The only Aliens game I really enjoyed was the 2D Shoot em up game for the SEGA Genesis and the SNES.

That one weird moment where I actually agree with Morgoth. Plus the idea of having just one alien is the idea Obsidian should have had for their Aliens RPG instead of going for aliens as a normal RPG monster like they did before the project was canceled.

I'd rather have a direct copy of Colonial Marines. With the bugs, crashes plus added Games for Windows Live, Steam, Starforce and hardcoded mouse acceleration and lefthanded controls.

i think the Alien universe would be a great setting for a game like system shock 2.   enemies should be somewhat infrequently encountered, and scary when you do encounter them

 

if they make it too similar to bioshock it will just be a shooter

 

and for the LOVE OF GOD PLEASE CHANGE THE MAIN CHARACTER, ripley's daughter died a happy old woman, she wasn't anyone special.  leave ripley's family alone.  make the main character a new character.

 

it would be like if in Dark Forces, instead of kyle katarn you had played obi wan's lost and forgotten son.  NO.  he did not HAVE A SON so you CAN'T PLAY AS HIM

Man, this GTA V PC thing is getting out of hand. Actually, I had to choose between The Last of Us and GTA V a couple of days ago and I went for the former. Wise decision methinks, because I am enjoying every nanosecond of it. Also, is this really Naughty Dog?! Because the Uncharted games where fun, but the humor was really gay.

I'm so torn about that game. I want it, and I don't want any online ****e, so getting the game will get me an hamstringed experience because I'm pretty damn certain that they will make the game fully expecting you to keep it online.

Interesting, and I can see how you could continue it in the future by adding new worlds to explore. Hopefully the number of NSFW journals uploaded won't destroy the souls of the designers.

So Enter the Dominatrix DLC came out for SR4 today.

Just had a quick poke at it before I go back to bed and while the gameplay isn't anything special, it's pretty much just a lot of humour. The "cast" being interviewed by Jane Valderama on what the original Enter the Dominatrix would have been like, and exposure to "deleted scenes" and what was there before it got turned into Saint's Row IV and how they felt about it all.

 

Valderama: "So how come Donnie was cut out of SRIV since he had such a major part in Enter the Dominatrix?"

Kensie: "Oh well the producers realised that with Matt, Donnie and myself that there were three high-tech hacker mary-sues and they needed to cut one."

Valderama: "Okay, so why was Donnie the one cut?"

Kensie: "Matt and I blackmailed the **** out of everyone."

You know on /v/ there's always a thread or two per week discussing the ethics of the NV factions. And sometimes there's a "Kreia is best Sith Lord" thread. 

 

Pre-ordered. Graphics aren't usually a selling point for me but this looks so good.
