgerland, but "a single fan" is a bit overboard.[/pedant]

I wonder how that will turn out and what the results might be. At one side you have people who bears the symbol of being discriminated and suffered numerous expulsions from different countries openly marking Trump as one of those that will make history repeat itself, but at the same time also bears the symbol of being one of the bigger power players in making sure that the presidential candidate is no more than a lackey for the establishment.

Lets see what happens.

Clinton seems to be quite lovey-dovey with some strange bedfellows:

Well there's an article with some serious stinkypoo in it. I wonder if Liel actually believes his BS or if he's just spouting what was conjured up by/with his bosses in the IDF.

If many folks at AIPAC walk out, they will have shot themselves in the foot with a very loud powerful round. Most people are ignorant to AIPAC and what it does. It serves AIPAC to stay under the radar. Staging a walkout will put them on the radar in a way that will not serve them. I think it will be exceptionally unwise of them to stage a walkout, and I don't think it will happen as these folks are usually exceptionally smart at the PR game (ie: Lieb's article is more than likely just some Israeli psyop stuff).

That said, this speech is definitely one to watch. Trump is very smart and plays the PR game quite well himself. He knows who he is talking to there, and how dangerous it potentially is for him. It will be interesting to see what he says, and doesn't. Because for the more astute the sincerity of his anti-establishment image could cement into a reality or go poof all together.

The pro-Israel camp is split on Trump. I know Sheldon Adelson is sympathetic to Trump, and Netanyahu likely is as well. I think they see in Trump not a person whose foreign policy is for sale (like Hillary and Rubio) but one who thinks as they do (remember Trump's comment about Israel's wall). Next on the Israeli agenda is likely a new war on Lebanon, and blowing up the al-Aqsa mosque, possibly some kind of unilateral arrangement in the West Bank. It would help if the person in power in the US was very anti-Muslim and a bit crazy, and not just a bought shill, because money can only get you so far (remember both the GWB and Obama regimes have criticized Israel at times). It's no doubt Rubio was their preferred candidate, but it's fully possible they will now rally behind Trump.

Meanwhile, the classic neocons are either spending all of their twitter feed bashing Trump (Kristol) or have already jumped ship to Hillary (Kagan).

Yes, but while accepting that there are Trump fans outside the US (some of whom probably aren't trolling either) the spirit of pedantry compels me to note that Boo's political quiz results indicated he's actually a BernieBro, not a TrumPet.

...to claim they exist is pure bull that only an ignorant delusional liar would claim.

Uh huh... I think you meant that the other way around ;)

No more a fan of Trump than of say Berlusconi, but generalisations and absolutes always tends to reduce the strength of a claim.

I still believe a Trumpian president would mean a new era of pre WWI isolationism of the US.

The only reason I like Trump is because of his comments on foreign policy. And because he seems to annoy all the people I dislike even more than him.

If I was American I'd detest the democrats because they have no notion of nationality and I'd despise the republicans because they have too much of it and in all the wrong places.

As for Bernie, and the socialdemocrat policies he seems to resemble - I always though they lead to a humane society but the problem in Europe currently is that there isn't a single real economic socialist among them, that their cultural and immigration policies are failing and counter-productive and they're blaming the essentially powerless and excluded right (aka the "far right" in the media) for their own mistakes.

That is a bitter pill to swallow.

И његова сва изгибе војска,
Седамдесет и седам иљада;
Све је свето и честито било
И миломе Богу приступачно.
