April 6, 201510 yr Nah, he always dies to the biawac. But, yeah, it's not hard to walk out of the intro dungeon with 3k copper.
April 6, 201510 yr 3k? You can sell to him while he's in the party too? :3 My Deadfire mods: Out With The Good | Waukeen's Berth | Carrying Voice | Nemnok's Congregation Other Deadfire work: Deadfire skill check catalogue Avowed skill calculator

April 6, 201510 yr No way you can have 3k. Max you can have imo is 1k if you sell literally everything you gathered before he joins your party.

April 6, 201510 yr Author Am I missing something here - I can only sell the Pistol to him for 150cp - you guys make it seem like you get a bunch for it You're late to the party. It used to sell for 400+ on 1.02, seems they toned it down in 1.03. Legit, no DLC, and no killing of all camp people, you can still get 900+ by looting everything that no one owns (hence no hostiles), Disappointer and a couple of wolf hides. The potions are worth more than the joke gun. And you are not missing much with that "nerf". 900g will net you some level 1 hires (250g each), which isn't something you absolutely need if you're going with companions party. You don't need to buy anything from the shops either once you start questing and looting. Resting at Gilded Vale's inn is free, so is your stronghold and depending on your temporary allies, some NPCs will provide you with rest spots in dungeons too. Dungeons usually provide 1~2 camp supplies as well. tl;dr version: Don't worry. Edited April 6, 201510 yr by Blackthane
April 6, 201510 yr Related question, maybe - do merchants always keep what you sell them? Sometimes it seems stuff is still there, other times they seem to have refreshed their inventory.
April 6, 201510 yr so enchanting the dissapointer with accuracy makes it a worthwhile weapon? It makes it weapon you use up to lvl 12 Edit : it looses the terrible part , gets the accurate part and also has DR bypass on it so yeh its great especialy when you pack 3-4 weapon sets for ur char later For dissapointer price discussion in last patch you could sell it for 750 to the guy in a camp before the scripted event starts Edited April 6, 201510 yr by Exoduss
April 6, 201510 yr Author Edit : it looses the terrible part , gets the accurate part and also has DR bypass on it so yeh its great Upon comparing it with a normal pistol from random loot? It has the exact same garbage stats and the exact same bonuses upon enchanting it (on paper, assuming the figures are right and executed properly), and by the time you have enough money and ingredients to enchant either you should have come across better guns. Given its low selling price these days, the only reason you want to keep the Disappointer is that it is a unique item. Well unless it truly has some other hidden property upon completing all of its enchantments?

Greater character customization might be new to game design in comparison to IE legacy but in this case I cant tell its done well in PoE.
