What you did today

Also I do not consider a screwdriver to be a good weapon, the surface of a knife is much MUCH bigger which means it does far more damage than any screwdriver. Its very easy to slip since it does not have any guard. And its much easier to disarm somebody who uses a screwdriver as a weapon, you can't grab a sharp knife blade and wrestle it out of somebody's hands, a screwdriver can be easily grabbed. There is a reason why people who do need a meele weapon don't carry screwdrivers on their belts or vests.

A screwdriver is hard to carry, clumsy and unsafe and therefore a terrible weapon.

The chance of grabbing any sharp implement coming at you full speed is slim to none. We tried mock sessions, if it was the real thing everyone would be dead.

My friend who got stabbed on the street in some ridiculous dispute never even saw the blade coming, he only had time to lift his arm which was skewered instead of his stomach.

И његова сва изгибе војска,
Седамдесет и седам иљада;
Све је свето и честито било
И миломе Богу приступачно.

however, we do have the full damascus series o' MAC knives.

gorgeous, no?

HA! Good Fun!

If I ever had two thousand bucks to spend on a set of kitchen knives this would likely be my pick

oh, we don't use them as kitchen knives.  we got one o' those walnut surfaced magnetic knife racks so we can stare at the MACs while we use our cheap wusthof blades.

...

am only kinda joking.

HA! Good Fun!

ps edited out picture

Well, who doesn't like a nice rack? Long-time followers know I do.

Also, enjoying the futility of my employer wanting me to spend today at the office, while I have absolutely nothing to do. Well, if they want to pay me for spending time Walterfootball and the Obsidz board, they may do so.

You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that?

I think today I'll start a new thread where I post semi offensive videos that insinuate how terrible everone else is and make humorous but vaugely threatening comments about them. And then I'll keep doing it until about page six it's no longer funny and I'm raving about how you're all gonna die!

Oh wait... someone already did that today. Doggone it!

Don't forget to delete your avatar, GD!

I will, right after I swear I'll never post here again and then start the whole cycle over in a week.

I haven't left my house in over a week. A week! I hate going out to town during the Christmas insanity but unless I want PB&J for dinner on Friday I am going to have to go out tomorrow. Or go fishing or hunting tomorrow at least.

Same here, haven't left the house in over one week. The weather is awful and I don't miss having people around so its not bothering me at all.

What I did: heavy deadlifts, squats and core exercises despite a severe headache. I didn't even have to skip any exercises or use lighter weights - once you see it as challenge its not so bad anymore.

I am thoroughly enjoying my Xmas break, I spent the weekend partying with friends and the last few days I have been chilling at our beach cottage. The weather has been temperamental, its been raining on and off but today is perfect. Sunny with a cool breeze so its perfect to spend the time in the sea engaging in any water related activity  :dancing:

Yesterday we went for a 10 km walk on the  beach, at the end of the walk we came across an unusual site. There was this insane man completely naked who was on the beach who was performing some strange ritual, he may have been communicating with his ancestors which in African  culture ancestors is like a religious belief   ...he was talking to himself, waving his arms and basically walking over the same spot again and again. It was quite surreal and he completely ignored us. Also this part of the beach is isolated, there was no one around for maybe 4 km in either way...made me wonder what life he has had to lead to this moment

I just saw 'The Snowman' on TV, as that is tradition on christmas morning. As always, you get that one moment of innocent feeling of childhood from christmas past. You know, that magic that you only felt as a kid and mostly forgotten as an adult.

Now off to the parents for some christmas porridge.

We have 50 pounds of masa. We may have overdone this, I think we can go into business. We have a pretty big assembly line. I am in charge of the propane burners outside. I have only partially burnt some hairs, so it is going well.

I am enjoying a Deschutes Jubilale while I work. Very festive.

Yesterday I made some fudge for the first time in my life. Let it cool overnight and chopped it up today. Over my expectations, it turned out goddamn perfect. Solid blocks yet creamy enough.

I expect to fail miserably next time. :p
