Keyrock Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Shadowrun: Hong Kong is getting an Extended Edition with 5+ hours of new gameplay and developer commentary. https://twitter.com/WeBeHarebrained/status/693513739023310848 https://www.facebook.com/HarebrainedSchemes/posts/942112145856953 I'm assuming the 5+ hours of new gameplay is the mini-campaign that was promised to us before. 3 RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks

Is the murderer supposed to be different from in the book? Just wondering if the game would be anti-climactic to one who has read the novel to then play the game. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
WDeranged Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Looks like I'll get to use my little grey brain cells very soon. This comes out tomorrow. I like the idea but they're asking a lot if they expect you to discern the feelings of those bulging eyed mannequins
Amentep Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) Looks like I'll get to use my little grey brain cells very soon. This comes out tomorrow. I like the idea but they're asking a lot if they expect you to discern the feelings of those bulging eyed mannequins Remember this is Poirot! "Always I am right. It is so invariable it startles me. And now it looks very much as though I may be wrong, and that upsets me. But I should not be upset, because I am right. I must be right because I am never wrong." Keyrock Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) Looks like I'll get to use my little grey brain cells very soon. This comes out tomorrow. Is the murderer supposed to be different from in the book? Just wondering if the game would be anti-climactic to one who has read the novel to then play the game. I'm kind of wondering that myself. Edit: From Steam forums: The game is of course trying to follow the book as best as possible, but you'll still have to help Poirot through the investigation by searching for clues, linking them together and solving puzzles. There is more than one ending and you can also collect trading cards and 50 achievements. Just by the fact that we're talking about a game, you can expect new things! Feel free to give us your feedback after your first playthrough! Edited February 3, 2016 by Keyrock RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks

marelooke Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Mordheim: City of the Damned released 2 new recruitable units as DLC (one for the not-so-human warbands, and one for the human warbands). Oddly enough this info is not featured anywhere on the official website's frontpage. Thankfully Steam put it right in my face: Globadier (for Skaven/Cult of the Damned): http://store.steampowered.com/app/434040/ Smuggler (for Mercenaries/Sisters of Sigmar): http://store.steampowered.com/app/434041/
Lexx Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Damn. I really don't like the normal Warhammer, except for the skaven part. And the skaven in Mordheim really make me want to buy the game. "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
Fenixp Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 The chainsaw sync kills in new Doom look so irritatingly long
ManifestedISO Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I'm sure there are other controller collector nerds, but I have yet to connect with one. Announced today, Uncharted, Dualshock 4, Gray Blue, limited quantities, March 11. All Stop. On Screen.
Lexx Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Wait, there are people who collect gamepads? I already hate it a lot to just have to switch between Xbox and PS3 controller and then people buy all of them on purpose? "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
Majek Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) And they pay extra for special versions. :D I only buy one when i need it ( which is going to be pretty soon i guess, stupid COD running abusing my left stick and L3 button) and even then i try get some discount. Anyway ManifestedISO do tell when you find this controller in stores, for the right price i may want it too. Edited February 5, 2016 by Majek 1.13 killed off Ja2.
pmp10 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Just when you thought piracy discussion was over: Pirates stop cracking games to measure sales impact. I can't tell if they're serious or just need a excuse to leave denuvo games be.
Sarex Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Just when you thought piracy discussion was over: Pirates stop cracking games to measure sales impact. I can't tell if they're serious or just need a excuse to leave denuvo games be. Wanna bet that before half a year is over some other group will crack it and take over. We already had this before with Starforce. "because they filled mommy with enough mythic power to become a demi-god" - KP
Mamoulian War Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 (edited) And I just hope, that no one takes over, and we will finally see at least some research how piracy affect sales. I am just tired, how everyone blames their incompetence to deliver quality products on pirates and used games markets. Fighter Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 How can they possibly know the effects of piracy from that? It's not like you can roll back time and see how a pirated game would perform without piracy. 1
