...ah, those 80's "hard rock" fashions - and 1 hit wonders.

Still good for a hyper day, tho. :p

I'm guessing you weren't around and listening to music in the 80s?

Quiet Riot was not a one hit wonder. A number of their videos got heavy airplay on MTV in the early/mid 80s (the golden age of MTV) and they were a pretty big presence on the metal scene. Here's one of their other hits.

I grew up then, so yes, I was around.

But I didn't listen to hard rock/heavy metal that much. Def Leppard's Pyromania, Sammy Hagar, a bit of Van Halen, few Judas Priest hits, that sort of thing. I was more into the "new wave". That one Quiet Riot song is all I really heard/saw on MTV all the time and I didn't buy their album. Most 80's collections will just have that one song, so it's just what I joke. I think I have heard the Metal Health song before, tho.

P.S. - I'm 45, btw. By the mid-late 80's I actually stopped paying a lot of attention to the music scene in favor of other stuff. Which is why I'm stuck in the 80's half the time. :D
