    I think in this case it makes a lot of sense, especially since they just want to write a main story that introduces you to the world (like in Viking Conquest) and keep the sandbox intact.

     

    I can go with that, I started M&B once, got through what passed for a tutorial ended up being none the wiser and totally confused about where to go from wherever I was, decided to Google a bit but ended up playing other games instead...

    Its the first South African game I know of that has been released amongst this much anticipation, I hope it does well and gets good feedback :yes:

    ^ Best of luck to them, but they sure as **** won't be getting my money.  As a Linux user, I STILL haven't gotten to play the first game I helped fund for them, now over a year after it released.

    It's like they took the 'not-dark-enough' complains a little too seriously.

    And what's worse it sounds like they did bet the farm on Enhanced Edition.

    A WoW 2 is unlikely. Other than WoW, all large MMO's were by and large failures (no offense to people who enjoy SW:ToR but it is hardly the success that was expected). I doubt even Blizzard can capture lightning bottle twice - they don't even seem to be able to keep people playing their current MMO and they scrapped their last MMO project and turned it into Team Fortress by way of MOBA.

    I'm a little confused. I only skimmed the article but its seems to be referencing D:OS and I don't see where they changed anything due to the whiners. Can you direct me to the relevant portion of the article?
