Oerwinde
Dang, rough 24h there Oerwinde. Hope the recharge goes well. This years "immedite family" Christmas party was at my brother in laws this year so we cruised over there. Good food, good times. On the presents front, I finally got to open that set of Craftsman ratchet wrenches I bought myself. So shiny. That was 24th AND 25th. Yeah, recharge went well. Up till 4 am, but unlike usual didn't need to take melatonin to get to sleep. Progressed a bit through the story and the Railroad questline, got Curie her synth body and gave her some glasses. So now I have a hot french scientist with glasses with a legendary laser rifle following me around. Figured out why I couldn't buy digital games off amazon, wrong credit card selected. So I used that credit towards Vampire Bloodlines, Skyrim Legendary Edition, and Wolfenstein The New Order. So I feel better. Gfted1
^Nice! I went out and bought more handtools that I already have with the intention of replacing my old ones. The old ones are perfectly fine, but hey, whats Christmas if you don't piss away some bonus monies on eyecandy Ive been admiring? Also got a creeper seat (little rolling bench) because sitting on the garage floor to work on stuff is for chumps. Woldan
Watched Star Wars. Liked it despite some obvious flaws - which are mainly story related. Liked the new actors. 1 I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.

I imagine you felt a lesson needed to be learnt and I get that as thats how you were probably raised and that does makes sense...its about children understanding and appreciating consequences. But I can also see your wifes point, I would think not giving a child a present on Xmas can be really cruel and have a possible negative impact on overall progressive mental well being? Bartimaeus
Yeah, if your child is horribly spoiled and can't handle not getting a present on Christmas, it might indeed affect their current psyche. The good news is, they're already horribly spoiled and probably aren't salvageable anyways. :D Quote How I have existed fills me with horror. For I have failed in everything - spelling, arithmetic, riding, tennis, golf; dancing, singing, acting; wife, mistress, whore, friend. Even cooking. And I do not excuse myself with the usual escape of 'not trying'. I tried with all my heart. In my dreams, I am not crippled. In my dreams, I dance. BruceVC
I would think not giving a child a present on Xmas can be really cruel and have a possible negative impact on overall progressive mental well being? What Yes ...its been proven. One year I was denied any presents despite the fact all 5 of my siblings got, I was 6....it was very depressing and made me feel really really insecure, its psychologically hurtful. Obviously I recovered but what about other kids ?
